What animal has the shortest lifespan?

All of the answers posted so far are wrong (Lactobacillus and mayfly). Lactobacillus is not an animal; that person didn’t read the question carefully. Mayflies live from several months to a few years. Most of that life span is in the form of an aquatic juvenile called a naiad. At maturity, the insect climbs out of the water, sheds its cuticle, and becomes a flying adult. It is the adult that generally dies within 24 hours, but this is only a small fraction of the individual’s life span. The shortest-lived adult is apparently the mayfly Dolania americana, whose mature females live about 5 minutes after emergence from the water—a short time in which to mate and lay their eggs. But even Dolania americana has a total (juvenile + adult) life span of about 1 year.As for what animal really does have the shortest life span, I find only amateur answers that deserve skepticism, but there is a group of aquatic wormlike creatures called gastrotrichs that I’m somewhat familiar with as a zoologist, and which live about 3 days. See Gastrotrich - Wikipedia

What are the advantages of interdependence between plants and animals?

Basically, interdependence mean the dependence of two or more things on each other.Plants depend on animals for CO2, (during photosynthesis), bees &butterflies help in pollination &dispersal of seeds.earthworms &other organisms make the soil fertile for plant growth.Animals depend on plants for food, medicines, supply of O2, removal of CO2, shelter-plants are homes for variety of animals&provide material for building &furniture ,clothing - human beings. Both animals &plants depend on sun, air, water, soil for their growth. &sustenance. Thus all organisms depend on one another for their survival. This is known as interdependence .
