Is the Nokia Lumia 521 a good phone?
Also how do you put music on it? I'm getting this phone Tuesday. I was wondering if this is a good phone and what your opinion is when you had it or if you have it now?

Hi Yasmin, 1. Make sure the phone is still off, remove the back cover, and then remove the battery. Then, reinsert the battery and replace the back cover. 2. Press and hold the power button, and see if it turns back on. 3. If it does not, insert your charging cable into the phone. Leave the device for ten minutes, then press and hold the power button again whilst on charge (Windows Phones cannot charge unless the device is on). go to settings (system), then cellular, then make sure data connection is turned on and also scroll down to highest connection speed and check that too. It's also possible your friend did nothing and you happen to be in an area that doesn't support higher speeds. Your phone will normally find the highest speed network available and maybe your carrier sucks. If the above simple settings don't do the trick, you may have to look into the access point setting and make sure its set to your carrier

If you change the theme, the tiles are going to change not the background. To change the background, go to settings - theme - background - change dark to light. OR!!! I think the high contrast is turned on. To turn off, go to settings - ease of access - high contrast - turn off.
