Is it ok for a 16 year old male to be water fasting?

I wouldn't recommend water fasting. It's not good, and you probably won't keep the weight off. You should stick to clean foods like fruit, vegetables, lean meats and seafood.

You should then supplement your diet with some form of exercise (jogging, team sports, weight lifting or something like HIIT). There are plenty of diet plans and fitness schedules out there.

Food is just as important to any diet as exercise. You need to look at both if you want to lose weight safely.

Is 48 hour water only fasting on a weekly basis healthy?

Water fasting is probably the most effective method of healing. Although, i do not recommend to anyone to water fast without being supervised by a professional. If you omit to do tests before, to know if your organs are ready for a fast, it can be dangerous. And, you want to make sure you do not have any deficiency. Here is a video with 2 doctors i really like who talk about water fasting: is fasting healthyI do not know what you are looking to get from water fasting for 48 hours per week? are you sick? is it for weight loss? self purification? i don’t know so it’s hard for me to comment on this. there are benefits from doing that, for sure. Neuroscientists talk about it. watch this.But if it’s for purification, healing a disease of weight loss, i would probably choose a different approach. I would prefer to do a 7–14 day cleanse and get it over with. the true healing happens after 3–5 days of fasting anyway. It’s like you’re always starting the healing process, but always start it over before it even begins…. I see the miracles at the end of a week. this is when the intestinal walls loosens up and let go of all the crap that has accumulated for years. this is when i see all the worms coming out. This is when people actually stop having pain and inflammation. as for the weight loss, day 1–2 its only water and stools that you are loosing. its after 48 hours of fasting that your body goes into ketosis (produces ketones while burning fat cells to feed the brain) and that true weight loss happens…so i hope i answered your question, even if i did not really know what your intention is…

After reading about water fasting and how it improved your health I decided to give it a try.I fasted for twenty days, and this is my experience.First day was rather easy, as in used to skip breakfast, and sometimes lunch. Cook them a BLT, chorizo bread and cheese, the same, also for my weekend BBQ, I still did them, but “eat” water, while my friends enjoyed the meat and beer.Two weekends I did that, while Mon to Fri I was really busy, and I took a nap while the family ate, other than that, I think hunger wasn't showing.On the scale, I lost like 30 pounds, but regained 8 in the first 3 days, water, poop and a working intestine does that.What the watt fasting really does to your bodyand mind is amazing, I.got my cholesterol levels from dangerously high ( over 400) down to 140. My triglycerides from a whopping 1300 to 130. Also prongs now are reasonable, completely changed my point of view for snacks, sodas, chips, and other junk food.I think I'll do another fast pretty soon.

Water fasting for 30 days? How much weight loss?

there are lot of benefits to water fasting, including weight loss. But you should not focus on the weight loss, but the health benefits. If you are overweight more than 60 pounds you can do 40 days water fast, you could lose around 50 pounds, no you will not die. But i suggest if your fasting for the first time, to do a juice fast or a short 10 days fast and gradually increase you days. check out curezone.com join the fasting support forum. Fasting is actually good for you. you should not drink 2 litres of water, you should only drink according to thirst, I can write a whole essay about why fasting is good, but its better if you join curezone and do some research to do fasting the healthy way. You have to do a post fast before you start fasting. the main concern about fasting, is how you break the fast. The way you break your fast is very important.

Weight loss water fasting for 40 days?

this would mean only drinking water for 40 days.
please don't tell me its unhealthy, because i have read up on it alot, at it seems to actually be very good for peoples health.
the only problem is i couldn't find ANYWHERE that said how much weight you would lose?
i'm 5'3, female and 126 lbs. how much do you think i would lose? thanks.
