Am I A Bigot If A Stain In The Seat Of My Underpants Reminds Me Of President Obama

What is the worst argument in the world?

This is what happened with me recently. The 4-year-old healthy computer suddenly crashes saying 'CPU fan error'. So I tell father. Father (getting annoyed): How did it happen? What did you do? Me (calmly): I didn't do anything. When I switched it on it gave me this error, which I initially ignored, it was running fine for a while then it suddenly crashed. The system shut down automatically. Father (getting more annoyed): How can it shut down automatically? Why did you ignore the error in first place? What did you do with the computer last time? You say you didn't do anything, I hardly use the computer now, your mother doesn't use it, your brother doesn't give a shit about it,  then WHO DID IT? Me (trying to calm myself): I don't know. I didn't do anything. I don't even use it since I got my laptop. YOU used it a couple of days back for some work. Besides, it's 4 years old and never have we once given it for servicing. The CPU fan must have gone kaput. Father (judging me): What do you mean you don't know? You mean when things get old they falter? We should throw away? That means you will have this approach towards us too? Is this why I raised you? To hear this? Me (getting really annoyed and confused but trying hard not to show): Where is this conversation heading?Father (full-fledgedly accusing me for the crash): THIS.. THIS behavior of yours.. You behave this way, that's why the computer crashed. Now don't look at my face, call the maintenance guy and get it fixed. You don't know how to handle delicate things. How will you run a family?! And father storms out of the room. Me: ......??????????????????????

Have you ever defended someone from racism?

I've mentioned before in a different answer that I grew up in a very small conservative rural town. While most of my school and town were predominantly white, my core group of friends was very mixed. I was the only white kid. My best friend was black. He was also one of the smartest, most athletic and most popular kid's in our school. He loved basketball and was one of the best in our state at the time. Many of the other schools in our league were predominantly white, rural conservative school's. The amount of racism in these areas are, still to this day, baffling.During a basketball game between us and a rival school in our league, I was sitting with my small, mixed group of friends at an away game supporting our friend and the team.We were surrounded by the other school's fan's. Which in itself was fine. I was a fighter back then and it didn't take much to set me off. But, I wasn't usually too dumb about fighting either. I knew starting a fight when it was only a few of us against a whole town would not be smart. So, I was not there to fight and even tried to keep others calm and focused on enjoying the game. That is until one fan started chanting something with the N word about my friend on the court. It started with just a couple kids, then grew to being almost their entire fan section, parents included. This was not in the 50s. I graduated high school in ‘03.I lost it. I grabbed the kid that started the chant and threw him from where we were sitting down to the court. Following him and had every intention of beating that word from his mouth. I was so enraged that I couldn't tell you how many people I fought hit or knocked out or even how many times I got hit myself. It turned into a huge brawl when our basketball team jumped in.Police were called and they had to clear the entire gym. By the time the police got there though my friends and I were long gone. On to another adventure.I found out the next Monday at school that the entire thing, including the other teams fans chanting that shit was on the game film. Luckily it was because I think thing's could have been much worse if it were not. As it was, I was suspended for a few days. To this day though, even being the non-violent advocate I am today, I don't have any regrets in that fight. With the exception of, I wish I could have hit more of those racist f#%$ even harder.
