Any other good Indian films besides "Slumdog Millionaire" and "3 Idiots"?

These are the only two that I have seen so far, and they were both wonderful. Lots of depth and character, inspiring themes, beautiful soundtracks, and good cinematography.

Are there any other film Industries besides Hollywood & Bollywood??

Tollywood -Telugu movies(INDIA)
Chollywood-Chinese movies(CHINA)

Cani have ten points for both the answers

Why do MOST bollywood (Indian) films SUCK?

Most of them seem to lack depth, innovative stories, creativity and art...They are all ridiculously LOUD and crazy films with singing and dancing...The singing and dancing is fine since it's a cultural thing, by why do most of the films lack depth and meaning? also I must note that the few films, every year, that DO have innovative style, depth and meaning, go UNNOTICED and do badly in the Indian box office...Does this mean the audience has bad taste? The Indian films that are actually of international standards (Black Friday, Udaan, Maqbool, Dhobi Ghat, Phas Gaya Re Obama, Khosla Ka Ghosla) get ignored in India... Also great hollywood films like Schindlers List, A Beautiful Mind, Inception, No Country For Old Men, seem to confusing or boring to most Indians (In India) that I have spoken to...Does this mean, not to jump to conclusion but, Indians lack depth and the ability to dig deeper? When mindless comedies can work in India, why can't films that have some meaning, quality and depth? Is the audience to be blamed?

Which countries watch bollywood movies besides India?

Pakistan is the biggest market in terms of footfalls for bollywood movies.Other than Pakistan, bollywood movies are watched in Bangladesh,Nepal,Myanmar mostly through pirated DVDs.Outside the subcontinent,UAE and few other gulf countries are a big market. Most medium to big films release here in theatres.Apart from Gulf,USA,UK,Canada,Australia and New Zealand are the places where bollywood movies find theatrical releases. Some big movies also release in Malaysia. For ex:Films of superstars like SRK,Akshay,Salman,Aamir,Hrithik these find a theatrical release in malaysia.China is the new territory which can be explored further.3 Idiots was a huge success here and made Aamir Khan the only recognizable indian actor there.Hence,PK became a huge success there.SRK's Happy New Year was also released there but it could'nt find audience for it. It was a disaster there. Also China has restrictions over the number of foreign films releasing in their country. They only allow 36 films of foreign origin a year, out of which 25 hollywood films releases.Hong Kong and Japan are few other territories where bollywood films have released.SRK's Om Shanti Om and Rab Ne Bana Di jodi,Aamir's Dhoom 3 and 3 idiots,Sridevi's English vinglish found a release in Japan. Aamir's PK is currently playing in Hong Kong theatres and doing well.  Apart from these, there are some circuits which were'nt thought of being explored say about a 8yrs ago. These countries include Turkey(Aamir has great following in this country),Romania,Germany. Here are some of the bollywood movie posters when they released in foreign theatres.BARFI Russian Poster::BARFI Turkish Poster:Ek Tha Tiger,3 Idiots and Don 2 Japanese posters::Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi japanese poster:Om Shanti Om Japanse poster:English Vinglish and Dhoom 3 Japanese posters:English Vinglish German and Romanian Posters:PK Chinese and Hong Kong Posters:KICK Polish poster:Apart from the theatrical releases, people who have a fascination towards bollywood watch these movies through internet with subtitles. Here's hoping that Bollywood movies captivate the audiences worldwide and the market only grows from here on.

What is the best way to learn Hindi by watching Bollywood films?

Continue watching them with the subtitles. Go back to a part if you have to, if you want to learn a word. It works. Luckily there is a lot of English as well, so you can get through sentences, if you get what I mean. I suggest you search on the internet for some vocab words (bollywhat.com [forum sections] is very helpful). Even in lyrics and their translations can help a lot. Then, immerse yourself in the language - get as much exposure as you can. If you need help, contact me. I don't know much Hindi (it's kind of weak), but surely I can be of some assistance. Once you understand verbs, you'll be alright.

I highly recommend this site for you. It's filled with non-Indians wanting to learn Hindi and who are just as crazed about Bollywood as we are!

Also, if you're willing to learn, you'll have to learn the script (Devanagari) which will take a while, but it's easy to pick up.

If you prefer a less "Bollywood approach" (not stated in your question, but in case), then you should buy/borrow some books and CDs to get you started.
