Anybody I Need A Choreography For The Song You

Does anyone have a list of Bboy/choreography songs?

Since no one else answered your question, I'm guessing that either
A) not a lot of folks are that familiar with the commonly used Bboy songs/Choreography songs; or
B) don't want to take the time to research and list all the songs;
C) don't want to keep it modern; or
D) a little bit of AB&C.

I'll claim A. So here are some links that might help you get the answers you need! Hope this helps....

Good GCSE dance songs for group choreography?

Hi,
I am a dance teacher and the most important thing for you music is that it fits your theme.

Think of your idea and then try and fit a song to it otherwise it won’t work as well.

If you let me know your theme I could help out with some suggestions.

But good sources are folk music and also film soundtracks.

I hope this has helped and good luck!

Popular songs with choreography?

I have danced to Korean and Japanese pop songs for about a year now and I was thinking of starting to do some American songs. Unfortunately, I've not been listening to it much the past year and I don't know which songs/artists do choreography. Anyone know some songs that have good choreography? I'm not limited to pop either. I can do just about any dance style.

How long does it take you to choreograph a dance, or do you do it as you are teaching the students?

Thanks for the A2AHow long does it take you to choreograph a dance, or do you do it as you are teaching the students?Good question… Unfortunately it’s not a one-way-or-the-other answer.Choreography can take a while. Depends on the dance, who’s going to be doing it (ie, you solo, you and a partner, a whole group), the music and length of it.If it’s a solo dance, Usually within a day, if not a few hours. I’ve done this a good number of times for ‘talent show’ type things. If it’s more of a Latin/Ballroom type one, then again, often a day, maybe two depending. That ‘Wannabe’ one I’ve mentioned in other posts took about 3–4 days back in college, maybe a week. Partially because it was time to count-out the beats for the various song and pick the best one. And since it was after-classes, and I had to teach some steps to the partner, including the rather specialized lift, ‘pretzel’ and dip…Partner for hip-hop/breakdancing routine, took a good week or so.Back when I choreographed the Lead(s) dances in Godspell, that took weeks, as there were multiple dances to do. As well as some one-off little skits for talent show things to garner interest. Now, MOST of these are done mainly on the fly. I’ll get a good idea, work out the generics, but then specific moves, will need to be checked with the performers (if not just me) to see if they can learn or even pull-off the moves (I remember the Godspell one I put a few actual Capoeira moves in for acrobatics for one song).Overall, as long as it’s close to daily working with a particular dance routine, it’s 1–4 days depending on the ‘students’ to CHOREOGRAPH it. To finalize and iron it out of course takes longer.

Jpop dance choreography?

So I'm making a Jpop inspired dance to go with a song that has no current dance. I have a couple of moves but I'm really struggling as to how to make a dance from scratch. Does anybody have any techniques they use or ways that help them make up dances? This is the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXReKp-iD5w or even dance move suggestions? Thanks you :) x

I need to write down Hip-Hop choreography?

If you write down notes for your own dance, no one is going to understand those notes but you. For example, you can put something like right arm, cross spin and only you would know what that move means. Next to your note you can put the counts to the song. For me it would be easier to put the words of the song. You can draw pictures when the move is too difficult to describe.

How to block a choreographed dance?

You certainly did get yourself into a situation. You need a choreographed dance by tomorrow and that is often hard for a professional choreographer to do in one day. If you haven't worked with these dancers before, then you don't even know what they can or cannot do or even how they move.

Any dance needs a beginning, a middle and an end. Once you have your song, find a dance phrase(s) (motifs) that fits the music and then use that repeated in different ways. It can be used in unison, in a canon (same steps but starting at different times,) in different directions as well as on different levels. The same motif can be done in reverse order, shadowing another dancer or mirroring by facing one another. You can also vary the dynamics. Keep in mind spacing and make use of both the positive and negative space. (the space between the dancers as well as the surrounding space)
Typical dances using simple contrast of 2 different motifs would be A,B, A (starting with the first motif we call "A" adding a second motif "B" and ending with "A" again.) or using 4 motifs (Rondo) A,B,A,C,A,D,A. These patterns can be repeated using the different ways of varying the motifs as I have mentioned above. You don't have to stick to this, but it is a safe way to go for a beginner to choreographer to learn good dance construction.
By having 2 or 4 simple phrases (motifs) you can vary them and make an entire dance that is diverse and yet still cohesive as the movements all relate to one another by just varying them and framing them using the ABA etc. type of form.
*It is likely they wont expect and entire dance tomorrow unless it is so very simple and very short. The dancers have to learn it too so they need time. You will have to think on your feet. And be one step ahead of them. Be ready to discard what doesn't work for something else in a minutes notice. Don't be afraid to ask for more time if you need it.

*EDIT if the dance is already choreographed as your question states "how to block a choreographed dance?" and they just want you to stage it, you will have to be able to read dance notation. Then you are pretty much screwed if you can't do that.
In addition choreography for video is different from choreographing for stage. You need to know TV lighting and perspective as well as camera angles. I suggest you talk to your dance teacher and beg for help.

Which song's choreography you like more, Dalla Dalla by ITZY or Du Du Du by BLACKPINK?

to answer this question, I just watched ITZY’s Dalla Dalla choreography.one thing for sure I can say that their debut song is massive. like really. mostly, kpop girl groups chores are easy and kinda look like some kind exercise or Zumba dance. (sorry, it’s just my opinion) so comparing to those dances, ITZY just nailed it. their choreo is hard. it is way better than their sunbaes. but if I need to pick between U DU DU and Dalla Dalla, I would, of course, pick Blackpink DU DU DU as my favorite.blackpink’s choreography style is something I’ve never seen anywhere. it’s different but in a good way. like so unique than other girl group’s choreographies.Dalla Dalla’s choreography is very common like any YouTuber's dance cover choreography. what I’m trying to say is that Dalla Dalla’s choreography is different from other girl groups but the style the choreographer used is common.they don’t have any posses in their choreography which kinda looks messy and chaotic.another thing I’ve noticed is that they sort of have the same moves repeating again and again and some of their moves are so typical.blackpink DU DU DU DU has soft and unique moves which look nice and I watch their choreo almost every day.the special steps which they do as a signature to the song DU DU DU (the gun thing) is just so unique and it really makes me dance whenever I listen to IT but Dalla Dalla’s choreo is something which I cannot see again and again and dance to it. don’t know what is their signature move in the main lines of that song.in the end, I just wanna say that Dalla Dalla’s choreography is amazing but I feel DU DU DU’s choreography is more fun to do.so I pick BLACKPINK’s DU DU DU’s choreography.
