Am I Seeing Things .

Why am I seeing things?

For some reason, lately I've been seeing wierd things. Sometimes I see things/people/whatever it is moving from the corner of my eye or from my peripheral vision.
I dont know if its "ghosts" or whatever it may be but it's been freaking me out and its been going on for a few months now.
Actually, now that I think about it the first time I saw something was when I was visiting my friends in the mountains. I saw a dark shadowy figure moving really fast through the trees.[faster than any person can move]
And ever since then I've been seeing things.
It's gotten to the point to where if i see something i dont trip out about it that much because I'm so use to seeing things now.
Which is wierd for me because I'm TERRIFIED of the dark & ghosts and seeing thingss & such.
I dont understand why I'm starting to see things.

I'm not crazy, im just a normal 19 year old.
I've been through a large amount of stress lately, could that be it?
I dont know, but I would really like your opinions as to why you think I'm seeing things.

Am i seeing things idk if im am or not!?

If you stare at anything too hard or too long it can give the illusion that its moving. For example, ever notice a dark crumb on the floor? You stare at it and try to decipher if its a crumb or a bug. After staring at it hard enough you'll swear you saw it move and that its a bug when its really just a crumb.

Does this happen when you look at other things? If not maybe its just the angle of the picture or something along those lines.

This definitely does not mean you are going crazy. Paranoid, maybe. Crazy, no.

Why am I seeing things twice?

This is going to sound stupid but I'm not talking about Deja Vu or anything like that. It's just that every once in a while I will see something happen and then I'll see it happen again seconds later. For example, today I was brushing my hair and looking out my window and a woman in a bright pink shirt on a bike rode by. I looked back at my mirror to brush my hair and then I saw her again go by my window in the same direction. It was a matter of a few seconds so I don't think she could've turned around and gone by again. I also checked to see if there was another person riding in front of her and there wasn't. It's just really strange and it has happened a few times. I will hear something before it actually happens or I will see something and then see the exact same thing happen again but I'll ask people and I know it only happened once. It's weird for me because I will have specific thoughts and memories of both occurrences even though they only happened once according to other people. I don't know if there is any sort of explanation for this or if it is all coincidence, but it has happened enough times that I'm starting to wonder why it's happening at all.

I am seeing things that are not there. How can I stop?

Unless you have been taking drugs of some sort, you are hallucinating and that is definitely caused by your brain. You need to see a doctor, preferably a psychiatrist, to find the root of your hallucinations. He or she will also probably prescribe medication(s) to help them go away.

Why am I seeing things that aren't really there?

An amateur Q&A site will not be able to answer this for you.You might get lucky and hear from a doctor here, but even that will just be his or her medical opinion.I am not a doctor and can't offer you any medical advice. However, seeing things that aren't there is not normal, and you should definitely talk to a doctor to try and figure out what's up. Hallucinations can be a sign of serious medical problems, both physical and mental.First of all, if you feel threatened, depressed, overly stressed, or suicidal, please contact a medical professional right away. Don't give in to despair; get help. Call a hotline, visit the ER, reach out to a psychologist, enlist your closest friend, whatever you need to do to get help right away. If you are feeling mostly OK, you should still plan to have a medical evaluation. Again, seeing things that aren't there is not normal, and can be a sign that something is wrong.Start a hallucination diary. Take note of:the date, the time of the hallucination, what you are seeing, where you are when it happens, how long it lasts, how you are feeling before it starts, how you are feeling afterward, whether you have a physical reaction to it,whether anything that you did made it start, whether anything you do makes it go away, or any other relevant information.Once you have recorded this information for at least a week, contact a medical professional. A record of your experiences will help them to figure out what's going on with you, and prescribe a solution that might help your unique situation. Best wishes.

Why am I seeing things when I close my eyes?

I see stuff on my eyelids, too, especially when I am tired. It is not hallucinations, nor is it ‘visual snow.’ Nor do I find it related to anxiety.I think that when this happens, the visual synapses are firing in sync, and re-creating images seen earlier in the day. Usually they are images of random things like people walking, cars driving, buildngs and scenery, but when I am very tired from driving a long road trip (10–12 hours), I will see the road going by for a long time before I fall asleep!Years ago, a retinal specialist examining my eyes said I had ‘excessive retinal fatigue’. What that meant was that my retina would tire and form afterimages much sooner than an average person’s would. Then I also would have these afterimages in my vision for a much longer time than average. Most people have had the experience of staring at a colored image, then gazing at a blank white area and seeing the complementary colored image appear in their field of vision. Those are after images. My afterimages remain much longer than most, especially when I or my eyes are tired. The retinal specialist told me that I needed to take supplementary vitamin A and vitamin E every day to nourish my weak eyes. Over the years I have learned about many other supplements that help my eyes, such as bilberry, eyebright, blueberries, lutein, and various anti-oxidants. I notice that when I take my supplements faithfully, eat a well-rounded diet, and get proper rest and exercise, my eyes do not get as tired so soon, and I, too, have better energy. There were times in my life when I suffered from a great deal of anxiety of various sorts and causes. I had mood swings with anxiety, I had problems in my life that caused anxiety. I ate junk food, I ate red dye and sugar. I drank caffeine. I sat at my desk for hours on end. I had a very negative outlook on life and expected the worst. All these different kinds of anxiety were helped by proper diet, moderate exercise, especially walking, and enough sleep, rest, and recreation.

How serious could my problem being if I am now seeing things that maybe aren’t there for example like, faces and crazy evil looking rodents everywhere I go?

There is a lot of ‘symbolic’ value in whatever you are saying here. Instead of thinking this is delusional or ‘schizophrenia’ - please look for a meaning into what is available as prodding from the unconscious part of your brain. Are you living in a hostile environment, or are surrounded by unfriendly people? All this will certainly tell on your mind and it will show you things how to deal with whatever you are dealing with.Would you have access to an analytical psychologist? If not, please look for the work of Carl Jung- you may get some insights there.

Why am i seeing and hallucinating things?

November 2010 i started seeing things..i thought it might have been lack of sleep or whatever..like i would see bugs crawling on the walls..but it kept continuing..since then im always seeing bugs that aren't there and now im starting to see things fall and ill go to catch it but it wasn't even falling in the first place? why is this happening to me? it happens almost everyday..i dont take medications and i get plenty of sleep and still see these things..i just dont know what is going on

Why do I keep hearing and seeing things not there?

When people experience this and you talk to say medical people they don't for one moment take into account that these are real you see when people pass on from this life they hang around the Earth plane ,so don't even know they have passed but some do and you need to keep asking questions same as on Earth. Now physical body is discarded and now you have a Spirit body surrounded by your half SoulThis spirit body is made of a different kind of matter but on that plane of existence it is just as solid and realNow when people pass they are just the same just one difference they have a Spirit body with the same beliefs and same personality and habits and you'll get people who want the best for you and people who don’t want the best for you a lot of events in the world are influence by negative people who have passed they drop thoughts into people minds to cause trouble on EarthBecause in Earth life they were full of rage and anger about their life So don't want other people happyIf you can see them try talking to themTry reasoning with them if they are negative try to show them it's their behaviour that is damaging their Soul as well as other people's Souls they should move onto the spirit plane and look to bright spirits who know more to help them get to a better placeBest wishesDavid
