You have to feel comfortable in your own body... It doesn't matter what colour you are. If you were to sit down and have a conversation with your mother and told her how you feel about it, you would feel a lot better, and you never know your mum might change her mind after you tell her how it is affecting you. If you want to know how to drop hints my advice is DON'T, this will only cause her to feel like she is being pushed and chances are she wont let you do it. Just be honest with her :) Hope this helps :) I was honest with my parents about shaving my legs, i said that i was getting teased and that it was affecting my school work and my self esteem, i now find i have a better relationship with my family and feel they aren't scary and if they say no it is for a good reason, you just have to be honest with them and let them understand your opinion and your side. :)

Vaginal burning, itchiness and small cuts all over labia?
About a couple months ago I experienced itchiness, burning and cottage cheese type discharge and was pretty much certain that this was a yeast infection. I didn't go to the doctor but I was on an antibiotic and I went off of it and it went away for about a couple weeks. The itchy burning sensation returned about a couple weeks later and I'm not sure if it was because I switched birth controls? I still haven't gone to the doctor and its gotten a lot worse. I have a ton of paper like cuts on my labia that burn and are really painful to touch. I don't think its herpes because I haven't got any blisters or any of the signs, but I'm worried that if I get tested they might mistakenly diagnose it as herpes because I do have the virus. I get cold sores whenever I'm sick/exhausted and have so since I was a child but never anything to do with genital herpes. Is there any that would be able to help me?

You should ask a vet to be sure, but I have had cats with similar-looking mouth lesions and they were one of two things. The first were called “rodent ulcers” even though they had absolutely nothing to do with rodents. They were in exactly the same spot as your cat’s, on the point of the chin in the pink mucous membrane, and the skin was absolutely bald around the fleshy area. They had a deeper indentation in the very center which is where the “rodent” part of the name came from. They were sort of like cold sores but not the same virus. As I recall, no treatment was done for it, no antibiotics, no steroids, no ointment that they would lick off. Vets may have something available for it now. That being said, it doesn’t mean you shouldn���t get it checked out, because it could be something else, like a tumor, or a projection of gum or bone, or a burn from “tasting” (dipping his chin in) your hot soup, or a chemical burn like from a cleaning product, or it could be an irritation from licking. It is an odd place for ringworm and would be strange to come up in only one day.I don’t know about the cat “sobbing.” But if ever you suspect there is anything causing pain anywhere on the cat, that is reason enough to go to the vet.The second similar-looking thing I have experienced with my cats is chin acne. It is cystic acne like a person would have, on the chin, and it is usually hard to see unless the fur comes off the cluster of pimples in a clump. Usually there are numerous bumps and spots, and if they are burst, they will bleed. Your kitten seems a lot younger than mine were when they had acne but you never know. Mine were treated with antibiotics and cleared up fine.I personally think it is either an ulcer or an irritated area where the fur has come off, maybe an area that has gone bald from rubbing while licking (rubbing on a window screen, licking the rug or a toy or their own belly, etc, — a lot of things are mysteriously attractive to 3 month old kittens), but again, I am not a vet; I am the one who asks the vet.PS I really can relate to your anxiety and wanting to avoid bad news about your “baby.” But if you wait until you know what all of the possibilities are before you take the cat to the vet, he will just have to be painful longer, and you may never get there…there are just too many diagnoses to rule out. I have what looks like a cut between the outer and inner labia on my vagina. At first I thought it was herpes but after doing research I found that there is no possible way it could be herpes. I just had a yeast infection a few weeks ago so I'm wondering if it could be from that. It only hurts if I touch it and there is no blistering or anything.
