Sharp pain in right side, 28 weeks pregnant?

You didn't say WHERE on the right side. If it's down low, I'd say cramp or round ligament. If it's up high, under your ribs on the right side, you need to mention it to your doc because that could be gallbladder problems. Trust me - I had HORRIBLE attacks in my second pregnancy (but pushed through the attacks and they ended about a month after pregnancy and didn't come back) but had two friends who chose the surgery instead. If it is up high you need to avoid fatty and spicy foods, excess milk products and drink LOTS of water to keep your organs flushing. Actually, the lots of water should help if it's just regular cramping anyway... Hope it doesn't happen to you again!

My wife has severe pain in left leg, can't stand, sleep or seat even. What is the remedy?

HiWell i am in no case a doctor but what i have read and would request you too to get clarified from the doctor, is that it seems like she has SCIATICA.This is a nerve that runs from lower vertribal column till the ends of small finger of your leg.If your wife has pain which is excruciating and is running from her lower back to the toe then this could be a case of sciatica. In this, when the sciatic nerve gets pressed in between the blocks of vertibral column, the blood circulation in the nerve stops and what ever blood remains keeps on moving between the contracted nerve. Where ever it stops, it pains.Usual points of pain are lower back, small finger and specially near the knee till calf or thigh.I know this because my father suffered from this for long and was painfull to see him in this state. It can not let you even sit or sleep easily. Even slightest move possibly leads to unbearable pain.If this is what it is, then i would suggest that pain killers are not a solution as most of them would be steroid based. This would further exaggerate the situation. Since we consulted a long list of doctors physicians naturopaths and accupressure specialists, what i could understand was that this pain can only be cured with little exercise (suggested by a good physician) and some accupressure (or puncture), heat and some natural treatments. SURGERY IS NOT SOLUTION.If you are in Delhi then there is a noted physician and specialist whom i know has treated such ailments.THis problem is wide growing and has become common amongts youngsters even. It mainly arises due to disc problem which aggravates to these and many other complexities.I would still auggest that you get this confirmed.I can provide you with contact details if you can drop some comment about it.Wish your wife healthy speedy recovery.Edit 1I read what saurabh wrote and yes would suggest that strictly avoid exercising like bending, leaning driving, sitting too long, lofiting weight like buckets etc coz these would worsen the situation.I am not sure about the medicines he has mentioned but you can definitely seek for such solutions since they are natural and have least poaaible side effects. Since saurabh has bitter expereince of pain, his insights on cure are surely valuable.

Why do I get extreme lower back pain when laying on my side?

Does pain in left hand ring finger mean something?

Aside from the other answers, are you experiencing any numbness or tenderness in your forearm muscles/tendons connected to ring finger? A chronic nerve impingement in your neck (ruptured or degenerative disk, etc) can manifest its effect as pain, numbness, or weakness that translates down from your neck, through your shoulder and rotator cuff and down your arm to your fingers. Of the various symptoms that I mentioned, weakness is probably the most serious and likely merits a trip to the doc. Hopefully, it’s just an acute condition/local injury of some sort.

Pain in right side of mons pubis during pregnancy?

Definitely ask your Doctor about it. It could just be ligament pain, your baby is growing an awful lot, very quickly which puts strain on your body. Or it could possibly be SPD, which is your body producing too much of the hormone Relaxin causing your pubic bone to soften too early.

Neither of the above problems are anything to worry too much about. If it could be SPD, your doctor will pass you over to a physiotherapist who will show you some exercises to do and tell you how you can make life a little bit more comfortable (it can be very painful). You may also be given a support belt to wear.

If it is SPD, feel free to add me. I've suffered badly from it from 16 weeks onwards and have found lots of little tricks to make life easier. I won't put them here because it would take far too long, but if they might help make your life a little easier; just let me know.

Good luck!

Lower back pains so bad i can't sleep help?

You pinched a muscle in your back to get those pains and it's so easy to get them pinched, like twisting your body just right at the right time, and stuff like that that it is hard to know why it happened. What isn't hard to know is how to get rid of the pain, for that you have to release the tight muscles and that requires you to release the muscles in your back. Here's how to release them to get rid of the pain:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly press on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
