What kind of rides are at Universal Studios?

In Florida, there's two amusement parks. See, there's Islands of Great Adventure, and Universal Studios. I'll take it that you're only mentioning Universal Studios, so that's all I'll mention.

First of all, Universal Studios is large. The rides at universal are great. Mostly all of them are motion-picture based thrill rides and/or shows. There's rides such as Men In Black Alien Attack; a game where you ride in a 6-person tram and shoot aliens for points, just like in the movie, there's The Revenge of the Mummy Roller Coaster; an indoor roller coaster where you run into obstacles in the tomb of the mummy without anticipation of any of the dips, drops, and turns it has, there's Shrek 4D; where you join Shrek and Donkey on an adventure where you can not only see 3D, but also feel what's going on in the movie! And then there's the two newest additions in the park; The Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rock-It; the most technologically advanced coaster in the world that records your ride in 6 different angles and automatically creates a music video synced to a song you chose to listen to while you're going up the 197 foot coaster in a 90 degree angle. The coaster itself features a new twisted turn based on the treble cleff sign on sheet music, and then there's the Simpsons Ride, the best motion simulated experience out there. All of the rides are amazing. Just look up the website on Google and get stoked.

How many steps are in Universal Studios CA? Between the upper & lower level of the park...?

And NO it's not a trick question, I know there's escalators but NEXT to the escalators there's stairs, I KNOW, I've climbed them... And no way its 3 stories, I know what 3 stories feels like ... :p

Where do production studios get old cars for filming movies?

A2A, Thanks!A couple different places…For cars that are just being used as props or set pieces (moving or fixed) there are specialized companies that provide the rentals of cars themselves from a collection of older vehicles, and/or also broker the rental of privately owned vehicles to production companies. This goes for military vehicles like tanks and such as well. The Valuzat brothers in Newhall, California have been doing this for decades. They also built/build (?) and sold/sell to production companies the vehicles that ended up being destroyed in the process of filming. When I was a kid they used to have a standing “wanted” advertisement in most of Southern California’s “Auto Trader” and other used car want adds for ‘68–69 Dodge Chargers used for “The Dukes of Hazard”, because the filming would regularly destroy the cars being used. For a period of a few years they made a couple new “General Lee” Chargers per week.I’m not sure how active the company still is, but I think they still have a Russian T-55 Main Battle Tank parked behind the gates of their ranch in Newhall ave.Studios themselves will also acquire and have rebuilt older cars, depending on how much financial sense it makes. Sometimes these are done “in-house” by the studio, and sometimes they will hire a private company that makes these kinds of cars. If they are not destroyed in filming, then they are usually sold off at the end of filming.

Is Los Angeles California as great as it seems on TV?

I see many images of happy people with small dogs and fast cars. makes me want to move across country to this seemingly "liberal, exciting, accepting" place with great weather 90% of the time. but is Hollywood really all it is portrayed as?

How long does it take to fly from Los Angeles to Africa?

For the last time, AFRICA is NOT a COUNTRY.
It is a continent with many countries within it.
