Answer The Question Above Only If You Aren

Please, answer the question above ONLY if you aren't European . Thx :) 1- What is the main characteristic of the europeans?

They live in Europe and they are human.

Those are the only "characteristics" that they all share.

There is a recent concept called "Europeanism" that seeks to identify a sort of commonality for the worldview of Europeans. You can read about it here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europeanis...

Question for Christians(if you aren't, still answer :))?

Of course you can. Having a sexual orientation is not a sin and a large number of the LGBT community believes in God or some other religion. I'm extreme but I don't see anything wrong with having sex outside of marriage so long as the person is responsible. I don't follow it perfectly. I'm all for LGBT rights and marriage equality, I don't believe nonbelievers and different faiths are destined for hell, and I'm not conservative. I don't know if I would say Christianity is sexist. My religion honors women.

Please, answer the question above ONLY if you aren't European . Thx :) 2-What is, for you, the principal country in Europe?

It depends on what you mean by "Principle" and who you're talking to. I think for the most part, a lot of Americans think of Germany, Switzerland, or Italy.

The Internet is one of many resources that I use. And but I also have a lot of books, on a lot of topics. Experience helps a lot.One has to understand that you can’t just believe something because there is a web page telling you so. Good research takes effort, and usually requires you have a basic understanding of the topic at hand to pin down the information you need.I would be really bad answering some questions because I don’t have the background. Now on questions of opinion… well, certain ones I will answer and others I won’t. Where I can make a fact-based argument, I will. If I have relevant experience to share, I might. Otherwise I tend to let those go.My best advice is to read. Lots. Not just from one perspective.Regards.

When people answer questions with "I reported you", aren't they violating the guidelines for answering questions?

Yes, if that is the entire, because it a NON -answer, BUT it is possible it MIGHT NOT be a violation.IF

the question that was asked IS answered.. The violation is for NOT answering the question that was asked directly Iif ALL they say in the answer is that they reported your question. That's a non-answer and point gaming violation. They CANNOT report YOUR account. They CAN report your QUESTIONS or ANSWERS, but NOT your email account. The violation is for the answer being a NON-ANSWER and for point gaming, but if they ANSWERED THE QUESTION that was asked, THAT IS NOT a violation. They ANSWERED the question that was asked.

It is a subtle distinction.I RARELY say if I have or if am going to report something. Often i do do NOT ANSWER QUESTIONS that i report because would be hypocrite, but sometimes i DO answer questions that i directly answer that is have already reported or report after i post my DIRECT answer to the question that was asked. Yes sometimes i am a hypocrite, but that is NOT NECESSARILY a violation of either the YA community guidelines OR any of the terms of of ToS contractS.

I am not a lawyer or paralegal..

EVERYONE is moderator on YA, including YOU. NO ONE has any super powers when reporting abuse. Some people have a higher trust rating for SUPPOSEDLY accurate reporting because people often DO NOT APPEAL, or CANNOT appeal because Yahoo?Verizon DID NOT send them EITHER a report notice or violation notice email.SOME people DO seem to be impervious to reporting, but that is probably false front.

EVERYONE is a moderator on YA , INCLUDING YOU,.

Why aren't my questions visible?

It is very common not to see your own questions in the list. You can view them almost exclusively through your "My Q&A."

Why do so many Quorans start their answer by repeating the question?Because so many questions get merged into other questions - sometimes carefully so that the meaning is the same, but sometimes not so carefully, so that your answer becomes meaningless in a new context…!I actually edited a question with two answers once, because the middle portion of it was worded incorrectly for what it was asking - and then had to advise one of the respondents that his first paragraph, where he addressed the “incorrect issue”, no longer made sense once I changed it…THIS question has already been asked dozens of times before, and will probably be merged too! Quora doesn’t want five - ten “similar” questions, all with similar answers on the same topic….EDIT : I wrote this answer months ago - I think, before I became a TW. When I got the TW award, it was one of the most affirming and thoroughly wonderful things that I had ever received - and all through my own efforts! But by then, I had already noticed how people who didn’t “re-add” the original question they had answered - and got caught out making some random looking answer, attracted, especially as a TW, LOTS of negative feedback. The higher you go, the harder you fall!Because it meant so much to me, and I can spend anywhere from half an hour to three or four hours on my answers, I feel a responsibility to do the best I can. I also remember reading a question like this one has now become (3 or 4 merges later), where there were about 15 very long and complicated answers, but no-one had re-stated the question, and by the time I had read three or four of the answers, I had NO IDEA of what the question actually asked… No problem, you may think, just scroll back? In a screed of many long answers, it is easy to lose touch with the one you were reading, and it made me more determined to add the question to the top of my answer. That question that I was scrolling through? Yep, when I got there, I discovered that, even though the question hadn’t been merged, the answer I had been reading was completely off topic…The whole idea of Quora is to make answers “easy to access”, mostly correct and to the point, helpful, well-written, and (something I’ve never achieved well) succinct!

Why aren't IQ tests required before being allowed to answer Yahoo questions?

yahoo seems to be full of the following...
teens -(know very little about life)
bored people -(only post comedy replies)
moaning divorced women with kids -(only post negative comments about men)
divorced men fed up paying the former's alimony - (only post negative comments about women),
trolls - (racist)
perverts - (sexual fantasy)
virgins - (repetitive dull questions about sex and rlationships, how do you kiss etc)

These types of people seem to be on yahoo answers which is why you get really poor answers.

no one even seems to source anything they say on yahoo, so theres no credit nor proof for any opinion. the people past level 4 are the worst culprits for posting stupid answers, they didnt get so many pts by being intelligent specialists in their field, far from it, they got to level 4 by having "no life." Theyre on here all the time constantly trying to answer every question there is.

I asked a question earlier and got 12 replies, only 3 answers actually tried to answer the Q. The others just waffled on about whatver they wanted the question to be. its always the ones who are level 4 or more....who do this. i asked another question, and level 4+ people replied saying..."what do you mean by lower class?" if you dont understand the question, then dont asnwer it. leave the question for people who have specialist knowledge and have studied politics.

some idiotic level 4 person is telling me to do some research if i want the answer to my own question! what a retard! thats the whole point of aksing a question, if i wanted to answer my ownquestion, why would i need to post it on here? unbelievable how dumb these level4+ are.

the most annoying useless answer is where someone says...."we're all the same, there are no races, we all bleed red." Whenever you ask a question about race or ethnicity or identity, you will always get 2 or 3 people reply with that line. it doesnt matter what the Q is, someone will still use that line every time as an answer. Its like asking kindergarten.

what race is keanu reeves?
Level 4+ Answer: who is he?
level5+ answer: i dispute the concept of race
level6+ answer: there are no races, we're all the same, we all bleed red."

NO, you shouldn't stop answering. Let's categorize the questions posted on Quora :Information based questions  Questions like What are some amazing facts about airplanes? act like a crowd sourcing project. More answers people add more information stacks up. And thus we all get to read and know more information. Technically crowd sourcing works only if crowd participates. So one shouldn't stop answering such questions regardless of number of votes his/her answer attracts. Opinion based / debatable questions (on public issues)Well, we are not always correct. Sometimes our opinions are biased may be due to some personal reason or due to lack of information. Answering these type of questions helps us to compare our views with others. It helps us evaluate ourselves. Naturally someone's answer gonna gain more votes than others. That  doesn't mean we should stop answering anymore. If this happens, there won't be any debates and there won't be any sharing of opinions. The current question itself does belong to this category. I don't know if I'd get any votes or not but that's not why I am answering. I am answering because I thought of some answer to this question. If I get up-votes good enough; I shall think my answers pretty good. If I don't then also it's fine. Expressing is important !   Fun questionsWell there your sense of humor and sarcasm plays role ! If you get up-votes, then you're pretty funny according to people. If you don't, people don't think you're funny enough to care and up-vote ; but you can still try.If you get down-votes then give it up :P May be try some other time with better jokes. :PExperience based questions I don't have anything to say about this category. Or should I say that I have no experience in this context :P Well that's my take on this !
