Woke Up Extremely Dizzy Heart Racing Hot At Couldn

When I get out of the bath I get tired & my heart is racing?

Sounds like the water is too hot! I like to keep a bottle of water next to the tub to drink. And when you're ready to get out, stand up slowly, not too fast.

Im feeling sick, faint and im very hot with my heart racing whats wrong with me?

Sounds like heat stroke - have you been working outside? If it is then you may be in some danger.

In certain places I get headaches, feel hot and dizzy and can’t really focus on things. What could be behind this?

It could be a lot of things! As someone pointed out, it could be a concussion, it could be a migraine, it could be a cluster headache, it could be an anxiety attack….you see, there are so many things that causes dizziness including heat prostration! Fibro doesn’t allow focus, nor does acute pain of any kind. So really what you need to do is please go to a physician and find out what it could be! Then we can begin to sort out how you can deal with it. But you’ve got to get this diagnosed. I am sorry to be vague myself. Please seek proper medical help, my best.

Fast heartbeat, dizziness, and head feels hot?

So, today I was sitting in class, and suddenly my heart started to beat fast. I could feel it beating, without touching my chest. Then I started to get dizzy, and my head felt really hot. My forehead was a little sweaty also. I tried talking to my friend to make it look like nothing was wrong, but my hearing was weird. After about 30 seconds, I went to get water and it stopped after. What was that?

Sometimes I get heart palpitations when taking a really hot shower or getting out of bed really quick.?

Please dont take advice from someone that cannot spell blood "vessel" or who thinks you can diagnose MVP from a stress test.

When you are in a hot shower your blood vessels dilate which decrease venous return of blood to your heart, when your heart senses this it increases its rate to mainatain your blood pressure at a constant number. Same thing when you get up after lying or sitting, blood has pooled in your extremities and your heart sees less blood return for a short period of time which in turn stimulates your heart rate. Some people even get dizzy during these episodes. Some people also have an exagerated response which speeds up their heart rate too much and they can pass out from this.

Take less hot showers as you dont want to pass out in the shower and get up slowly from bed,sit for a minute or two, then get up. If you are taking a diuretic medication then this can also be contrinuting to your symptoms.

If symptoms persist go to a cardiologist and they will consider ordering a Tilt Table Test where they check your vital signs at various degrees of inclination, if it is positive they might treat you with a special type of medication called a beta-blocker with Instrinsic Sympathomemetic Activity.

Chest pain then random dizziness and pounding heart and feeling uneasy?

A couple of things about your post. If your chest hurts when you inhale, this is usually muscular in origin and taking some motrin regularly for about a week may make this go away. It comes from inflamed muscles in your chest wall from repetitive movements that you do with your arms such as physical exercise, something you do at work or lifting. Next, about your heart pounding when you lie down - have you learned how to check your own pulse to see what your heart rate might be at this time. If it is over 120, then there may be a problem. As for the Holter Monitor - unless you have one of these episodes while you are wearing the monitor, they would be unable to capture any irregularity/fast heart rate so, since it is negative this time, still doesn't mean that nothing is happening. And, since this is occuring more frequently now, anxiety could be a component to this - wondering each night if this is going to happen again which can bring on the symptoms. You might consider a trial of an anti-anxiety medication, just to see if it makes your symptoms go away. It takes an average of 12 weeks for these medications to work and be fully effective. If you see no change after a few months (past the 12 week period), you can talk with your doctor about weaning back off this med. Go to WebMd.com and type in anxiety attack and panic attack (both have similar symptoms) and read up on what it can do to the body as far as symptoms go. And finally, continue working with your doctor to get this resolved.

Symptoms? dizziness, hot flashes/heat intolerance, increased heart rate?

So Ive been having these weird symptoms every few months for the past 1-2 years. They usually only last about a week then leave.

When I stand up, I get extremely dizzy. (Happens times other than standing up too)
My heart rate increases to where I feel it pounding in my chest and is alittle difficult to catch my breath.(Like after you run)
Just standing around the house has this happening.....
Right after the racing heart which lasts about 5 min, I feel really hot & cant cool myself down. ( Im usually FREEZING COLD most of the time, so this is very odd) & then I get really tired.

Im 18, not prego (most of the answers come up with that), dont drink/smoke.
Anyone have an idea what this is?
Thanks!

Why do I feel dizzy after having salt?

If you have high blood pressure, you should not be consuming a lot of salt, in fact, you should probably stay away from salt. That raises your bp so if yours is already high, then you are making it worst by eating more salt. Also too much salt can absorb the water in your body making you dyhydrated that could be why you feel dizzy. Start eating food without salt, it's possible, I stoppted taking in salt years ago when I learn it was very bad for you, and I feel so much better. Even though there are some foods that will have salt, but it will ot be like you adding salt, and as you cook it, most of the salt will cook off. You are making your meds work against you when you intake too much salt, you need to cut bad, seriously.

Dizziness; hot flashes; feeling faint; nausea; does anybody have an ANSWER PLEASE ?!?!?!?

The symptoms you describe are the same as for menopause. However, at 14 you're just a bit early for that, right? As tentative speculation, it sounds like the hormones that trigger the development of your reproductive functions are in "stop-and-go" mode, and have not yet fully "kicked in". Talk to your family doctor about it, and if they are open-minded enough to actually listen to your concerns (some are, some aren't), your parents.

There's a good possibility that your doctor may prescribe birth control pills, not as a method of contraception as much as a way to help you stabilize your menstrual cycles until they stabilize themselves.

It's either that, or tough it out until Mother Nature gets her sh*t together and remembers where she put it!
