How much crying is too much crying for an infant?
I guess there are many opinions on this subject and which is best is up to the individual. My experience with babies are they cry for 4 reasons. 1. They are hungry *Feed Them*. 2. They a dirty *Change their diaper* (Diaper changes are often it seems to myself). 3. They are uncomfortable *Move them around or pick them up, burp them* (lay on you back for hours at a time and you will learn). 4. They want interaction *Talk to them and make faces, let them touch, smell things and hear different gentle sounds (Not have to blow their eardrums away). Infants need a lot of attention. As they grow and become mobile they explore. Many times it a constant job to watch over them and cater to their needs. For myself, it easier to just make them a part of my daily routine. Sure, I may not be able to go some places I would like, but, there plenty of places to go with a baby/child. So, to finally get around to answering your question. An infant around me cries until I figure out the 4 reasons, usually less than 3-5 minutes. If, the 4 not work then I begin to suspect there something more wrong and will usually see the Pediatrician if I not know the cure. Colic and Bug bites can be common. That another long story, just be observant.

Well after reading all the negative answers there remains one more possibility, that there is a supernatural cause and reality for these phenomena, and the instances of these phenomena are legion in number all around the world. There have also been countless numbers of reported apparitions of the Virgin Mary and some of Christ as well to take into account that can be scoffed at but not quite dismissed with the same modernist viewpoint. It seems that during the past 20yrs or so something beyond our sphere of control has been taking place, are these phenomena a warning from Heaven as to the sinful state of the world? are they perhaps a sign of the justice of God against the `Culture of Death` that we are now steeped in with Abortion, Euthanasia and Infanticide? These happings certainly can be quickly dismissed and laughed at but I believe a little spiritual discernment just might reveal that there is something more here than meets the eye of those who scoff.
