My braces bracket fell off. What do I do?
Put it in a baggie and go to your orthodontist ASAP. I don;t think he/she will be mad, but he/she may offer you advice or mildly scold you. Good luck!

Oh that happened to me. And no! Do not take your wire out yourself. First, keep the bracket in a safe place. Call and make an appointment for when she gets back. Try to fold the wire over, or put it into a spot that isn't terribly uncomfortable. Maybe even try to stick it into a different bracket for a few days. Or try wax on the wire. If it is really bothering you call a different orthodontist to help you. I hope I helped. :]
Okay my damon braces bracket fell off?
okay i was having chips and i know i shouldnt have been eating them but still..then one of my brackets fell off..well it didnt actually fell off..it came out of its position and now it is hanging by the wire..and i phoned my ortho and he has fixed an appmnt. tommrow...now until tmrw what should i do please help me ..its my 4th month running so iam not sure how to handle such a situation
My bracket for my braces fell off my tooth, but still on the wire?
What should I do, its christmas eve and I cant go back to the ortho until monday. This is the second time this week it came off. Its only the same tooth, the one where i had my crown. The ortho told me the 3rd time he would have to use a band. I don't get why he just didn't put it on that day it fell off..Anyways what should I do until monday? can i eat normally even though its on the wire but not on my tooth?

It depends. If early in your treatment when a lot of movement is being done there can be a greater chance of relapse or movement back to where the tooth came from. If later in treatment and the teeth are already in good alignment for a long time then the chance of relapse is lower. In my office it will take 1–2 weeks after braces come off to deliver a retainer and a large majority of my patients have no tooth movement. Let’s say for the most part that the chance of a tooth moving is slim but since you are still in treatment, if it moves we just straighten back out again. No big deal.

Definitely! I couldn't resist the temptation of eating food on their "do not eat" list...and ended up having a wire pop out of a bracket. I called and went in to have it fixed. The reason your tooth is hurting is probably because it's really sensitive; there's nerves in your teeth that hurt extremely terribly, hence why it's so important to care for them. Act now!

My brace bracket fell off right in the will they redo the wire or push it back into place?
my bracet came off and im scared they will just reattach it and push it into place what will hurt alot? but i hope they will take the wire off up to that tooth and rethread the wire please help and tell me what they do???

I was sitting down when the backet right at the back of my mouth fell off while still being attached to my wire. I was wondering what to do as we don't go home for 9 days and I don't know if Greek orthodontists will be able to glue it back on. Also, how common is it for brackets to come off?
