Also because they are easily typecasted and are not that demanding as well. The most successful bollywood actor has to be Shah Rukh Khan. To all those people who are saying Aamir Khan or Akshay Kumar or Salman Khan, you are only talking about current decade(2010–2016). In this decade also, Akshay Kumar has given a lot of flops. And Srk’s only flop movie this decade is Fan. Overall, Srk is way ahead of everyone else. He is the most consistent of all and the only actor who never went out of the top 3(Was number 1 in 90S and 2000S and is number 3 in this decade and I think from 2017–2018, he will regain the number 1 spot because of movies like Raees,Rehnuma and Anand L Rai’s next in which he plays a dwarf(This one will be huge I think))Shah Rukh Khan has the most number of hit films out of all the Khans, he has 24 overseas blockbusters out of 55 films(while Ajay has 0,Akshay has just 1,Salman 5 out of 44 and Aamir 5 out of 41)(Again just this decade). Salman and Aamir became superstars after 2010 while Shah Rukh Khan has been ruling since his debut. In 90S and 2000S, Shah Rukh Khan was on number one while Salman and Aamir were not consistent and were not even in top 5. He doesn't only talk he has always helped people in every way he could.When he came in ' Aap ki adalat' show, he received standing ovation from audience. The anchor mentioned that during all these years he is the first guest who has received standing ovation from audience. People of India love him.He lives at his farm near Pune when he is not working. In an interview with IBN7 Channel "The great bhet with nana patekar" you will see him greeting random villager in his village. He knows their names. He does not live like a celebrity.He likes to cook, eats on the floor with hands. I have never seen any celebrity who lives like this.
