Acting Audition For Any Korean Company

What kpop company should I audition to?

Depends on what you value most:SM: Looks. “Talent can be made.” Training is very, very hard, but once you make it in, the possibility of you debuting is pretty good. It’s worth noting that the training is not like what EXO said. I doubt that they went through six years of training “happily.”JYP: More talent than looks. More well-rounded individuals, with the exception of Twice. Easier training than SM.YG: Talent. Personally, I would go with YG. I like their sound for girl groups more, and they actually value talent. Consistently produces great artists like 2ne1, Big Bang, Blackpink, Winner, etc. The only thing is, YG is slacking very, very hard right now.Cube: Talent. I guess….you could try it out, if you have faith in them? But honestly they don’t manage that well. 4Minute, Beast….well. Sorry.PLEDIS: If you want a terrible time in life, hardcore depression, and if you want yourself to be treated like shit, go for PLEDIS! Or go to college!Thoughts on which ones you should go for:SM: No, don’t do this to yourself. They don’t seem that open to foreigners, and the case of EXO-M speaks for itself. Yes, they’re getting better in accepting non-Korean people, but those people are still Asian. If you try, prepare for rejection.JYP: Uh….I’d say 50/50 on this. Not many thoughts on JYP other than “I don’t want to join a Twice 2.0.” They value talent more than SM and less than YG, but….YG: Is slacking. If he wasn’t so complacent right now, I would say go for YG. Just do it, I guess.Cube: Probably not unless you want to disband.PLEDIS: nope

Yg acting auditions? jyp auditions?

If you live in the states i'm pretty sure global aud. aren't open yet
most likely they will see it as an aud. for dancing
i wouldn't say easier for any it really depends on your acting and how well you are at it
thinking one company is easier than another isn't what you should consider. if you are confident in your acting then you will get in(:
im not sure if this guy was actually a trainee but it sounds about right
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBOtltTvVSQ
if you get in they will teach languages and some companies give the option of focusing on your career where others force you to go to school so the company will tell you
i would look up trainee life on google or something

Is Big Hit a good company to audition for?

Me, personally think it would be great to audition if you are a Male, But female not at all. If you are female and don't want to be in a mainstream company I recommend Pledis, Dreamt, Cube, or Loen. But BIGHIT ENT will be accepting for American trainees. Next time you want to apply (If you are a male) Change the language to English and you will see.Though they are focusing on BTS, They have another group called TXT (pre-debut name TWISTER) which is soon set to debut in the next 2 years or so (Debut Date: January 2019). There's a rumor that one of the trainees are an Asian-American (Heuning Kai, born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Father is Brazilian, Mother is South Korean). So please keep your hopes up!If you know Korean & English, they will be more likely to accept you because of your skills. For example:Jin: English, Chinese, KoreanNamjoon (Rap Monster): English, KoreanTaehyung (V): Learning English, Korean, JapaneseHoseok (J-Hope): A little English, KoreanJimin: KoreanJungkook: Learning English, KoreanSuga: Korean, JapaneseHeuning Kai: English, Korean, Thai, Chinese, and JapaneseSoobin: Korean, Japanese, and EnglishKeep in mind: If you can match the idol personality, Have strong metabolism, No Ilnesses, agree to wearing stage make up (And I stress, Korean STAGE MAKE UP I very difrent than American Stage make up. It envoles Eyliner, Concealer & Eyeshadow)Soon, fans can only hope though, for the day they accept female trainees. If you are a female and over the age of 18, I recommend you looking elsewhere because Bighits will not be interested in females for a while. Working for BTS full time and Preparing for female trainees will mean that they will need new staff and probably a new HQI Promise that if you work extra hard, BIGHIT will accept you.Fighting!

How should I tell my parents I want to audition to be in a Korean entertainment company?

I have been a fan of kpop for the last 3 years or so. Ever since I first heard the music I have been in love with the idea of becoming a kpop idol. I want to audition to be a trainee for jyp entertainment

I am 16 years old, am half Chinese and half White, am talented in acting, drama, the arts, and especially singing. I have been in elite singing groups throughout the east coast of America ever since I was a kid and am currently a member of one of the most talented mixed chorus groups with 40 members.

As far as looks go I am going to be honest here because I want honest feedback. I am pretty and I have been scouted to be a model about 8 times...i think....throughout my life at random locations. I am 5 foot 5 and I weigh about 140 pounds. I am not worried about my weight because when the time comes that is always something you can change with hard work.

What I am worried about is telling my parents about my dream. They obviously know that I enjoy singing and many other aspects of the performing arts but I don t think they ever thought that I would pursue it as a career, and especially not in a country that I have never been to or know the language fluently (yet). They are supportive of my sisters career to be a painter, which she is currently pursuing in college.

Thank you so much if you read all of this. I know this is really long and I really want honest feedback.

Can i audition for namoo actors in south korea?

Actors generally need to act. As long as you can act, and that does mean speaking the language of the market you're working in, you should be allowed to audition. I recommend you call the company you are interested in and ask about their audition process.

Do you have to speak Korean to do K-pop auditions?

If you’re going just for the experience of auditioning without any real intentions, then knowing polite greetings and some very basic conversation should be the absolute minimum. If you have any intention of actually trying to become a Kpop artist, you really should understand the culture and enough Korean to get by. If you get hunted for the audition, that’s different than you going out for one. Sometimes people are discovered, and the company can be willing to cover the cost of language lessons from beginner level. It’s not just about language. If you’re going into a Kpop audition, you need to really understand what your chances are like, and be truly qualified, because the competition is stiff. Unless you’re amazing with potential in multiple areas of talent, with the looks and personality to match your skills, and incredibly hardworking, with absolutely no letting up on your efforts, your chances are nil, even if you’re Korean born and raised in Korea. If you’re not in the demographic that the Korean entertainment companies are looking for, and you don’t understand the current market situation for Kpop, don’t have any expectations. Think of it as going for fun and maybe some feedback, if you have the time and resources to do so, but don’t expect anything much.

Do popular Korean actors or actresses still audition or do they get offers to do a role?

Depends on the following:A. The storyline is really good, and the actor/actress in question anticipates a big boost to their own popularity or adding a huge positive benefit to their image after starring it, then they would put themselves forward to compete to take this role.B. The producers/directors are famous/influential giving no doubt that the end-product will be of high-quality, hence many popular actors/actress are even willing to work for free/reduced pay especially if they have yet to work with the famous producer/director.At the end of the day, it depends on who needs who the most - the actor/actress wants this role badly or the producer/director sees this actor/actress having the best fit, and who is more influential and famous.

How can I audition to some entertainment company? Is it possible for me even if I am a Filipino?

You can audition by either:Going to their building/audition place (address is on website)Send an online application (instructions are all on their website)It’s possible, not likely. Unless you fit into their beauty standards (slim, pale, v-shaped face, etc), can speak/read/understand Korean at least half fluently, talented and passionate, can undergo harsh training and diets then sure chances are a little bit better. If not, ask yourself, “Why would they choose me when there are thousands of other girls who are actually Korean/speak Korean, talented, and visually pleasing?” My point is that you have to think realistic sometimes and that idol/trainee life isn’t all that glamorous, but hey it doesn’t hurt to audition! Good Luck!
