I would suggest larger fund towards expanding the MRT & LRT which includes no more going out of the station to get a connecting ride to a different MRT or LRT line. Have the government own all public transportation or private companies. So we can be like HongKong & Singapore. Where HongKong has their popular Octupus card that allows them to board MRT & Buses using that card which is preloaded with your desired amount but there's a minimum load. You can also use it to purchase in groceries, certain fast food like Cafe de Coral. In Singapore its the SMRT card, which functions the same as HK's Octupus card. In Singapore, you can even personalize your SMRT card. Both countries' public transportation system also implement discipline to those people in that country. And this would allow tourist for better experience when they are having a vacation here. With the expansion of both lines, people will be more encourage to ride public transpo than worry about where to park their car. And a reason why these countries have less cars on the street because getting a plate is way more expensive than the car.
