ALGEBRA 2 HELPPP?

I have these questions that I can't figure out. Thanks much :)

1. In 1942, I.M Chisov of the USSR bailed out of an airplane without a parachute at 21,980 feet and survived. The function h(t)=-16t^2 + 21980 describes the relationship between h(t) in feet and the time t in seconds. About how many seconds did he fall before reaching the ground?

2. Use Long Division to find (2h^3-5h^2+22h+51) / (2h+3)

3.Write the quadratic equation that has the roots 3 +/- 8i. (3 plus or minus 8i)

4. Simplify: (-6-2i)(7-i)(4+3i)

Algebra 2 pleasseee helppp?

It is MOST IMPORTANT that questions are clear before answers are attempted

Is the 1st question :-
(4 + x) / 2 = x ????
OR
4 + (x/2) = x ??????

Will guess at 4 + (x/2) = x
8 + x = 2x
8 = x
OPTION a

Again will guess at:-
e^x + 3 = 6
e^x = 3
x ln e = ln 3
x = ln 3

But could it be :-
e^(x + 3) = 6
(x + 3) ln e = ln 6
x + 3 = ln 6
x = - 3 + ln 6

Again guessing :-
e^x = 11
x ln e = ln 11
x = ln 11

Suppose you learn nothing else today, I hope you will now appreciate the importance of using brackets.

3-19-20......... Algebra 2 Help, Please?

We're told "1200 students are enrolled in engineering" and there seem to be only three types: electrical (e), mechanical (m), and chemical (c). So c + m + e = 1200, the total number.

We're told "there are twice as many in electrical engineering (e) as in mechanical engineering (m)". So that means 2 times the number of mechanical engineer majors should equal the number of electrical engineer majors. So 2m = e.

Then we're told that there are "three times as many in chemical engineering (c) as in mechanical engineering(m)." So 3 times the number of mechanical engineer majors should equal the number of chemical engineering majors: 3m = c.

Algebra 2 help!!!!! 10 pointss!!!?

1)
5log(base b)q + 2log(base b)y
using property: log(base a)x^y = y*log(base a)x
= log(base b)q^5 + log(base b)y^2
using property: log(base a)xy = log(base a)x + log(base a)y
= log(base b)[(q^5)(y^2)]

2)
log(base 3)9 + log(base 3)36 - log(base3)4
using property: log(base a)(x/y) = log(base a)x - log(base a)y
= log(base 3)9 + log(base 3)(36/4)
= log(base 3)9 + log(base 3)9
= 2log(base 3)9
using property: log(base a)x^y = y*log(base a)x
= log(base 3)(9^2)
= log(base 3)81
= 4

3)
ln e^3
using property: ln e^x = x
= 3

4)
ln 2 + ln x = 5
using property: ln xy = ln x + ln y
ln 2x = 5
using property: e^(ln x) = x
e^(ln 2x) = e^5
2x = e^5
x = (e^5)/2 = 74.207

5)
20√(625x^4) >> 20th root of 625x^4

using the power rule:
log(base a)x^y = y*log(base a)x

log 20√(625x^4) = 1/5 log 5x

log 20√(625x^4)
= log (625x^4)^(1/20)
= 1/20 log 625x^4
= 1/20 log (5x)^4
= (4)*(1/20) log 5x
= 4/20 log 5x
= 1/5 log 5x

HELP! I'M FAILING ALGEBRA 2?

HELPPP ME! I can't keep failing! I just SUCK at this subject! I can't do algebra at all O.O Everyone around me says that it's SOOO EASY! Well, it's not! According to my pee brain, I'm generally STUPID at math! ALGEBRA is just so DULL to me, with it's letters and numbers together, I just don't get it :( (Except easy math) I already tried studying on my own :( And my Algebra teacher isn't much help for me!! He's always so quick on me :( I SWEAR, my eyes are WIDE open, I write down what he writes, and TRY TO FOCUS.. Then I just don't get it.. Everyone around me is all smart, I'm just incredibly stupid! That one thing he does in the problem, brings my brain crashing down into dust, making me feel worse then ever! My mother and sisters are busy all the time! They don't have time to HELP! There really isn't that many tutors around TO HELP ME!! My midterm is coming in 4 days, and my TEST is tomorrow! It will take me an ETERNITY to learn all this nonsense alegrbra on my own! My teacher doesn't do extra help... So I'm basically in utter doom right now! WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?! PLEASSSSSE!!! HELP ME! I NEED TO RAISE MY GRADE UP TO AT LEAST A C!!!

Does algebra 2 help with math HL?

Yes. Algebra helps in everything!

Connections Academy Algebra 2 a HELPPP.?!?

Grades go in Nov.6th And I am just extremely far behind due to family issues. If somebody could PLEASE log into my account and help I would be EXTREMELY grateful ! I CANNOT fail, my parents will kill me ! (not literally)
But please please please somebody do me this favor. I swear I will go back and study everything, right now it just needs to get done and I can't do it on my own. :(

Do you have to take geometry before Algebra 2?

Not necessarily, but usually you are required to do so. This is because geometry gives you the foundation you will need later on to be successful in geometry. For example, you learn about basic trigonometric ratios in geometry. However in Algebra 2, you dive deeper into trigonometry and such ratios, and geometry gives you that basis and foundation to help you understand and succeed
