What does LTZ stand for, on the back of cars and trucks?

Not sure how we got talking about fords and whatnot. … but there's a bit of incorrect info here. So let's straighten some things out. Barring special editions, it's basically 3 different trim levels. I do not recall the “L” designation, but “S” is a level above base model, usually with cloth interior, but some upgraded features. “T” is the highest standard trim level, basically matching that of a cadillac. “Z” is SPECIFICALLY a performance upgrade. Z71, Z24, Z28, etc. 71, fullsize, off road package. Wheel flares, nerf bars, 4wd, lighting, and sometimes other upgrades, like skid plates, lift, lsd/lock, and so on.. 2’s are sport performance, with the engine to match. You can get all z packages in base trim, and even further stripped down. For instance, a true Z28 doesn't even have a radio, sound deadening or power door/seats.

How do you hook up car subwoofers without an amplifier?

Dude, you don’t. The subwoofers usually have 10″ cones and massive magnets to get all the surface area moving. You need some serious power to drive that and you will need at least 1,000 watts of power to drive your system and perhaps even multiple amplifiers with crossovers to optimize the sound.

How do you bypass the stock bose amp in a 2004 suburban with onstar?

My radio went out and i have a new jvc player to replace it but when i tried to hook it up using the diagram from other sites i get no sound out of the speakers. Thats when i found the bose amp and now im trying to bypass it. Have anyone had any luck doing so without paying 150 and up for a single plug. I know it should be a way to take the amp out of the loop of things just don't know how yet.

Bypass my bose amp?

I have a 2000 bonneville SSEI w/ Bose
I took my car to the local audio shop and this is what i was told to do and it works wonderful.

If you can tap into your speaker wires in the rear you can hook up a line level converter($10) from those speakers and hook your RCA cable up to that converter then to your amp. Questions please ask, I had a tough time myself so i know what your going through!:)

As the guy stated before me, my information is not what you need if you ARE trying to use a stock subwoofer

How do you fix a CD player in a car that keeps ejecting disks?

If you have never fixed any electronics, you probably don't. You are going to have to buy a new one. There's a chance that it's just a bad part, but the parts are probably not available. I have 25 years of electronics repair and I would just buy a new one.
