Aftermarket Radio questions...?

Okay so maybe you guys saw my post the other day about wether I should get an aftermarket radio or just go to a junk yard and get the stock one out a reck... Regardless, not very important because my friends just gave me a free aftermarket radio. The thing is it doesn't have auxiliary or a Cassette player for my iPod. Just a cd player.. So heres the question... Now it's one of those fancy ones that the face pops off so can I buy a face that has an aux? Or no? Otherwise could you buy something else that plugs into the back of the radio or something that then has a wire to my phone? Thanks a load to whoever wants to help me out. If it becomes a hassle might just Craigslist it out and use that money to buy a more useful radio. Peace

2007 Ford Fusion Aftermarket Radio Install?

Well I just got my 2007 Ford Fusion SE (2.3 Liter) about a week ago and I love so far, I plan on doing lots of upgrades over time as extra money becomes available, I have done alot researching on touchscreen head units. Ive been looking for one that is touchscreen with built in navigation and the Eonon G2240 has really caught my eye and has all the features i wanted and then more. from what ive seen, they have great reviews on their products, but I just wanted to know if someone could tell me if this would fit in my year and model fusion? they have demnisions of it at the bottom of their page but I know absolutely nothing about installing radios so I just wanted to know if it would fit? if so, from research ive heard that you need some sort of "' dash kit " when buying aftermarket radios..where would I be able to get one of those? and also Ive heard you need a wire harness, im not sure but all information would be greatly appreciated thanks!. and the link will be below to the site page of the radio.

Aftermarket radio doesn't work?

I just jumped my car (05 Grand Am) and I put a aftermarket radio in it last year. Well the radio doesn't work anymore, doesn't turn on.

I tried to pull the #15 fuse from the passenger side since in the past there was something messed up with my security system I think and I just pulled #15 and put it back in and it worked.

03 avalanch aftermarket radio installation problems?

Are you using the vehicle specific harness with integration module for your vehicle? Don't cut the factory harness off and try to wire in your radio. You need to get the correct part to integrate a new radio in that vehicle, they differ depending on what kind of system you have (bose, non bose). you can check the part at the site I've listed

That's the wiring colors, from the12Volt.com. As Always double check the wiring with a multimeter. Depending on how you cut the plug, that depends on how much damage there could be. If you cut wire to wire, you might be ok, but if you cut the entire plug at once, the metal cutters could have ground out the constant and switched power, plus sent power to the speakers, and anything else connected to the vehicles harness.. Double check all fuses, and hopefully nothing else has gone wrong ..
Good Luck!

Aftermarket radio installation for 2006 dodge charger?

I just bought a 2006 dodge charger 3.5L without Navigation and im curious as to wonder how it will look when i do decide to install a navigation aftermarket radio. If your familiar with the 2006 chargers youll know that the ones without navigation have the two radio controls that sit on both sides of the radio which come outside the dash frame a bit and leaves the dash bezel with two ridges. so when you do decide to put aa aftermarket radio in your stuck with an outline of two buttons from the dash bezel where the factory radio buttons used to be. I know this may not seem to make sense to some of the people reading this but if you have had or know about the chargers and their dash bezel designs without the navigation look can you please suggest to me what i can do so i can have a proffesional look with my aftermarket radio.
