Antibiotics Question Is This A Bad Idea

I have some questions about antibiotic injections?

Your friend probably means you need a shot of Rosephren. Its a very strong injectable anti-biotic given for respritory infections. Bronchitis is a tough thing to get over and can really make you miserable! It might hurt for a few seconds to get the injection but its extremly worth it! In 2 days or so you will be all better! The shot will go into the hip/butt cheek area. It's not to bad and it *could* leave a small knot under the skin, but it will go away on its own with no need worry. You will lie on your side with your knee drawn up some what.

Go see your doctor and ask about Rosephren. I'm not sure what antibiotic you're on right now, but if it has been at least a week that you've been on it and you haven't missed any doses, you really might need something else! Azithromycin is really good too, also called a "Z-pack". I hope you feel better soon and I've helped you some!

Antibiotics and Adderall? ?

I'm not prescribed for Adderall but was planning on purchasing some from a friend and taking it while studying for my exams. I know that this isn't the best decision because I'm not prescribed, but I will probably end up taking them anyway, so none of this "that's not such a good idea" stuff please. I want to know if I can take it along with the antibiotic amoxicillian. The antibiotics are for a sore throat, but I haven't been taking it for the past 72 hours. The sore throat is coming back and I was planning on taking it again soon. Should I wait if I plan on taking Adderall?

Can i take ecstasy with antibiotics?

Some antibiotics are unsafe to take with the ingredients in Ecstasy as they inhibit the body's ability to metabolize them. Cephalosporin-based antibiotics such as Cephalexin do not have this effect, so the combination is safe. Have a good roll.

I am on antibiotics and i wish to take MDMA (ecstasy).is this a bad idea?

Ecstasy has a habit of reacting very poorly with amoxicillin. Among them high blood pressure, dizziness, fainting, heart palpitations and well the other stuff that comes with using it. Remember though, you are on an antibiotic. This means that the bacteria, good as well as bad is going to be killed off. This means that you won't absorb food as well, and you may get dehydrated. You should concentrate on getting well first before having fun. Generally it is a good rule to never mix any types of drugs together in your system without a doctors help.

Should I get a tattoo while on antibiotics?

no you should wait at least a week after you have finished the course of antibiotics. my tattooist told me that the ink will get rejected if someone is on antibiotics. he asks people to sign a form to say they aren't on any antibiotics. one guy he tattooed didn't tell him he was on them and came back a couple of days later complaining that the tattoo had faded and couldn't be seen. he then admitted he had been on antibiotics, and that was why his skin had rejected it.

Is it safe to take ecstasy while on antibiotics?

antibiotics and mdma have no negative interplay in terms of chemical reactions
but your pills have a 1% chance of being pure mdma, its usually cut with a lot of...."****" that has some interplay (reduced efficiency) =P
usually tho its safe
***the big thing to worry about is how susceptible your body and immune system has been to infection these past few weeks....rolling now would be a BAAAAAd idea as it severely compromises your immune system ~ in addition if you plan to roll at a large event with lots of people, i will promise you you're coming back with a new illness/infection.
short answer:generally safe to mix the two, but I wouldnt given your mini 2 week history / situation.
good luck

Is it a bad idea to take antibiotics prescribed to treat acne indefinitely?

Yup.  The condition that caused the acne should clear up with a round of antibiotics (there are other causes for acne).  Continuing to take the drugs --- who's prescribing them for you indefinitely, anyway? -- is contributing to the growth of antibiotic resistant everything.

Can I get a tattoo while taking antibiotics?

It shouldn't be a problem as far as the antibiotics are concerned. If you feel I'll, however, I would recommend postponing until you feel better. And please take the entire prescription. There is no utility in saving some for next time.

What are the health risks of taking two antibiotics at the same time?

The biggest risks of oral antibiotics (assuming you have no allergies) are:Not finishing themFinishing themNot finishing them can result in causing your infection to become resistant. You might start to feel better, but if you didn’t finish the course, what is left over (the amount that was no longer enough to be of concern) can end up being unresponsive when you try to take more. Also, if you don’t finish, and try to start over with the reduced dose, you can end up making other, non-infectious amounts of bacteria become resistant. The problems with this can be very severe. You could end up on such a strong antibiotic that you require hospitalization.Finishing them can be a problem because they may throw off the balance of microbes in your body. You may have, for example, a bacteria call c. difficile in your gut right now. But because you have all this other bacteria living there and crowding it out, it can’t grow to a large enough population to become infectious. But the c difficile survives the antibiotic you are on, and everyone else in there dies. Now it can grow, and you get a life threatening c difficile problem. The problem of clearing your gut out is pretty common, but c difficile infection is actually not, and your doctor can fight against it. In the future, though, I strongly recommend you ask your doctor about these concerns while he is still in the room. The internet is a bad place to go for advice. All we can do is give general tips that may not be pertinent to your health condition. Your doctor got an advanced degree for a reason. If your doctor rushed you out the door, most hospitals have a patient educator. Go to the front desk and ask for “patient education” or a patient advocate. You can also ask for a nurse, many of them paid attention in their pharmacology class and may be able to answer - but keep in mind that pharmacology without diagnostic medicine, biochemistry, and years of CME is only a piece of the puzzle.
