Advice On Losing Weight

I need advice on losing weight?

I'm almost 23, I way nearly 300 and I'm 5'6 I've never been a normal weight, my lowest was when I was a Jr. in HS I was 205. my mom was overweight and had weight loss surgery, so she doesn't eat much,I don't mind cooking, but I don't know what to cook how to cook it to where it is a healthy dinner, short term I would love to be under 250. Long term I want to be 120-140... that's what the guideline says my weight should be. I want to be a healthy size and not just skinny but I just don't know where to start...

VEGANS: I need advice on losing weight?

Cut the simple sugars out of your diet. Your body will burn these first and store all extra carbs as fat. Although fruit contains a lot of vitamins and high water content, this all comes with simple sugars. I recommend cutting out sweet fruit and replacing it with vegetables.

If you are vegan, consider cutting out soy and gluten to see if this helps. Some people can have sensitivities to these things which cause bloating and puffiness (making you look "chubbier" than you actually are). Eco-Vegan Gal has a great video on it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Glfy7u5a3...

You should also consider doing more exercise. Power-walking is a good start, but I can see how you wouldn't want to do much of this if you are in a bad neighbourhood. Consider looking at some YouTube videos for at-home exercises, like pilates or yoga. Although something like yoga doesn't seem that intense, you still burn calories trying to hold yourself in all those positions.

Lastly, remember to love your body! Many of the most beautiful women in history were curvy and confident. You can be too!

Tips on losing weight?

I'm 5' 2''½. I weigh around 123 - 127. It fluctuates. My BMI is 22. I want to get down to 115lbs. I'm trying to not snack and eliminate soda from my diet and only drink water instead. Would this help? I do martial arts for two hours three times a week, so I'm in shape. I just want to tone up a bit and get down to 115lbs. Does anyone have any tips that will help me get back down to 115lbs? I would like to do this over the summer and so I will be comfortable in my own skin.

Advice on how to lose weight in one month?

Ok, so heres what you do

1) stay on a diet (doesnt mean starving your self )
2) cardio
3) light weight training

1)

Staying on a diet means eating healthier and not eating junk foods, err eat less of whats bad, im sure u no wuts bad for u

burn more than u consume

eat more protein which helps ur motabolism i heard calcium helps as well

stay away from carbs because if you dont use that energy the carb will store the fat/energy into ur body for later use

so too much carbs is not good

eat small meals like 5-6 times a day instead of 3 big meals, which will help ur metabolism

2)

cardio = running, jumping rope, jogging, biking, sports anything that will get ur heart pumping and sweating

at least half an hour a day. and stick to it dont be lazy

you can do this while watching tv and it will make time go by much quicker

remember to stretch before and after to prevent any injuries

3)

light weight training, maybe 5 or 10 lbs is good

it will help tone up ur arms, and legs so that u look slimmer, feel better. and have more energy to do everyday activities

search google: dumbell exercises

( once u get ur dumbells )

thats pretty much it

stay on the diet, dont eat big meals, and dont starve urself either

eat healthy

along with that do cardio to help burn off excess fat

and weight training is very good in burning off calories also

but if u gain weight but ut doing everything i told u to its because ur building muscle and muscle weighs more than fat

Good Luck

Tips on losing weight for prom?

Hello there!

I remember my prom... so exciting...finding that perfect dress!

I'll give you some advice and a healthy eating plan for the next 2 months if your looking to drop some weight however don't go overboard because your not overweight in the slightest!

First of all forget the crunches, sit ups and push ups. I managed to tone myself up doing something so much more simple and fun...you wouldn't even believe how good it is for your body but it is as simple as DANCING!! Get your favourite tunes on and just go for it, make sure no one is around twist that belly and feel free- that toned up my legs and tum while burning endless calories. And 40 mins of that goes by so quickly -you won't even realise you've done it!!

Healthy and eat diet plans-gosh i have loads.

To lose weight the healthy way your looking at taking in 1200 calories a day. It is important to snack on healthy stuff particularly fruit (apples are amazing as there low calorie very filling) Any fruit is great though...

For every meal you have - lunch and dinner fill up on veg-as much as you want!! Make sure your getting a good breakfast for example eggs and brown toast or porridge with fruit and nuts... this will kick your metabolism into gear and stop you craving other foods.

Keep your meals balanced and NEVER starve. If your hungry it means you should eat but just don't go to the cookie jar. If you stick to 12000 a day you will lose at least 2 pounds a week.

One of the most important things when trying to lose weight and i cannot stress it enough is tracking down every food that goes in your mouth!! Write it down.. keep a diary..anything!! I mean i use an online tracking calorie tool that i put all my foods in and it tracks everything i eat- if you want to try that out its on www.makemyplate.co. That will control your calories each day and will bleep red when you go over your cals-also you can look at peoples ideas and use them as your own!

Well i hope it all goes ok and I'm hundred percent sure you will look absolutely stunning at your prom!!

All the best and good luck!! :)

Need advice to lose weight while in boarding school?

I'm in boarding school where only certain food is prepared on a daily basis. What I have noticed is that on some days, the food is prepared with a lot of oil and too little vegetables.

Studying stress sometimes makes me hungry at night, so I frequently snack on chips part 10pm

Exercise can only be done during weekends, since schedule on weekdays are packed.

Any advice?
