A Guy Called Me A Painted House What

What is this "Judy Law" painting called?

She seems to be a Mormon artist from Springville, Utah, specialized in religious subjects.

Mention of her at an event at the Springville Museum of Art in Utah:
“On December 4 audiences will learn about painting and pastels from artist Judy Law. Following her remarks the Springville High School Handbell Chorus will perform a medley of seasonal songs.”

Here there is one of her paintings (about mid-page: scroll down to “Judy Law”; the caption says:
“‘Sanctify to Thee Thy Deepest Distress,’ by Judy Law of Springville, Utah—which won an Award of Merit—explores our earthly sufferings. “Mortality brings pain. But we live beyond earth life, and we are not alone and forgotten in our struggles and suffering here. Our loving Heavenly Father cares for us and sustains us. He will send strength, comfort, and peace. One day He will turn our faith to wisdom, our challenges to blessings, our suffering to joy.”

A 14x20” print by her, called “Sanctify” (not shown), is mentioned here (an online Mormon shop):

And here:

it seems there was originally an illustration by her, called “And It Came to Pass Also That a New Star Did Appear”...
... which, it turns out, is probably the original (and original title) of the painting you have.
You can see it on page 13 of a pdf file called "December 2005 The Friend":

What was the painting on the wall in Lex Luthor's house in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice?

I hope you are asking about the painting behind him in the below image. What is the name of the painting behind Lex Luthor in Dawn of Justice while he is talking with the senator at his home? discusses the same and Prithviraj Samala's answer covers it:Being an artist myself i tried to find out about the painting. the painting maybe be fictional but draws an inspiration from "paradise lost-fallen angel" this painting depicts Lucifer falling from heaven to turn into the devil just like the reference from BvS Lex Luthor: Do you know the oldest lie in America, Senator? Devils don’t come from hell beneath us. They come from the sky.[SPOLIERS] [Batman v Superman] Painting in Lex's house • /r/FanTheories suggests that at the end of the film, the painting is flipped up side down to denote the devil coming from the sky. But it also shows the God coming from under the ground - Supes!PS In Batman v Superman, what did Lex Luthor want the painting upside- down? is an interesting read too.

If 10 painters can paint 8 houses in 7 days, then 6 painters can paint 13 houses in how many days?

In questions like these, the first thing that you should try to do is to find out the total amount of work in terms of Man-Days or try and figure out efficiency on a unit basis. In this question, we are given that 10 painters can paint 8 houses in 7 days. => 10*7 Painter-days are required for painting 8 houses=> 70/8 painter-days are required for each house. We need to paint 13 houses, so total amount of work to be done = 13*70/8 painter-days.We have 6 painters available. Time required = Work required / Resources available = (13*70/8) / 6 = 18.96 daysSo, it will take approximately 19 days to finish painting the houses.

Was this guy casing my house for a robbery?

Yesterday a man parked in front of our house (I'm a college kid that lives with my parents still) and then knocked at our front door. When we didn't answer, he then went into our backyard. It is a fenced yard with a gate. Also, our little dog often slips through the space in the gate so we have a piece of piping to block the opening. He opened the gate AND removed the piping. He then had a small notepad and was looking at our house and writing in our note pad. My parents both had no idea who the guy was. He was here for a half hour. My mom said he looked to be about a college-age guy and was wearing a CarHard (sp?) like a work men's type jacket.

Who was he? Do you think it was some type of mistake like a neighbor had hired him to give a painting estimate and he had the wrong address. It was a Saturday. We are worried wondering who this guy was.

My house got painted by mistake when my neighbors house should of been painted, he try to bill me $3,100.?

What a jerk. Tell him you will be suing him for trespassing and painting your house without your permission. He can't just go around painting houses. You would a lawsuit, including enough money to have someone else repaint it to your original color.

You have no liability to this guy at all.

You might want to call the DA too, report what this guy is doing, it could be a scam.

The guy that bought the house I'm renting is trying to illegally evict me and I don't know how I should handle it in Des Moines, IA.?

He apparently put a statement in the purchase agreement that the house had to be free of tenants on closing. But, no one ever talked to me about that. I have already applied for an apartment in wisconsin, but will not be moving for 3 months. There are 4 months left on my lease.

The first time I met him he was rude and demanded to know why I was still there and when I'd be moving. When I told him in a few months he got mad and said he'd give me a week.

Since then, he has filled the driveway and garage (which are included in my lease) with trucks, shingles and various construction stuff.

He tore down the fence that enclosed the backyard. Then I had to call the police when contractors showed up with keys to tear out the bathroom.

Today, apparently he decided to rip the carpet out and start painting. This was all unannounced. I have all the windows open because I can't breathe in here.

I would be agreeable to moving out, but no one will lease a place for just a few months. I offered to move into an extended stay if he paid for it and a storage unit for my furniture, but he won't agree to it.

I think I've been more than fair in dealing with him. And none of this is my fault. He just keeps telling me I can break the lease any time, but otherwise I have to deal with his renovations.
