Advice On Understanding My Korean Boyfriend Better It Drives Me Crazy

My boyfriend is too busy to call or text, is he not interested anymore?

My boyfriend did this…. He’s not always busy, but once he got a big project, he could ignore me by day but I’ve seen him online on Instagram. I was wondering, what's my fault? Is he not interested in me anymore?I tried to ignore and forget him the next day, then send good morning text one day after, he said sorry bcs his work is overwhelming and he’ll see me next week. That makes me relieved so I know he still wanted to see me.I am a busy person too, sometimes my workload gone crazy that I can't even text him. But I still scrolling through my instagram too like what he did, just to lower my stress or find an inspiration for work. Then I reflect that on myself. It's okay not to text if I can't give a proper reply. I just hate to get a “yes” “ok” “lol” text. I’d rather have seldom communication with qualities in the convo than a frequent communication with less quality convo. It depends on you who wanted to understand or not. If you can't understand just over it.

My korean boyfriend's mother hates me?

we used to be really close (by the way, i'm white) but all of a sudden she started hating me and telling me these horrible awful things :(
my mom is sort of controlling, and she never let me go on mission trips with my boyfriend and his mother because she has an anxiety disorder, and at the time when my boyfriend's mom asked me to go on these things, my mom was in a really fragile state (we'd just moved and i felt like she needed me).
after i kept saying i couldnt go on trips with this lady, she started ignoring me and telling me things like, "i just wish (insert my boyfriend's name) could have married a korean girl. they're just so much better than white girls." which just isnt true! i've seen a LOT of very slutty korean girls, who swear and fail classes at school. i've also seen really nice ones who are amazing in school. BUT they are the SAME as white girls. there's no difference except they know korean cultures and maybe know how to make korean food (though my boyfriend's mom didnt know how to make korean food until after she was married).
i honestly dont understand why she hates me so much :( because i'm in an honors program at my university, where i also have a really really good scholarship. i am never rude to her and i sometimes bring her gifts just because i like giving things to people :( i even gave her a foot massage one time cuz she said her feet hurt!
she told my boyfriend, "i'm sad you're still with her" because my MOM is controlling. she is controlling too! i'd say shes even more controlling because she signs her son up for things he doesnt want to go to, and forces him to go anyways.

she's also told him that she wishes he'd asked out this other korean girl, and not me. AND ON TOP OF THAT she FORCED us to go to her house for a pool party! she actually forced us!!! we tried to get out of going every way we could, but she was always there to shove us back :P

i think she hates me just because im not freakin korean, and because my mom is controlling. what do i do? i want to yell at her! can i just glare at her and talk to her as little as possible? i dont even want to say hi to her anymore, let alone bow and say it in korean :P (which she always yells at me to do if i say hi in english)

Do Korean guys like Indian girls?

I’m gonna jot down the facts here.Koreans living in Korea do not see other races very often. They see a fair deal of Japanese and Chinese, but they look very similar to Koreans, anyway. They may have also seen a little bit of whites and Southeast Asians. Maybe not.Other than those? Nope. Many of them have never seen Indians, Middle Easterners, Southern Americans, and blacks in their entire lives, so they might feel uneasy towards you.I’ve also heard from some of my friends who say they mostly prefer Korean women over all others. Just an individual preference, yes, but I’ve seen quite a few who think this way.So, yeah, not all of them will favor Indian girls. But keep in mind, this ain’t a matter of racism or some shit, it’s just human beings feeling anxious towards something they have never seen. How to overcome this? Speak Korean. If you speak decent Korean—which is, of course, hard to achieve—they will totally accept you, without a doubt.A2A by Anonymous.

Korean drama recommendations for a newbie?

I've watched You're Beautiful, My Girl and Full House. Now, I'd like to know about more Korean dramas that resemble these. Especially My Girl! Please, no tragedies or stuff like that, I'm not much for those LOL.

My girlfriend has separation anxiety from our long distance relationship. How can I help her?

My girlfriend goes to college in Providence, and I go to college in Philadelphia. She misses me so much that she's cried almost every night for the past week. I try to comfort her, but it doesn't work. Sometimes I get frustrated that I can't do anything and we fight too, and that really strains our relationship. Words aren't helping her, she needs physical contact (something to hug/kiss/f**k/etc.) Is there anything I can do from my distance to help her? If you've been in this situation what has worked for you? All I want to do is make her feel better.

Husband refuses to watch horror movies with me! Advice?

I'm a huge movie fan and even more so when it comes to horror movies. My husband refuses to watch horror movies with me,(tells me they are stupid and boring and thinks im crazy for liking to scare myself) and so unless I watch them alone I never get to see them anymore. I have tried to find friends to watch horror movies with and nothing ever works out. I miss watching horror movies with someone who loves them, and I just don't understand why he wont watch an occasional horror movie with me, we do many things he loves to do. Any advice?
