Adderall XR Side Effects....?
Hello all. I have recently been prescribed Adderall XR and today was my first day taking any... I know the expected side effects, but I also saw that I had a very loose mouth. I got the "euphoric" feeling later on, but with it I wanted to talk and talk, and I wanted to talk about anything with my parents. That perturbs me, seeing as I consider myself rather reserved in that effect and I didn't even really want to talk to them, let alone any personal issues I normally wouldn't have. I'm also worried about "crashing." I know this is very addictive medication, and many people desire that euphoric feeling when they take it. So obviously there will be a come down. How long does it take for the euphoria to end? I've been on the 30 mg for about six hours and I don't know if I still have the euphoric feeling or if it just faded away. I'm afraid of the crash, because I don't want to become dependent on this. My arms are also twitching. Is this okay? I'm a little apprehensive about this...
Adderall xr side effects?
im 13 years old taking adderall xr 30 mg. Its been a few days after taking it. i usually run outside but lately this weekend(i dont take it on weekends) i feel unmotivated and it seems alot harder. i also keep on taking deep breaths cause i feel out of breath but they never help. I dont feel like myself. Im lazier than usual and i cant think straight. are these normal side effects? and are there any long term side effects? does it effects you physically?

Okay i am not one to tell a person what they can and can not do but i have been on every kind of ADHD med since i was four(i am only 18 now) and from all the bad side effects and my apprearent dependence on the the drug i wouldnt risk it and yes one of the side affects of adderall is addiction so i could go on and list a long list of side affects but you already have those personally ones affect me most would be insomina mood swings depression dryness just feel bummed about life worse of all i am either truely not able to function in soceity without it or my mind has been program to think i can not from such a long use of the medication but ive seen simmilar affects in short term use also

weell let me tell you aboiut aderall. im 18. i have intense adhd i was on 30 mg i took one pill everyday so yes that is what is usually perscribed. at first when i started taking it i noticed it taking my personality away. i wasnt as funny as i normally am and i was not hungry at all. i used it as a way of losing weight also because back then i was very fat. then things got better for me on aderall i got my personality back after a year of taking it. then things went great for the next 2 or so years. however, i then became ADDICTED to working out. i was working out for 5 hours everyday and of course with aderall you lose your appetite and since i was on the highest dosage you can get one ONE aderall pill i was never hungry. since i became addicted to working out i became addicted to aderall. completley freakin addicted. one week something happened to my pills so i had none for a whole week and I FREEAKED OUT i started crying and panicing because i felt like i NEEDED them. it was a moment ill never forget thats when i knew i wasnt just addicted i was DEPENDANT on them! they made me focus in so much that when i didnt takew them i crashed. i just stopped taking aderall around 3 months ago. why? because i was having MAJOR panic attacks, so badly that i almost died a few times. i now have panic disorsder, ocd, and mild depression along with adhd and other things. aderall contributed to this because it made me focus on my ocd and fear of germs and such so i shut down. i am still recovering but since being off the aderall ive felt better. i cant imagine what it owuld be like if i were still on it. i have extreme cases of panic disorder and ocd, and while getting off the aderall didnt compleltey make it go away it did help because i was then able to take antideppressants. after you stop taking it you get confused really easily. my point is ask your doctor to switch medicens cuz aderall comes with a boat load of side effects, i also belive it made me somewhat bi polar. i have constant mood changes now. watch yourself, you dont wana get addicted and have all the problems i have now. im not saying aderall caused my ocd, but if yoru like me and yoiu have it even a small amount, it will drive you into a deep depression and give you multiple panic attacks everyday where your heart feels like its going to explode out of your chest. GETTT OFF IT!
Adderall side effects or cause for concern?
I am not a doctor. You need this evaluated by a doctor. I can tell you one thing, adderall is an amphetamine which places the human body at risk, the drug is over prescribed, and when people die while taking it, they often say it was from an 'unknown heart condition'. That is just an excuse saying the patient was flawed, not the medical system that promotes this drug. I would stop taking this drug. The tightness in the chest might be heart problems induced by adderall (a mix of amphetamine salts). The chronic cough might be due to the high blood pressure effects of amphetamines or it could be due to an allergy from cleaning products or any number of things, if an antihistamine like claritin helped then this would be an indication of an allergy.
Adderall XR Overdose, how long do side effects last?
Save your comments and opinions, I know this is the most idioc thing anyone can ever do, but it unfortunately happened. I'm simply looking for facts and answers, thank you! Here goes Yesterday, I took 5-6 (unsure) 20mg XR adderalls at around 11AM. I weigh 130 and am 19. It didn't hit me until I was at work late at night around 2-3AM I freaked when I saw my pupils and my skin turning a faint purple and red on my extremities. Anyway, I tweaked all night and managed to drive home. I arrived home at 6AM. I have been up all day without sleeping and I have felt nauseous ALL day. I originally tried to throw the pills up when they were first taken but I had no luck, I tried again later, same result, I haven't thrown up, just feeling very nauseous. I finally ate something at around 12PM and still felt nauseous, and then something before my shift this evening at around 10PM and it subsided for a while. ER was not an option so I decided to just deal with it as best as I could and let it run its course. I received advice from poison control and proceeded about my day. I have been constantly drinking water all day long today but my mouth is still dry and my saliva is not normal. My skin has for the most part returned to its normal color, and I'm not as fidgety anymore. It's now been about 30+ hours. The only symptoms left are really nausea, pressure in my ears, saliva still sticky, and an overall "high" feeling. How long until they subside? If you are not perscribed to a drug, then DO NOT USE IT. This was a learning experience for myself, and it was and is very dangerous. I cannot believe this is perscribed to children to take for years on end! This has got to cause some serious damage. Especially when they up their dosage because they become immune.
Adderall affects to me at least "RL examples" side effects I feel?
So I am 19 6'4/225 I have tried other medication. Right now I am taking 30mg xr's once a day as that where's down I take 1-2 fast acting if I feel it coming down. Anyways I have noticed that I sweat prefusely. Sometimes I will wake up with a Leg cramp AKA charleehourse. Anyways I was a very laid back even hardcore I have really gotten in shape but I find my self having questions on if I even ate that day. If I did what? I also feel sometimes it takes over my sleep not going to bed till 4-5am 2-3 nights a weekened and really can't account for what I am doing in that period. Although again this medicine has changed me as a better person than what I was and I honestly don't want to get into that. So is there really anything for me to worry about I am just curious? I would ask a doctor but they would just take me off it right then and due to the question and personal.
Is 30 mg adderall xr do much for me ?
30mg xr is a higher dose, but it is a normal to have a pounding/racing heart, Especially when you first start as you have no tolerance, im prescibed 15mg adderall xr and when i started i was also worried i was bout to have a heart attack but it passed and after a couple days of taking it i got tolerance and it was fine now i take 30mg as i have tolerance. However if the heart beating becomes very severe or last's a long time or you notice any of these SERIOUS side effects: blurred vision,chest pain; confusion; depression fever; growth suppression; new or worsening mental or mood problems (eg, aggression, hallucination); numbness or tingling in an arm or leg; one-sided weakness; painful or frequent urination; seizures; severe headache; severe stomach pain; severe weight loss; shortness of breath; sudden, severe dizziness, fainting, or vomiting; uncontrolled muscle movement; unusual weakness or tiredness; vision or speech changes. btw: some of those are normal i just copied and pasted lol but you can probably tell which ones a more serious like seizure vs headache, o btw ya the headache is normal at first just as long as you are not experiencing any of the following overdose symptoms with it like restlessness, tremor, muscle twitches, rapid breathing, confusion, hallucinations, panic, aggressiveness, unexplained muscle pain or tenderness, muscle weakness, fever or flu symptoms, and dark colored urine. These symptoms may be followed by depression and tiredness. Other overdose symptoms include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, uneven heartbeats, feeling light-headed, fainting, seizure (convulsions), or coma. IF YOU BELIEVE YOU MAY HAVE OVERDOSED ON ADDERALL GET MEDICAL HELP IMMEDIATELY, AN ADDERALL OVERDOSE CAN BE FATAL but, ya i think your probbably fine as this happened to me too also if all the info i typed up doesn't fully answer your question just goto on of my sources for more HOPE I HELPED :D
Adderall 30mg XR - First time?
I am not ADD nor ADHD. It's about that time of year where finals are starting. My buddy (who does have ADHD) gave me 5 Adderall 30mg extended release caps. I've taken stimulants before (on the not so legal side) (x, molly, etcetcetc). What I'm trying to figure out is what to expect. It's 12 pm for me, I was expecting to study and do some projects until about 3, then head to work about 4pm (I'm a host at a restaurant) I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be rolling off it to where it's noticeable, instead I was hoping just to be energetic and focused mainly. -I have just eaten a little bit to set my stomach right. and I've heard the extended release means more or less, I get 15mg for about 3-4 hours then another 15mg for about 3-4 hours. If this is correct, please let me know. Thank you for your help!
Adderall 30 mg xr capsule?
When I was taking prescribed Adderall, a 25 or 30 mg pill would keep me up for a long time. I had to take my last dose at 4 pm or earlier, or I couldn't sleep until 3 AM. The most important side effect is you'll have a heart attack. Your appetite may all but disappear. I weigh 195 now, but I lost 25 lbs on Adderal XR. I gained it all back when I got off it. Adderall really really increased my OCD tendencies. On Adderall, I wore a heart monitoring wristwatch. My normal 75 bpm was a constant 110 on Adderall. Please don't do Adderall without being seen by a doctor regularly. Do all of the ridiculous stupid drugs you want, but don't blow your heart up over something so silly. Settle down, relax, and try to get some sleep.
