What should a fit 15 year-old be able to bench press (male and female)?

As a former high school athlete, I can at least provide a general answer for a 15 year old male. Generally, a good goal for beginners to shoot for is benching your body weight for one repetition. Now, I can’t give a perfectly appropriate answer, because 15 year old males are at varying stages of development, not to mention training experience and knowledge. If you want some anecdotal information, I started developing earlier than most of my peers at 15 years of age, both physically and in my passion/knowledge of working out. I remember being 15 the summer before I started high school, and all the incoming freshmen who wanted to play football were being tested by the coaches. I think I bench pressed 135lbs for 8 repetitions, which was better than all the other incoming freshmen— but bear in mind, it was my favorite exercise, and I’d been training it intensely since 7th grade. If you’re just reasonably fit for your age, and you don’t try to specialize in lifting weights, then bench pressing your body weight for 1 rep is a good benchmark (pun not intended). For 15 year old females, I’m not so sure. Girls at my school weren’t into lifting weights, and it was only towards my senior year that some coaches required their teams to come in and do some lifting, so I never really witnessed what they were capable of. However, since females have much less upper body strength potential than males, I’d say they could shoot for a 1 rep max of 50–75% of their body weight.Overall though, it’s really important to remember that there are no absolute standards or answers here; it can vary a lot as to what a 15 year old can do physically, due to many factors. The body is still developing at that age, hormone profiles are changing, and people come from different lifestyle backgrounds. The important thing is bettering yourself and striving for an appropriate goal.

Can a 50-year-old man be as physically as strong and fast as a 30-year-old man?

By the way you worded your question, you make it an easy “yes”. :)Obviously there are a huge number of 50-year-olds who are in better shape than 30-year-olds who do nothing to stay in shape, who have health problems, or even ones who work out, but ineptly.Maybe you really mean “can a 50-year-old man be as strong and fast as a 30-year-old man who has the same body type, does the same workouts, and has the same level of health?”The answer to this would be probably “no”. A younger person will tend to find it easier to stay in top shape than an older person. They will tend to recover faster, and will tend to find it easier to be strong and fast. That’s the bad news. Now the good news: a 50-year-old who has a better workout plan, a better diet, better sleep, and more persistence than a 30-year-old will probably smoke the younger guy, it happens all the time.

Rectal exam: 30 year old gay male?

Digital Rectal Examination (DRE) is normally recommended bi-annually for men over 40 and annually for 50+. Unless you are having urinary symptoms, or bleeding from the anus, a doctor is not likely to examine your prostate if you are under 40.

The doctor will use KY to lubricate a gloved finger, and insert it then twist it around to check the inside area of your rectum. He will push on the prostate, a walnut sized gland that surrounds the urethra. He's looking for lumps. The prostate should feel soft to the touch.

He may take a smear using a piece of chemically impregnated paper too - that will show him if there is any blood present. It'll take just a few seconds, and really isn't very uncomfortable - it's more just embarrassing. Doctors are pretty good at doing the exam and making it as comfortable as possible for the patient.

What happens at a 15 year old boy's sports physical examination?

If you're worried about any doctor looking down there, don't be! They have no right to make you feel uncomfortable, whether it's a girl or boy. So if they say that they are going to look down there or start to look down there, say you don't feel comfortable with them doing that and back away. Say that it's your body and you don't want anyone looking down there because it embarrasses you and makes you feel uncomfortable.

They can't force you to let them; it's a free country and it's perverted

What is the ideal weight for a 15 year old male?

There is not an ideal weight for any person of any gender. You can look at a BMI chart — it stands for body mass index, but your still growing so you need to understand that even if you're not in the normal zone — that's not necessarily a bad thing. You're still growing and you don't want to stunt your growth and you don't want to do something that could permanently damage your health. So a BMI index might be a good place to start but it's not a place to stop! If you're in the lower half of overweight zone, it isn't necessarily bad — just because you are not done growing! If you are in the well into the overweight zone or the obese zone then you need to start making changes now. I couldn't find a good chart that wasn't fuzzy, so if you just took up bmi calculator — enter your height and weight and it will give you a number and most give you the category you fall into, but your growing — so if your under 26.5 — I would say to keep growing, try to eat well — many colors of produce, drink water, limit empty calories like soda, candy, cake, and things like that. If your over 26.5 then watch what you eat more, do more moving, still do the other things, but at that point your not likely to grow that much that year, so since you are likely to grow both taller and have your muscles fill out for a few more years — just keep an eye on where you are as you finish growing and make adjustments if needed — just don't forget your still growing! It is never a bad time to give up empty calories, drink water, eat your veggies — it's also never a good time to start crash diets, eating tiny amounts, or over exercising!

Do I need to be physically fit to play tennis? I am an extremely skinny 30-year-old male.

Tennis is a great sport for everyone at all ages and body types. I’ve played tennis for 14 years so far and I have seen people that seemed out of shape do better than even some very athletic people I know. It’s important to work out as you play though because it can lead to injury. I’ve been through a lot while playing. I’ve gone through 1 sprained ankle and 2 sprained wrists just last year from gameplay. I wish I would’ve been more in shape to avoid the injuries but you just have to be careful about your weaknesses.
