Which is correct: "I don't have any idea" or "I don't have got any idea"?

See, these two have slightly different meanings.Talking of the first sentence: “I don’t have any idea”. Here, it’s like I don’t have any sort of idea in my mind or I don’t possess any idea right now.Taking the second sentence into consideration,i.e, “I don’t have gotten any idea”. Here, its sense is like i have not gotten any idea from some/certain source. It’s like I have no idea about the stuff which i couldn’t correlate to.But yes, first sentence is preferred and is used. In English language, we try to remove the extra words and build the most appropriate sentence with the least possible words for constructing a sentence.

Any ideas of what to do for a "first" date?

I asked this one girl out (we're both in 9th grade) and we went to a Christmas party for our marching band last friday night. We were only there for an hour and a half. First of all, how do I know if she had a good time and wants to go out with me some more? Also, how should I ask her if she wants to go on a REAL date with me? And where should I take her on a first date?

What should I do if I don't have any business ideas?

If you have zero idea then I'm really curious of why you're even asking your question. Do you still want to run a business despite this? Is that what you mean? Or are you just conducting a simple survey? I believe that ideas come from the entrepreneur's interests and passion: what he wants to give, what he wants to do. Top 1 on my list before starting a business is DO NOT get involved in a business you don't even understand. Thus, if you don't have anything in your mind right now, STOP right there kid! WANDER. EXPLORE the world. Look for things you love to do. Find your personal interests. And from those things, you will find out what you want. Business isn't a school project that you do it now, submit it tomorrow, then you'll get a passing grade, and that's it, it's over. It's not like that.Managing a business is a continuous process of exploration and improvement. You will have to pour yourself into it, becoming the lungs that will enable it to breathe and  live. Which one is right, between "Do you have any idea?" and "Do you have any ideas?"

The two sentences mean something kind of different.Let me connect them with questions:What is wrong with my car? I have no idea. (This means I am completely puzzled and confused.)What should we do about this problem? I have no ideas. (I can’t come up with any specific suggestions.)Asking for “ideas” suggests that there may be several ways to answer, and suggests that we can brainstorm and pick the best one.Asking if you have “any idea” is asking if you are just lost, or if you might possibly be able to answer.

What are the differences between any idea and any ideas?

The plural is used when the noun that follows is countable, and the singular is used when the noun is not countable. This may not be too obvious in various situations, which is why the best way to figure it out is by trying the plural of the noun, and replace "any" with a number. A few examples:Do you have 5 ideas about who he is? Can anyone give me 5 examples? Should we invite 5 colleagues?Do you have 5 milks?Do you have 5 milk cartons?Does anyone have 5 knowledges about grammar? In case it's not obvious, I highlighted the ones that sound wrong ("knowledge" doesn't even have a plural). They signal that the singular should be used.

When I write an essay, I don't have any ideas, how do I get the ideas?

by studying the subject (internet+books) and finding something you like about it.But please note that writing like this is an exercise. This writing process is VERY wrong from a pure creative writing point of view. You should write essasys or ideas ‘tasting’ very interesting/cool/important FOR YOURSELF.On the other side, exercise (or the ‘workout of the writer’ as I call it) is VERY important.Any writing challenge makes you better, but you have to understand how writing works.Basically, creative writing is about what’s inside you mind, and if you honestly don’t care about something to the point that you have no idea what to write about it, you should not write it.On the contrary, daily workout is very important, and a a writer should NEVER be ashamed of wasting his ink.So workout my friend, but writing an essay about something you don’t care about will NEVER create any good result (but a very good workout only).Hoping this may be helpful,Wallace Lee

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do for a year?

There are great opportunities to volunteer overseas or get involved on a short term mission. I'm not sure of your background but I know that the Southern Baptist Convention is often looking for short term missionaries, so is the African Children's choir and other ministries - some may even be in your home town. The FRG always needs help as well.
