What's a good thesis statement for Human Trafficking?

How about something like, "Human trafficking is one of the most widespread human rights violations in the twenty-first century"?

Human Trafficking Thesis Statement!?

Can you please tell me if this a good thesis statement for my 10 page paper on Human Trafficking.

Throughout the world, there is one illegal business that makes $5 - $9 billion dollar revenue and that business is the illegal act of human trafficking. Human trafficking is a modern form of slavery through sexual exploitation which is not only limited to women but men and children as well. Since this issue has often been ignored in many countries it has been spreading rapidly. Many organizations such as the United Nations, have been raising awareness and trying to put an end to the fastest growing criminal industry in the world. Women, men, girls, and boys are forced into hard labor and/or prostitution/sexual exploitation in the trafficking ring. This is an epidemic problem that many countries are faced with. People believe that this industry is just limited to poor countries, which is false, gang controlled areas in the world run this trafficking ring. Rich families are usually the ones behind human trafficking, this causes many problems because these families can just pay off cops. Human trafficking is much more than just forcing men and women into these acts of slavery, the people who are being coerced and forced remain emotionally scarred and unstable. Human trafficking is a global issue , in which many governments in the world are trying to put an end to. This is a difficult task for the organizations and governments trying to stop it because it has become so widespread. The trafficking ring is increasing quickly as each day more people are trafficked and more sexual exploitation occurs. Increasing awareness and having victims speak out will truly help end this sick industy.

How can I build a great thesis statement on human trafficking?

Two excellent answers were provided to the original question (See Susan and Randy answers) - I suggest a slightly different direction, one which I have been pondering for a good many years as I do my part to counter human trafficking and sex trafficking. The trafficking is not limited to sex trafficking, though that is the most salacious.In the United States there are literally hundreds of organizations which are raising money, cajoling volunteers and working hard to address the multiple sides of Human Trafficking. I have observed the great duplication of effort, resources and burnout. There are a few large organizations, which seem to have reached the point of sustained existence and they each have their own swim lanes (Polaris Project, Shared Hope International and International Justice Ministry are three examples.)Perhaps a look at how much more effective the many small community and homegrown efforts would be if they consolidated resources, thought on a larger scale and operated on a local scale. Would the hundreds become more effective? Would the hundreds hunker-down and scoff at the idea of collaboration and cooperation as it wasn’t invented here?Good luck with the thesis, and keep us in the loop on what you choose!

What is a good thesis on human trafficking?

You might want to find a point to persuade others on. For example, (1) we should make people more aware of how common it is, (2) the u.s. needs a program to educate citizens on the signs of human trafficking, (3) supporting prostitution often incidentally supports human trafficking, (4) or just persuade them that it is a serious problem with ethos, pathos, and logos. Start with either pathos or ethos. Describe what it is like, what happens to them, how they are a part of our lives. Intrigue and frighten people by telling them how most people become trafficked, where they go, and what they do. Then go on to logos and describe the numbers, how common it is, and how it is bad for society. Finally, present your concise ideas about what the solution is. Is it an ad campaign? Is it more education of the general public to stop it? Is it fighting the source? Is it combating illegal immigration?

Need help ASAP writing a thesis statement about human trafficking in the US?

Well not knowing what he totally wants I would guess he may want more of a opinion in there. Like saying that" The cruel acts of human trafficking is a troubling business and needs to be stop." He may want you to add some more things around the lines to that.

here something I was once taught about a good thesis. Good thesis statement will usually include the following four attributes: • take on a subject upon which reasonable people could disagree • deal with a subject that can be adequately treated given the nature of the assignment • express one main idea • assert your conclusions about a subject.

What thesis sentence can I use to start a human trafficking research?

“Is there ever a potential to end Human trafficking?”**Edited to include “” around the question I would start a thesis statement with.**That’s the only question that deserves a thesis statement to follow it. Base your thesis on that catalytic question.It might take you to positive answers for some region of the world, but negative answers for another. It may help you to realize potential for curbing one type of trafficking significantly (like for child labor for instance) but not another (the sex trade for instance). But in it, you can theorize and support your theory with available data, public information and existing solutions, regardless of which end of the spectrum it sits on.Answering this question is the only worthwhile way to approach human trafficking as a thesis challenge examination. After all, the people you will defend this thesis against, aren't asking for history, they are asking for capacity.Your capacity to defend is based on your journey taken while exploring a theory not otherwise already defined an resolved.

What is a thesis statement against African-American slavery prior to the Revolutionary War?

It’s difficult to write a logical thesis opposing the existence of reality. Slavery was a fact. One may write a thesis regarding the morality, but only using the morality of modern people. At the time, it was considered both legal and moral, if distasteful.Slavery has been part of the human condition since Ogg first noticed he was bigger and stronger than Nogg. Slavery is still practiced in Africa and several Muslim countries. White slavery, AKA human trafficking, AKA organized prostitution, is still practiced everywhere in the world. The strong will always seek to overpower and abuse the weak for pleasure and profit. 238 arrested in sweep of suspected child sex predators

American dream thesis statement help?

AWESOME job!

Why not go further? If you want grab someone by their American pride's "emotional handles." Carefully use some descriptive emotional adjectives, which will really press your point on a dream being realized.

Mine would be along the lines of the following:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The reality of the American Dream is the essence of most all American icons, and achieving the American Dream is the quintessential aspiration of both American and immigrant alike. Some would say the American Dream consist only of being able to buy and own a home, but it is so much more! "The American Dream is really so named due to the opportunity, which seemingly exist only here in America, for an ambitious person to be able to be an outstanding success through his or her own hard work and determination." People strive to achieve their own dream. Some people, already here in America, chase their dream by wanting to be more successful than their parents, and others who immigrate to this country chase their dream by giving up everything just to get here and have the opportunity to succeed.

(Thesis statement in quotations.)
++++++++++++++++++++

based on your thesis and opening, I would then go on to explain the specific events and or accomplishments that define having achieved the American Dream. Please don't stop at just "owning a home." The American Dream is so much more.

Kistofer P has some great ideas to utilize as you get in the body of the essay as well. I think you will knock this one out of the park as you have a great start!!

Hope this helps. Have fun.
