A Certain Animation Movie.

Why can’t I buy certain Disney classic animated movies in the US? I can’t purchase a new version (either online or even DVD) of Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Aladdin, or the Little Mermaid. Why wouldn’t Disney want to sell them anywhere?

According to Robyn Miller, who previously served as Head of Product Development for Disney's home video division (Buena Vista Home Entertainment), the "vault" marketing campaign is all about younger generations, and not just as a tactic to make consumers feel like they have to buy it now before it's gone forever."The videos come out of the vault approximately every seven years so that new generations of two to seven-years-old can enjoy the films. It's Disney's way of making sure classics like Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and Cinderella don't go forgotten, because that would actually be a travesty. And in case you were wondering, this is the list of main Disney "classics" that come in and out of the vault:•Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs •Pinocchio •Fantasia •Dumbo•Bambi •Cinderella •Alice in Wonderland •Peter Pan •Lady and the Tramp •Sleeping Beauty •One Hundred and One Dalmatians •The Jungle Book •The Little Mermaid •Beauty and the Beast •Aladdin•The Lion King

What is the watch order for all the movies in the DC animated movie verse?

I want to watch/rewatch all the movies in the DC animated universe, but I'm not certain what order I should watch them in. I'm also pretty sure that I haven't seen them all and can't find a good list of them online. I'm referring to the universe that includes the movies Flashpoint Paradox, Justice League War, Son of Batman, Teen Titians Judas Contract, etc.

Were the six packs in the movie 300 animated?

I'm pretty sure they were real...to a certain extent.

What makes an animated show/movie mature?

Well there's the obvious ones like sex/drugs/violence/death etc. You won't see any cartoons on disney with these kind of themes.

Then of course there is the deeper story lines.
e.g - look at Scooby Doo. It doesn't exactly take much brain power to figure it out. However with most anime there is a progressive, immersible storyline. (really depends on what your watching though)

Also there is character development. You generally don't see that in western cartoons.
