Iphone bad esn phone will work in india?

I don't think you can use CDMA phones in India. If your phone has SIM slot, you can get it unlocked and use it in India.

Will Sprint fix my iPhone?

I dropped my phone and the screen is blank. The phone still turns on and the screen lights up and the touch screen still works, I just can't see anything on the screen. This has happened before and I have had it fixed by someone. Something inside the phone just got disconnected, but I was wondering if the Sprint store (my current phone company) would fix this issue or do they perform repairs at all?
Would the Apple store fix this for me? I am able to get a new phone, however I have information and things on this phone that I would like to still use/keep.

Can I use a bad ESN (Sprint) iPhone 7 from the US in Australia? Will a GSM SIM card work with the model (A1160)?

Sprint is a CDMA network, so you might have issues in using this phone with a GSM SIM card. However, you can always try to see if it works by inserting a GSM SIM card and placing a phone call.If the phone displays SIM not supported, then there is nothing you can do about it,

Will an iPhone with bad ESN/IMEI work internationally?

Obviously the idea of returning the phone to the rightful owner never entered your mind, right? At some point it is likely that most of Western Europe, India and the US will share IMEI databases for blacklisting. Note that Oman isn’t on that list.I don’t see why you cannot benefit from your theft of the phone. Oman certainly doesn’t have any agreements with the US concerning an IMEI database for blacklisting phones. No, you can’t change the IMEI. It is supposed to be hardwired or one-time programmed into the radio module. Evidently some radios can be altered, but not the ones in iPhones.

Will a bad ESN Verizon iPhone XR work on international GSM networks?

Since American iPhones are in demand in certain regions, where the use of FaceTime is banned by the government, then I would imagine that is where stolen iPhones wind up.The only place where no one cares if it’s a stolen device. Now, if Apple marks the phone as stolen, in their own database, there’s not a network in the world that will be able to activate the phone, because they are the manufacturer. Apple, just like every phone manufacturer, retains the ability to brick your phone wherever you are in the world. Naturally, they have strict standards by which they adhere in order to make such a drastic change in their customers’ devices. If your iPhone has been stolen, I STRONGLY recommend you use the iCloud activation lock to prevent your phone from being activated in another country. If you have a stolen iPhone, then I also strongly recommend you contact Apple directly for the proper procedure to replace your phone, provided you didn’t know it was stolen when you purchased it.Best wishes

Can I unlock BAD ESN Sprint iPhone 5/5c/5s with r sim 9 ?

Unlocking and Activation are two different steps. You might get a cheaper iPhone but you will still pay for it anyway when you buy unlock code or activation bypass software.
Best luck.

What is a bad ESN iPhone?

My understanding is that a bad ESN iPhone (or other brand phone) is a phone that cannot be activated on the carrier it is intended for for various reasons. ESN stands for “electronic serial number.” Certain carriers use an ESN instead of a SIM card. In the U.S., Verizon and Sprint use ESN. A phone could be characterized as a bad ESN phone if it was lost or stolen. It could also be if the phone was damaged, but the owner had insurance that expected them to return the damaged phone. If you're considering buying a “bad ESN iPhone,” keep in mind that you will not be able to activate the phone with your cell carrier. The iPhone may still be able to access wifi and run apps, but it won't be able to access cellular data or make and receive phone calls via your carrier.Lots more information at the following link:http://www.ebay.com/gds/What-is-...

What should I do with an iPhone locked to sprint?

You aren't “screwed”.I would recommend selling it if you truly and honestly can't pay to keep the iPhone— whether that means you can't pay for the service and/or the financing, I would recommend selling it. Yes, you can sell an iPhone that has an unpaid bill— but you would need to disclose that— as the iPhone having a “bad ESN”. I think eBay is the best option for getting rid of your iPhone. Just list it there for a fair price, give it a good desciption and add a lot of photos, and you should sell it very quickly. Since I don't know exactly what capacity or condition your iPhone 6s Plus is, I can't tell you how much to sell it for. Sprint phones tend to be the cheapest iPhones on the used market, and adding the fact it has a bad ESN, I would expect even less. A good estimate (again, can't be too precise as I don't know much about your iPhone) would be around $350–400 for the 16GB, $450-$500 for 64GB, and $500-$550 for the 128GB model. So I would sell it and get some substantial money out of it. Someone else will make use of it without cellular capability!

Can you get rid of a Bad ESN by unlocking an iPhone?

Can you get rid of a Bad ESN by unlocking an iPhone?
----------- this makes no sence

If an iPhone is unlocked, does it esn progress go with it??
----------- this makes no sence

& if not How can I check if an iPhone's ESN is bad or good if the phone is unlocked ?
----------- Unlock is a GSM term… BAD ESN is a CDMA… GSM and CDMA are like oil and water. The technologies cant be mixed… CDMA phones are not locked. Only GSM phones are locked by the carriers… moreover, GSM phones have no ESN #. Rather, they have IMEIs. Only CDMA phones have ESNs.

Therefore, the statement “cant unlocking a phone get rid of the BAD ESN” is illogical and makes no technological sense.

IF this is a Sprin/Verizon/Altell/Virgin Mobil/Circket/MetroPCS CDMA Iphone 4/4s/5, then it is CMDA and has an ESN… It is not locked. CDMA carriers control ESNs. There is no hack other than bribing a store agent or hacking into the carrier’s billing system…. LMAO… no joke… Once the carrier freezes the ESN, making it BAD, cause you failed to meet contract obligation or pay the bill on time, then the ESN is BAD and cannot be flashed to any other CDMA carrier on planet Earth. Again, there is no hack… and since CDMA phones do not have GSM radios, they cant work on GSM carriers… this is why BAD ESN phones are the # 1 scam on ebay and craigslist…. And nothing more than a expensive paperweight…..

If this is an ATT/Tmobile/Straight Talk GSM Iphone 4/4s/5, then it is GSM and has an IMEI… It is locked. GSM carriers do not control the IMEI. They only control the SIM card. All you need to do is unlock the phone via subsidy device unlock code or hack unlock it. Once unlocked, any SIM card on earth will work in it, regardless of your contract obligations or ability to pay the bill on time….. moreover, GSM don’t work on CMDA cause GSM phone have no CDMA radio….

So… like I said, your question makes no sense……….. you either have a CDMA Iphone or a GSM Iphone..
