How do I resolve the hanging problems of an Android phone?
Things that you can do to remove the lags are:Do a factory reset.You can do it either from phone settings menu, or you can goto recovery to clear the data.Install a launcher like Nova Launcher.(It's very snappy)Try to disable bloatware.(Bloatwares are the apps which are pre-installed by the OEM.)Use Clean Master.(Some may not agree on this point but my personal experience was good using Clean Master.)Now the below steps need root.(You can use google to find out the way to get your phone rooted.)Use Greenify as Vinayak stated.(I'll suggest you to goto for the pro version).Goto it's settings and enable all the options.Add all the apps in the hibernation list and then hibernate all of them.Create a hibernation shortcut from greenify and press it when you start to feel the lag.Only install the apps you need.After you obtain root, you can delete the installed bloatware and get some additional free space.Xposed Framework makes the greenify even more powerful.If you're below Android 5(Lollipop) then it's a one click installation.But above Android 5, the process becomes a bit difficult and needs a custom recovery.So, if you are comfortable with flashing and other stuff, then you must use Xposed in Android 5 and above.Do tell me if i was of any help.

As soon as you insert your sim card and the contacts are visible you can go toPhone>Menu>Import/Export ContactsAnd import all contacts from SIM card that way your sim card contacts will be in your phone.

1 month ago i updated my phone to lolipop after i installed it i noticed that my phones wifi doesnt turn on and it is stuck on "Turning on" loading mode which is a light green color. yes i searched the webs and tryed various fixs and some of them worked but the real problem is even though i fix it the problem keeps appearing again i fixed it like 13-14 times but the problem keeps appearing after around 1hr to 3 days the fixes i used are these: 1-detaching and reattaching the battery (it fixed but lasted for 10mins) 2-reinstalling the firmware (works most of the time lasts mostly for 5 hrs) 3-rooting the phone ( didnt fix) 4-deleting the wpa_supplicant.conf file in both etc/wifi and data/misc/wifi (fixed twice lasted 3 days oh and you need to root your phone to do this) 5-going in safe mode (fixed once lasted for 3 days) 6-rebooting (didnt fix) 7-lol deleting the whole wifi file and reinstalling the firmware(fixed once lasted 12hrs) 8-going back to the older versions of the OS (couldnt find the firmware so i used a custom firmware 4.4.2... didnt fix) 9-punching my phone...(didnt fix) 10-other crazy stuff that has nothing to do with the wifi please help.

The Application Google Play Store (process com.android.vending)has stopped unexpectedly? Please help!?
The same thing happened to me and i went settings>applications>com.android.vend... (which is what my play store app turned into) then i cleared the caches and uninstalled all updates etc. and then after i restarted the phone it was back to normal again. Instead of the com.android.vending icon i had my play store back!

Thanks for A2A.There is no long list that you can follow, as Samsung decices are running on Touchwiz, which itself is RAM consuming. Still you can go with following.Remove Samsung or google apps that you dont use ( playmovie, SNOTE, Galaxy apps etc ) from your device and if it can't be uninstalled, disable it.Remove RAM cleaning and security apps like RAM CLEANER, 360 Security, RAM BOOSTER. These apps are worthless as it does not help to clear ram instead app itself run in the back ground.Use lite versions of apps rather than full version. It will consume less ram.Remove empty folder from your Phone Storage and Memory Card. ( Not from the Android and data folder )Use apps other than stock like you can use QUICKPIC instead of Gallery.Use faster Memory Card, and dont fill Phone storage and memory card to its limit. Leave some space.If you are pro, then you can root your device and install custom ROMs, it will make it fast. For rooting and all stuff you can visit, xdadeveloper.com site.Disable some functions from the settings> apps, like air drop, smart screen, screen mirroring if you are not using it.Hope it helps.
How do I restore my accidentally deleted contacts from an Android phone?
Basically, when you use a android phone, you must be signed in to the phone using one of your google account. Google helps you backup and restore your contacts very easily just in few steps. Before, you might want to try restoring, I would suggest you to login to your gmail account on a PC and go to the "Contacts" Menu as shown in the figure below.You should find all your contacts in this window.Now go to your phone, follow the steps:1. Go to settings.2. Go to Accounts.3. Select Google.4. You should be able to see all your google accounts here. 5. Make sure you have the same account that holds your contacts is configured here.
