Anybody Remember The Epic Monday Night Wars Of 2010

MONDAY NIGHT WAR = A JOKE [TNA FAILS :)]?

in every sense of the word TNA bit off more then they could chew

they shuffled the roster (brought in 'new' people, at the expense of originals)
redesigned the set
moved to Monday
turned 75% of their roster from heel to face or vice versa
directly challenged WWE

any one of these things would have been an over extension of the TNA product, but they did all of them over 3 months, and during WWE's build up to Mania

They'd have been smarter to lay the groundwork for about 6-8 months and then, with the fall 2010 TV season launched a new show to compete with Raw, leaving Impact on Thursdays and thus creating a new show to challenge WWE (if it failed it'd have just been a failed experiment, now its a company-wide failure)...

by using a "TNA Challenge" show as the method of competition they'd have more TV time so that the Xdiv isn't buried to push Hogan's Cronies, plus TNA has like 60 people... they need more than 2 hours a week, plus their web/international hour to push everyone properly

When was the last time you felt WWE touched on the Attitude Era from 2007....?

When was the last time you felt WWE touched on the Attitude Era from 2007 - Present that DIDN'T involve an Attitude Era wrestler?

In other words, it can't include the Big Show, the Rock, Austin, Booker T or anybody from the Attitude Era.

My pick would be when Cena performed the Attitude Adjustment on Batista off of a car. It looked like something that would have occurred during the Attitude Era. Whats your pick?
