Whats your favorite part of thanksgiving

What's your favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal?

I don't have to work to pay for it, I don't have to shop for it, I don't have to cook it, I don't have to pick up after it.

Thanksgiving and Christmas are the only two days out of the year I don't have to supply a thing except my appetite.

Whats your favorite part of Thanksgiving?

Left overs,I took my family out one thanksgiving to eat in a fancy place and I have never repeated that mistake. We were all very unhappy because we had nothing to nibble on. You have a big meal with the family and then everyone gets to take something home for later.Just think of all the meals you can make with the left overs that you can't do because you have no turkey. We always buy the biggest turkey we can find.We are in our 70s and will contune this as long as we can and if the day ever comes that we cannot prepare the meal I will find someone who can.

He was in the wilderness in obedience to God, and He would not obtain food by following the suggestions of Satan. In the presence of the witnessing universe, He testified that it is a less calamity to suffer whatever may befall than to depart in any manner from the will of God.Desire of Ages
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
