I got called "FiFi" in HS more times than I care to remember. Curly hair appears to grow slowly, since it doesn't hang straight down. You'll have to live with it a long time if you don't like it.My head looked too small for my body. My face looked fat.It's made many decades since then and I've made peace with my frizzy hair. I keep it longish, mostly wear it up for work and hot weather, but the length gives more control.Try on a wig styled in a pixie first. Remember, the wig is carefully styled, and not going to look like your hair will during a windy, hot, rainy day. What is a good haircut for really curly hair?
I so know what you mean about your hair mine is just like that. But my stylist finally cut it the last time just right. Get layers that cascade to deal with the bulk and I had my hair thinned and trimmed to make it less big. Now I can deal with the curls and I don't spend hours using and iron. oh my hair is shoulder length now but I think this could work for other lengths. Also use some anti frizz serum.

well hmm the emo hairstyle that's really in style now is medium length and side bangs usually going towards your right side. depends if you have a lip ring. first you should get shears and a razor blade comb(to reduce volume and add a edgy look) begin from the front and form the side bags to about half the length of what the back is going to look like going longer towards your ear so (shorter short long longer) then begin a design line by cutting from the longest end of your bangs towards the back and then go wild cut length from the back and more from the other side and then the fun part! grab the razor comb and just pass it through to lessen the volume and make sure to make it look choppy. And at the top of your head make sure to create "sprouts" so grab the hair from the top of the back and make them way shorter so they can kinda rise and you can tease it up with hair spray. and if you want you can continue doing that towards the back to the top hairs from all around the back part
