Am I Healthy Height/weight/bp

How can I find out the ideal weight for my height and age?

Go see your doctor before you get concerned, they can clearly evaluate your true BMI.Firstly, you're working out regularly so you can toss this chart in the trash:Secondly, so many factors go into healthy body composition that any simple "rule of thumb" (or maybe a chart per se) is over generalized. I am just a touch over 5'10" and weigh 200 lbs. I don't look like a football player, nor a marathon runner, but I'm certainly not borderline obese as this chart would have me believe. I play sports and have worked out my entire life. My strength to weight ratio is ideal but you would never guess me at 200 lbs. (btw..I win a lot of stuffed animals at the County Fair when they guess my weight). Once upon a time I was concerned about my BMI and its possible effects on my health. My doctor told me that bone density, muscle concentration and cell mass differ with all of us. I guess it was his way of telling me that I was dense! (rim shot). He then told me to get out of his office and enjoy my stuffed animal collection. I'm sure your doctor will tell you much of the same.

Is a 60 over 92 blood pressure healthy?

Do you mean 92 over 60? that'ss fine for a woman your age height and weight, otherwise you are probably dehydrated a lot of the time. If it is 60/92 you should go see your doctor. Systolic numbers should be higher than diastolic.

Is 106/64 a healthy blood pressure to have?

Depending on your height and weight, you sound just fine. Do you get dizzy when you stand up? Or, when you rise from a crouch? You could be orthostatic, which would explain your low blood pressure. Don't fret, mine's lower, I'm 5'11, 200lbs

Is a blood pressure of 96/64 healthy?

Regarding your height and weight your BMI shows you are of a normal weight for your height, don't try to gain or lose based on anyone saying you need more or less weight. Your BMI is 19.3 which is great.

Regarding your BP, the blood pressure in teens is often lower than the adult population for many reasons. This is probably your normal and as a single measurement is not unhealthy unless you have symptoms of hypotension, such as dizziness when moving or standing or a bounding rapid pulse.

What would be healthy blood pressure for a 16 year old boy 5'9" 150 pounds?

I am surprised at the other answers which are probably too high.130 systolic and 80 diastolic which is a good for adults seems high for a 16 yo and might be better judged OKish and cause to follow.A systolic of 136 is not oK. New ACC/AHA High Blood Pressure Guidelines Lower Definition of Hypertension - American College of CardiologyIt is very important to know that one BP measurement is not a reliable answer and all unexpected BP measurements need to be both repeated and verified. If such a 16 yo was reported to have a BP of 136/86 the best responce is to try it again on a different instrument, because 16 yo’s being almost always heathy it is more likely that the BP measurement is wrong.I am in agreement with the implied judgement that LOW blood pressure is so rarely a problem that describing upper limits only puts attention where it should be.

Having a weight of 90 kg, blood pressure of 175/110 and being 27 years old, what does that say about your health? What can you do about it?

deep trouble in future regarding many chronic diseases. My story might help you. My life was living hell due to depression for 29 years from 1985-2014 with more than 30 symptoms including anxiety, IBS, restlessness, sleep problems, insulin resistance and hypoglycaemic episodes, chronic headache, fatigue, Diabetes from last 3 years, high BP from last 5 years and obesity, gluten sensitivity multiple food allergies, weak immune system, attempted serious suicide in July 2010 and it is recorded in my AIIMS patient record, all doctors including AIIMS(after 2year treatment) said we have no solution to your problem.. No Allopathic, homeopathic, Ayurveda medicine, yoga, acupuncture, meditation was able to help me beyond 15%. I started to take some herbs, vitamins, minerals under guidance of a doctor based in Delhi. I started to feel better and after 3 years of taking these herbs, vitamins, minerals. I am free from almost all symptoms(90% relief) and suicidal thoughts have disappeared and now I am enjoying life. I have lost 18 kg weight in last 3 years and I have reversed the diabetes and its symptoms especially hypoglycaemic episodes which are very painful. I have completely stopped taking allopathic medicines from last 2 years. now my blood pressure is around 115/70 as compared to 142/95 few years back.

I am 183 cm and weigh 110 kg with a BP of 130/90, how dangerous is it?

Well it’s not healthy that’s for sure. Is that a consistent read or do you have white coat syndrome were your BP goes high but is lower on the way out of the doctors? If that is in fact your average BP you are in stage 1 hypertension bordering stage 2. I can’t answer what this means for you but if it was me I would be changing my diet and asking this question to my doctor. It kills me when I see these kind of questions because it feels like what they are really asking is “How much longer can I continue to neglect my body without making changes to live longer” Come on people we only live once and when your time is up it’s up. I genuinely hope you lower your numbers to improve your health. I’ll be the first to say I’m not the perfect specimen of what health looks like so I understand change is hard however having a son recently made those things I used to pass off now get taken care of right away.I wish you all the best, a long and healthy life.

Is 157/102 blood pressure high for a 13 year old girl? ?

Normal blood pressure is anything below 120/80 and above 90/60. Anything over 160/100 needs to be treated by a doctor. Your weight and height is good for your age. Do you have a healthy diet and excercise? Teenagers and children do not have the healthiest diets and tend to eat alot of junk food. Which is bad for your blood pressure. How was your blood pressure taken? Did you rest for 10 minutes before taking it? Was it an at home device or the drug store? Do note wrist monitors can be inaccurate.Your blood pressure is high for your age because younger people tend to have lower blood pressures. The best thing you can do is go see your doctor that way they can help you.

What should i expect at my checkup/physical exam on Friday?

I'm a 14 year old girl. I haven't been to my doctor's in 3 years (my mom got laid off and didn't have health insurance for us. She is now working again :) so I'm going to the doctors) I'm going to the same pediatrician i had before, but I'm a little nervous. Its been 3 years and i don't know what to expect. Will i have to get completely naked? Will the doctor look at or palpate my breasts? I've been looking online for info and i keep reading things like "the doctor will take a peak down there" Will i have to take my panties off or will the doctor just lift my panties to take a quick look? Thanks for any help and info you can give me.
