i'm 14, and i'm doing my room aswell, completly new everything, bed frame, doors, even a sofa! look on Gumtree, eBay, amazon and argos. very cheap websites, and you can find unique items! with the furniture, you can simply spray paint it to another colour. or, if you can, sell any extra storage tables(on eBay/Gumtree). you can even spray paint the sides of a mirror, curtain poles, and make your walls different by spray painting them yourself! get all the essentials first such as paint/wallpaper, curtains, bed sheets/pillows. one pot of white paint goes along way! you can paint your window sill, door, scerting boards and walls. firstly go through EVERYTHING you personally own. if you haven't used or worn it in a few weeks, sell it. i had to make a few tough decisions on shoes i loved! but i made money and i now don't miss them. ask to do carboot sales! very fun and you can find cheap items! they usually cost £1-2 per person, although you can make up to £100! don't go window/online shopping when you're saving up for something, you'll get tempted to buy it! don't buy food no matter how much you're craving them, you'll feel guilty! do odd jobs around the house, at your nans and you can get easy money, although it will only be a few quid here and there, it all adds up. never argue with your parents even if they're in the wrong, they can get in a bad mood. also try and reason with them. for example; would you pay half of -said item- please? or; would you pay for -said item- as you paid for my sisters? i really hoped i helped you. i know how fustrating this is! good luck
