95 Mustang Gt 99 Mustang Gt Or Camaro Z28

1998 Mustang V6 VS........?

deffinately the buik but I wouldn;t count on the Dodge Ram, they have alot more torque than the V6 Mustang. I've raced one, it was close but no cigar. Im going to turbo my mustang though, its a '99 V6

Do you have any mods?

Mustang vs Camaro???

The new Camaro will beat the living HELL out of the new mustang. Camaro is way better. Don't hate since u have a mustang, get your @ss up and get that camaro.

P.S......and i don't care if the mustang has more popularity, even better, everyone has a mustang, it's better when not a lot of people have it. So BOO..YAAA! Camaro is the WINNER! The camaro ran over the mustang horse..lol

94 Mustang GT vs 99 Mustang GT?

Stock vs. the 99 GT is significantly faster. It has about 45 more HP, and shockingly, a slight torque advantage as well. The 99 GT will have a slightly shorter rear end ratio as well (3.08 for the 94 and 3.27 for the 99).

Christopher is full of misinformation unfortunately. The internals on the 2 valve PI mod motors are reliable up to about 450 RWHP. I have an 03 GT with a Kenne Bell supercharger. It's had the supercharger on for about 60k miles now, and I've had zero reliability issues. If Christopher is to believed, I should've broke a crank or broke a connecting rod right off the bat. Obviously that hasn't happened

Cars a stock camaro z28 can beat..?

It sounds like this is your first car... hmm... i'll just ignore that for now.

You didn't list a year, but i'm guessing it's a 93-97. So, expect mid-high 14s in the 1/4. Which is great for smoking most any v6 out there, but basically any v8 sports car since 95 will smoke you. The LT1 (93-97) camaro wasn't that hot, and the auto hurts it BADLY.

Expect to beat high-winged civics, auto camaros even older than yours, and stock v6ers.

Expect to lose to 93-up camaros with a stick, 98-up camaros regardless, any v8 mustang built since the 80s, any lightly modified v6 stick mustang or camaro. Also expect a drivers race (meaning the better driver wins) with RSXs, newer Civics (like 06+), etc.

What are some fast used cars I could get for under 6k?

Hmm... "fast" and "$6,000" can go together as long as you don't mind reaching back to the year 2000... or earlier.

Back in the old days, the fastest rides were the 1998+ Chevy Camaro and Pontiac Firebird (305 HP with the V8), though they were huge and ponderous and couldn't do much else right besides accelerate. http://vlane.com/specifications/1999/Chevrolet/Camaro/2dr-Cpe-Z28-specifications

The 1999+ Mustang GT was almost as fast (V8, 260 HP), and most people liked the look, the interior, and the more upright driving position more. http://vlane.com/specifications/1999/Ford/Mustang/2dr-Cpe-GT-specifications

On the Japanese side, the fastest cheap car was the 95-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX (the turbocharged, all-wheel-drive one with 210 HP). GSXs are pretty rare though. http://vlane.com/specifications/1999/Mitsubishi/Eclipse/3dr-Cpe-GSX-Turbo-Manual-AWD-specifications

FYI, all of those are gas guzzlers (20 MPG at most). If you can give up a little speed, you could pick up any Acura Integra GS-R (170 HP) and get almost 30 MPG, probably while having just as much fun. You have to know stick, though. http://vlane.com/specifications/1999/Acura/Integra-Coupe/GS-R-specifications

PS - There's a site where you can look for used cars while filtering for price, horsepower, etc. Check it out: http://vlane.com/vfinder

Does the lt4 engine fit in a z28 4 gen camaro?

Of course, the LT4 was built to be a direct replacement for the LT1. SLP built LT4 Camaros in 1997 which were sold at Chevrolet dealers.

How can I increase my Mustang horsepower?

Where DO these questions come from? Does it have a four six or eight cylinder engine? What year is it? What do you hope to get out of it, increase while? What’s your budget?Short answer… answer all those questions to yourself, research on ALL the Mustang forums you can find, and decide what to do. Not often do you get much return for what you spend. Possibly the best advice: stop looking for someone else to answer your questions. It’s your car and your money!

How could i convince my parents to let me get a mustang gt?

ok my parents want me to get our family's 4cy honda accord but i want to get a mustang gt. My parents keep telling me that i'm not getting a v8. Also my friend just got one but i know its not gonna help if i tell them that he just got one. So how do i convince them to let me get one? Also i'm not a crazy driver so dont be worried about that either.

Is a Ford Taurus sho faster than a ls1?

I don't know how fast the `11's are, but the `13 SHO runs a quarter in about 13.5, with a slightly weaker 0-60 time around 5.1-5.2.

A `00 Z28 will run 0-60 a little slower - 5.2 to 5.3, and match the SHO in the quarter - on STOCK tires.

You're talking about a WS6, which is a Pontiac version, which is slightly faster than both - supposedly the WS6 can break the 5 second barrier, with a quarter time the same as the Z28.

With the magnaflows alone, you should edge him out. With the drag radials, you'll more than match his awd's off-the-line time, although you didn't mention whether your WS6 is auto or manual - if its the manual, you'll have no problem on a quarter mile. Auto - I don't know considering the steep gears - I run lower ones and have no problem on UHP radials killing SHO's,but I don't know what the higher gears and drags will do to the top end speed/time.

He can brag about awd all he wants, but the problem with the sho's are this - the awd HURTS top end speed due to drivetrain losses - they're good off the line, but as soon as the traction advantage is lost, he's facing a lot of hp losses to the awd he no longer needs!

That, plus your WS6 weighs something like 3800 lbs. A SHO weighs OVER 4000 lbs, and is an aerodynamic brick compared to a fourth gen f-body.

All being said, this is truly a driver's race. I give you the advantage from the specs, but age of the car, and how well the mods are done, is a determining factor.

How much horsepower does a 2011 Camaro SS have?

Hello there,The 2011 Camaro SS (5th Generation) uses the LS3 6.2L V8 engine when combined with a manual transmission. It will produce upto 426 hp (318 kW) at 5,900 rpm and 420 lbf·ft (570 N·m) at 4,600 rpm. With the automatic transmission, GM uses the L99 variant and produces 400 hp (300 kW) at 5,900 rpm and 410 lbf·ft (560 N·m) at 4,300 rpm. This variant uses an active fuel management system that reduces to four cylinder operation during light, sustained loads. Cheers
