Why are a number of my folders/notes missing in Yahoo Notepad?
I just logged in and needed to read something I had there. It was there a couple of weeks ago when I last read it and now it's gone along with a bunch of other notes I had there. No one has access to my password so that's not it and my account has not been deleted, I'm using it right now. And no, I didn't delete them either. While on this subject, I'd like to add that the "new and updated version" of Notepad sucks. Everything is now organized in alphabetical order and I don't even have a choice on how to organize folders. It used to be in the order the note was created and more of the subject/content was viewable, unlike now. I messaged Yahoo asking for help and suggested putting out a survey for users to voice their concerns. I sure hope Yahoo can fix whatever glitch it is. I have some important notes there that mean a lot to me.
How can I sort my notes within folders using the new yahoo notepad?

It is mind-boggling how they decide to answer whatever questions they want, not what the user actually is asking. I will paste their attempts below: ATTEMPT#1: I understand you want to set the notes in the alphabetically order. Every time you create a note, you choose a folder where you're going to put it and then you choose a Title for the note. For your convenience, folders are listed in alphabetical order on the left side of Yahoo! Notepad. Note: To create a new folder, click "Add Folder" in the upper-left corner of the Yahoo! Notepad page. Then, type a name for the folder and click "Save." Thank you again for contacting Yahoo! Notepad. ATTEMPT#2: I understand you are unable to view the notes of your Yahoo! Notepad after change into the new interface. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you and let me address this for you. How do I access my old notes listed under my Yahoo notepad folders?
I'm able to access my Yahoo notepad app and open the folders I created. I can also see the list of old notes that I added. I can do this from both my Yahoo email page and from the Yahoo notepad web page. However, I'm not able to open the old notes listed under any of my notepad folders from either source (mail or web page). These are old notes I added quite some time ago, before many Yahoo changes took place. To see if I could add a new note, I typed in a short one and I saved it to my 'unfiled' folder. This new note saved properly and I'm now able to access it when I open the 'unfiled' folder and click on the new note title. So I tried, again, to open some other old notes in other folders....the new note I saved is now the only thing that opens up and shows on my computer screen. The new note keeps showing up again and again, no matter which listed note I try to open under any of my folders. I tried using the help box to contact Yahoo help, but nothing came up that applied to this problem. Can anyone help me?

go to control panel the add remove programs then click on add remove windows components from the left hand side of windows choose accessories and click detail and choose the notepad and then click next and ok it will ask for windows cd. then it will install

You can cop and paste them Right click on the page and click on all then copy all then right click an click on Copy,you can then right click on were you want to put them and click on Paste I put mine into my Notepad on the PC Have a good day Lennon
Why is Yahoo! Notepad not working?
Hello there! We have heard your pleas on Twitter, and I have magically like your personal djinn appeared to assist you with this problem! OK, to be honest, I am mainly here to apologize. I saw your question a few days ago, and I filed a bug ticket to our engineering department ... but apparently in the ensuing cubicle melee involving three ninjas, an oliphaunt, and several pirates, I neglected to actually respond to this question so that you would know that I had done that. Really sorry about that slip-up. However, the good news with that is that our engineering team is already aware of this issue and they are looking into it. Unfortunately, I don't have a timeframe for when they will fix this. However, I am confident their investigation will turn up results in no time! I (and everyone else here too) really appreciate your time and patience while we work on this for you!
