5 Days Late Negative Pregnancy Test

Period is 5 days late, negative pregnancy test.?

You could be pregnant some women it takes them longer for there hormones to show they are pregnant I would way another 4 days then test an if still no period an negative test call doc for blood work good luck

8 Days late Negative pregnancy Test?

well the reason your second test that you took an hour later might have been negative is the fact that the urine you used was not as concentrated.
when testing in very early pregnancy it is recommended to use first morning urine and very sensitive home pregnancy tests (like the ones you can buy on earlypregnancytests.com or accessdiagnostics.com)

if fmu is not avail and you dont have tests at home, then try to avoid drinking loads of fluids as this dilutes your urine, and hold your urine for at least 3 hours before testing.

it is very likely that you are pregnant given how late your period is and that you had a faint test. try testing again in the mornign with a sensitive brand. perhaps check in with your doctor, they can test your blood.
I will save my congrats for when you post you BFP announcement after you test again!

good luck and baby dust

Two days late, two negative pregnancy tests. ?

Hey everyone! Now, I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I need some clarity for myself, if you know what I mean. I am 23 years old and engaged to an amazing man. We have been together for almost two years. We suffered a miscarriage last year(Feb. 07). With that pregnancy, I took the test early and it came back positive. One week later, it was over. So now that you have a little background 411 here is my situation. I am two days late. I was due for my period on August 19th. I have never been late, most of the time I'm a day ahead of schedule. My cycle is 29 days. For the last week or so, my breasts feel very sore, and almost heavy/full if that makes sense. I've also been using the bathroom a lot more, constipated, tired...and of course, I have a missed period. Now...I have taken two pregnancy tests. One I took on the 19th bc I noticed I didn't have cramps or anything...it came out negative. So, like the directions said, I waited until this morning. Well, actually I took it around 3 this morning bc I had to pee so bad and had already been asleep for a decent amount of time. Just like the other one, it was negative too. I know this is not my mind playing tricks on me bc I wasn't even thinking about the possibility of being/getting pregnant until I missed my period. Has this happened to anyone else and turned out you were pregnant?

5 days after missed period, but negative pregnancy test?

Right now my period is 5 days late. Which is weird because my period is always regular. The last time I had my period was Oct. 8th to Oct. 12th. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex on Oct. 15th, 18th, 20th, and 23rd. I was fertile from Oct 16th to Oct 22nd. I was suppose to have my period on Nov. 4th to Nov. 8th (sorry if it's too much information). I didn't notice that I was even late until sunday when I started to feel nauseous, so that night I took two pregnancy test and it said I was negative. The next morning I took another one for the morning pee and it also came out to be negative. This morning I took another one it was negative and my boyfriend wanted me to take another again and it also came out to be negative.

I honestly don't know what is wrong with me. I'm not stressed, having changed my diet and certainly haven't been exercising lately, so I don't know what's up.

Should I just wait another week to take another one if it turns out that my period doesn't show up for the rest of the week?

My period is 15 days late, I took a pregnancy test at day 7 and it is negative. Am I pregnant?

I heard from my health educator that any time really after a missed period, the test is real accurate. Also, I think if you took it a week (7 days) after your missed period and you weren’t experiencing any symptoms other than a missed period then its safe to say that you aren’t. Also, make sure that you are testing early in the morning when your urine is the most concentrated as that can definately increase the accuracy of the test. Good luck. Try to take one tomorrow morning if you are still worried. However, yeah, like I said, I called my health educator from Planned Parenthood the other day and they said that Home Pregnancy Tests are usually quite accurate from 1 week to two weeks after even!

I am six days late. Could I be pregnant? I took a test at 5 days late, but it was negative.

If the pregnancy test read negative, First above all, check the expiration date! Otherwise, I personally would trust that reading. But if you are concerned and want to be extra assured, I would take another. Here is the deal and why:Indicative markers are found in urine or blood, one being hCG, which basically comes from cells of a fertilized ova. hCG can ONLY be detected AFTER IMPLANTATION. So if women take a pregnancy test a little too early, meaning the fertilized egg has not yet implanted, a FALSE NEGATIVE pregnancy test will occur. Pregnancy can be detected 8 to 12 day after you ovulate which happens 2 weeks prior to you getting your period. If you are typically on a regular healthy 28 day cycle and you are late with your period, your chances of false negative get lower each day you are late.I hope this helps you!

My period is 17 days late, but my HPT are negative. Am I pregnant?

Some of the months where my symptoms were the strongest were actually the months I was not pregnant while TTC (trying to conceive). If you are 17 days late, it should be showing up on a pregnancy test, but you could have ovulated later than you thought.Symptoms are not enough alone, and there are plenty of reasons you can have a delayed period, one of which is actually that wanting to be pregnant can trick your body into pretending it is. Which is really just mean of it.I suggest testing again, and if you don’t get your BFP (big fat positive) on that test, go in to have a blood test. Make sure you ask for a quantitative test and not just a qualitative. A qualitative test will only come out positive or negative, the quantitative test, the one you want, will tell you precisely how much HCG is in your blood. This will give you an idea of what is happening. It will still give you a pregnant or not pregnant readout, but it will also help you see if you had a chemical pregnancy if the qualitative would have just said “not pregnant”. It helps you skip over the step of having another blood draw if you still do not get your period later on, and are just not pregnant, or it will set you up to expect either an end to your chemical pregnancy, an early miscarriage, or a successful pregnancy.

My period is 4 days late and i took a pregnancy test this afternoon it was negative?

i took a HPT today from boots at about 5.30pm and it came out negative. i am now in day 32 of my cycle, my cycles have never been longer than 30 days and are usually 28-29 days long.
i am quite worried i could be pregnant even though i had a negative test result because i read in other places that people have had false negatives even when their period was overdue (i didnt do it in the morning!)
i have been using natural family planning for a few months now (the standard days method) but i have also used the pull-out method on the "unsafe days". im worried maybe i got pregnant during those days or maybe i ovulated late this month making my cycle longer, which is bad too because if i go into day 33 of my cycle the standard days method is completely worthless.

i dont know what to do im really confused should i take another test or wait? and if it turns out im not pregnant do i go and see the doctor about being late or just wait for it to come?

How many days after a missed period, is a negative urine pregnancy test considered conclusive? At what point can I consider the negative result conclusive? Should I keep testing every morning? Do I need to get a blood hcg test?

I have tested 9 urine pregnancy test kits. All of them were negative, but I have missed 1 period and am pretty much late on the other. Could I be pregnant? You are not pregnant. It is that simple. How much money are you planning to waste on this? There are a variety of reasons for a period to be late. One of them is pregnancy. Others are being underweight, the hormone imbalances associated with being overweight, such as PCOS, or simply an anovulatory cycle this month. In order to menstruate, you must have ovulated two weeks previously. There is no way around it: no ovulation means no period.Eventually what your body will do is to begin the process of stimulating your ovary to produce another egg, to begin another cycle. The unruptured follicle, with the egg still inside, will remain on your ovary, eventually being reabsorbed. When your body starts to mature another egg, you will once again start getting menstrual cycles.Taking medication to induce your endometrium to bleed (not a true period, but medically-induced withdrawal bleeding) will not be helpful, since it will be acting only on your endometrium and nowhere else. The medication will not jump-start your pituitary to begin another cycle. The endometrium only does what the ovaries tell it to do, anyway.Once you have missed a period, you absolutely cannot say "I am pretty much late on the other." You are no longer in the cycle you were in before. Eventually, you will begin getting menstrual cycles again, and when you do, that will be your new cycle. In the meantime, there is nothing to do but wait. I realize that, since your string of negative pregnancy tests is about to reach double-digits, this might be difficult, but in the end, it is the best option for you.
