Adobe Installation Helper Has Stopped Working How To Fix It

Download helper not working?

Windows 8 sucks! This problem only happens with windows 8. So what does anyone have to do to get Download Helper to work on foxfire to download youtube videos.
Lets get this strait! Windows 7 does not have problems at anytime of the 2013 Dec, Nov, and so on.
Come up with a better answer as to why windows 8 crappy does this. I also think windows 8 is a copy of Macintosh Lion. Also I would like to say how useless people with tablets are, and I have to add that the reason you have a tab in the first place is because you ***** about 10 lbs being on your lap.

Installation error. Message is error 1603-Fatal error during installation....?

Pat, this is probably a privileges issue. you need to install the program as an Administrator.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/834484

Here is the applicable section of that article:

"The SYSTEM account does not have Full Control permissions on the folder that you are trying to install the Windows Installer package to. You notice the error message because the Windows Installer service uses the SYSTEM account to install software."

You can do a couple of things. You can sign on under the Administrator account and run the installation. You can also locate the installer on the CD-ROM or from your download location, right-click on it, and select Run as Administrator.

Ichy.

How do I stop the Adobe Flash on my Mac from constantly wanting to update?

A lot of those are actually not from Adobe but are malware disguised as Flash updates. Flash is not as prevalent as it was 5 years ago and most developers and programmers have moved to HTML5, so chances are you are not really encountering Flash programs requiring an update. Ignore any update warnings you get and try and sweep your Mac of any updater apps that reside anywhere.

How exactly do you uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud?

follow this…

Would I risk my computer by installing Adobe Flash Player 9?

Flash player will not cause you problems, however malware can be contracted if you open a site that has malicious code that requires Flash Player to open it.

Download it directly from the official Adobe page. Also check for any updates periodically. When updates are made, a new version of Flash will become available.

Why is my Adobe PDF reader not working? How can I fix it?

To specifically resolve this issue, you need to provide the details like OS, device, PDF reader version number, and probably the PDF file.If the PDF cannot be opened by other PDF readers, most likely the PDF is bad.You might still be able to figure out what the PDF contains. You need to know a little more about programming. Using PDF APIs (e.g. iText), you can extract most content out.

How do you uninstall Adobe on Mac?

The installer you used to get the apps should give you the option to uninstall if it detects the apps are present. This can remove all the support files and preferences files, allowing you to completely reinstall and start fresh. It may offer to repair apps installed, depending on the version you're using (not every version has a repair function). However, the uninstall process is intended to fix the apps by completely removing them and starting with a fresh install. If you don't intend to reinstall, running the uninstaller really isn't necessary. If you don't need to repair/re-install again, simply dragging the apps to the trash is enough. This will leave behind some insignificantly small support files, but you get to save the time tracking down the installer and running its uninstall function.

What is the Adobe application manager and how is it useful?

The Adobe Application Manager is a helper application used to manage the installation of many Adobe products. If you have a Creative Cloud membership, the Adobe Application Manager will automatically update to the Creative Cloud desktop app, as long as you are running Mac OS 10.7 or later, or Windows 7 or later. If you are running older operating systems, such as Windows XP or Mac OS 10.6, you'll use the Adobe Application Manager (AAM) to manage your Creative Cloud downloads and installations. You can launch AAM manually from the Applications folder (Mac OS), or the Start > All Programs menu (Windows).
