How can I stop getting scared after watching a horror movie?
Yes. I use these two techniques personally. I'm so shit scared that when I need to pee in middle of the night I probably need someone outside the bathroom door keeping a watch for me (just in case those fictional characters were real and would come to kill me at night while peeing. Haha yes, mind doesn't work by logic at night.)Technique No. 1 -So the technique number 1 is to watch it in mute. Unmute when dialogues are being said.But keeping it on mute will allow you to be not that scared when something or someone suddenly appears.Sound effects of these movies make it more scary.Another psychological hack with this is that watching it on mute won't let you completely submerge in the scary atmosphere, you'd be able to differentiate between what's a real world and fiction.Hence, you'd be way more less scared.Technique No. 2 —So this may sound stupid but it works. So be with me here. I use it. It does help.Step 1 - Make your friends or family watch it with you.Step 2 - When you start feeling scared, make jokes on the movie, make fun of it.The psychology behind this is to ridicule it that your brain knows it's not supposed to take the scary movie seriously. What's wrong with anime nowadays?
Back in the day anime was so epic that I couldn't get enough of it, but nowadays it's just repetitive and boring. They have too much fan service, spout the same cliché lines, and there is almost always cheesy romance in them. What happened? Are the directors to scared to risk adding creativity to there work or something?

i've not really ever had a movie that **** me up to make me not want to go to sleep but if you do these steps i guarantee you would be **** scared! 1.get a snack and food 2.go into a room 3.turn off the lights (all of them so it is completely dark) 4.wait until it get's dark 5.open a window 6.turn the tv on 7.turn the volume up! 8.watch these!: Ringu - foriegn version the ring - english version The collector last house on the left (remake) i spit in your grave (remake) texas chainsaw massacre (remake) The strangers a clockwork orange - pretty funny now adays but y'know mothers day funny games the shining - again pretty funny but amazing film dawn of the dead paranormal activity - i din't think it was scary but most people did ma audition - foreign hills have eyes (remake) 28 days later 28 weeks later hellraiser the descent 1408 identity deliverance - if your BOYS don't watch this lol saw - 1st maybe 2nd insidious the mist - gives you a sick feeling after watching it rec - foreign version road kill (joy ride) jeepers creepers - i found it hilarious but i know someone that didn't so... the thing - i don't think it was scary IMO but supposedly it's the scariest film ever made?? choose your pick out of these go with ringu watch this in the dark it normally helps to get scared if your on your own but i still think any of these films should work with two if follow instruction ;) planet terror and death proof were also amazing horror films but not that horrifying lol cabin in the woods is epic horror film and know wanna my fav's hope this helps get scared!!!! ;)
