How does a 13 year old make money fast?!?
I am a thirteen year old girl who only has $5 dollars and needs money quickly. School starts in 3 weeks and I wanted to buy some of my own school clothes since me and my mm's sense of fasion are different. Any ways that I can make fast and quick money. There are no kids in my neighborhood to babysit, my parents dn't know anyone in the neighbor hood so they won't let me do any type of work for anyone, we have a mailman for newspapers, my parents already give me $10 allowance each week and will not raise it, I can't get a job, and I already had a yard sale (that wasn't succesful). I'm going to take some of my old clothes to a consignment shop so I can't do that. I've ran out of ideas and I really need help! Oh yeah, if you give me one of those websites where u make money, please let it be quick, easy, and not a scam.
How can a 13 year old gamer make money?
Alex, I apologize for the long wait for my answer but I wanted to get it right. You're going to have to do some legwork on this one. I researched this intensely and I found out that there are pre Apprentice programs for gamers that are under the age of 16. And as low as the age of 12. Apparently you guys between the ages of 12 and 16 or the ones that are out there kicking butt because you're playing them all the time. I mean the games. You are the guys that have the muscle memory built into your hands and into the proper ways of doing things that are getting these games to levels that they never anticipated. There are games out there right now that are so obsolete that they thought were the best games in the world and that's because you guys have superseded this to expectations that they never anticipated again. What I mean you have to do your leg work is the pre Apprentice programs are out there but when I contacted six of these companies I was told that I could not in any way shape or form put their names in this forum and the reason is they do not want their name solicited by a bunch of people calling and acting foolish. The way that the one gentleman said to me was if you have a 13 year old kid that's out there that's asking this question then he must have some skills that we are looking for. But again you are bound by law that you cannot put our name on the website because we are not giving you permission to do so. This is an active program that we are seeking for this pre-apprentice candidates to play games and help us to design these games and if we were to advertise in an inappropriate place then things could go very badly for a company and we do not want that. So Alex I'm telling you go out there and start knocking on doors and what I mean by that is start emailing these companies and letting them know what your interests are and to ask about specifically a pre-apprentice candidate program that is right for you. Like I said to you earlier there are six of them that I found right off without even knowing exactly what I'm doing about this but I wasn't just going to give you an answer of I don't know. I started my own biz at age 11--I lived in a large apt. complex, which was quite convenient, but you could work a 3 block radius around your home. Advertise yourself as a Mother's helper & child caregiver/play partner. This covers many bases, and will provide you with great experience to grow with. Make a nice flier you can hand out to your neighbors...even those without children...senior citizens need helpers, too, or they may know someone who could use your services. As a Mother's helper, you could assist with laundry, light cleaning, ironing, yard work, & keeping her children occupied while she is shopping, etc...be flexible, and $2-3/hr. is not unreasonable to request...work this out with each Mom. Keep a notebook of names, addresses, & phone numbers of your clients and include what you generally do for them & for what price. Have a schedule planner so you don't get mixed up with where you are working on any given day...make those books handy to your folks so they know where you are & can get a hold of you if needed. Do your best at whatever job is handed to you...even if it's to clean the bathroom...do your best--make things sparkle...be genuine to the children--never turn your focus from them...make good friends of them so they always ask Mom for you when someone is needed...look for ways you can help out the Mom other than what is planned, like when there's adult company coming over, or a b-day party you could assist with...keep notes on those birthday dates in your book so you can add your own touch for the kids. If you make enough just to buy your own yearbook, pay for your activities, an outfit or sneakers here & there, or even a few of your lunches at school, you will be helping your folks, too. What should a 13 year old boy spend money on?
Well I'm 13 years old, and over the past year or so i've been doing a lot of work for neighbors/people and have been able to gather about $800 altogether. Half the fun has been saving up all the money but now I'm wondering whether or not I even Will spend it..After all I know i'd love to have the extra cash in college/highschool.. I wanted to buy a good computer at first but now I'm not sure,.. if I get no good ideas I'm putting it in a college fund, please don't lecture me on how i shouldn't have this much money at this age because i did put well over a hundred hours into it instead of playing video games or something else.. so any ideas? or should i save it?

Hi, we just had a garage sale and i made over 230 dollars selling my stuff. My mom says she owes me over 800 dollars form my previous bank account... so that give me about 1,000 dollars in the bank. :) I want to save this money so i can use it for something special one day, but i have to problems. 1) I don't know how to save money efficiently, and suggestions? 2)What should i save for? Should i just save my cash, or should i save to buy something? As a 13 year old who loves baking, how can I earn money?
I would write a short cookbook of your favorite recipes with an explanation of how a 13 year old copes with baking with a hot oven, adult supervision, any fun tips you have about what you do in the kitchen. Add some personal stories and maybe pictures. Print it out and sell it to people you know at school, or make your parents sell it at work.I suggest this because you can do all the work at once but still have something you can reproduce and sell over and over again. When you are done maybe one of your parents can help you market it on the web, or call the local news and get people interested in what you have done. This also gets you around any city laws about selling food cooked at home, which there are many. Self publishing through Amazon is also possible and you will get a copy of your very own book in a real book form. Be creative and don't forget to learn about marketing your product and yourself. Then you will be far ahead in life then a lot of adults.
How much money should a 13 year old have in her bank account?
I'm a 13 year old girl (obviously) and I don't do any type of work. I do have a red cross certification for babysitting but there are no kids around my area to babysit. I am in 4h and sell market chickens and put most of that in the bank. Anyways, you know how you can put your change in a machine and you get money? I did that at the bank and they gave me a slip which said the change I got but also said my account balance which was a little over 18,000. Is this a good amount for my age?
