IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT........IS WHAT I ALWAYS SAY. THE OLDER VERSION WAS MUCH BETTER & THE NEW VERSION HAS A LOT MORE KINKS THEY NEED TO IRON OUT. FOR ONE, WHEN YOU ARE VOTING ON BEST ANSWERS OR ON "THUMBS UP OR DOWN" ON RESOLVED QUESTIONS, IT KEEPS TAKING YOU BACK TO STUFF YOU'VE ALREADY SEEN, INSTEAD OF THE NEXT QUESTION / ANSWER. NOW, THEY NEED TO SHUT DOWN FOR ANOTHER 24 HOURS OR HOWEVER LONG THEY WERE OFF LINE & TRY TO FIX THE BUGS OF THE NEW VERSION. PEOPLE JUST NEED TO LEARN WHEN T \O LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE. PROBABLY SOMEBODY WHO WAS IN NEED OF A RAISE THOUGHT OF SOME "BRITE IDEA" THAT IS QUICKY DIMMING OUT ACCORDING TO THE OPINION OF A LOT OF YAHOO ANSWERS USERS SUCH AS MYSELF.
Anyone Agree? Last Gen Games are better?
My grandparents recently got a new computer and allowed me their old one, they've had the old one since 2000 and I used to play it alot when I was round their house on weekends. Upon turning this ancient machine on i've discovered it has all my old games on it, NFS: Hot Pursuit 2, UT2003, Age of Mythology, Max Payne 1, Call of Duty 1, Half Life 1, Return to Castle Wolfenstein etc etc and I have all my old saves with the dates on them. And I was thinking, If it was a dark friday night, stormy weather outside and I had the house to myself, I would rather sit down all evening playing these sort of games rather than current GENERATION games like Halo 3, COD4 and Far Cry 2 online...although I love these games and their online capabilities I still have much more love for old games. Anyone else feel this way? or is it I'm just still stuck in the past hehe

Yes, immaturity and hormones play a part in giving in to temptations. Moral culpability is sometimes reduced because of this. But honestly, as an adult myself, I don't find it any easier. I always thought as a teen that one day I'll tame down....I still feel as horny as a 17 year old. It's just all about staying close to God and will power.
The quality of the answes borders moronic. The service is full of trolls who are extremely rude and intentionally give bad answers.. Only certain topics have an active user base and when a topic does have very active users, half of those active users post diatribes and rants as opposed to good answers. Also questions are sorted in such a way that if your question isn't answered relatively quickly it's won't be answered at all and if it is answered with a low quality answer the sorter considers the question answered and puts it on the bottom. Overall YA is an really poorly run services. It would get better if they hired more moderators but until then it's barely usuale.

You have to try to convince them to reinstate it, because right now they are not offering the option to use it (Classic Yahoo Mail) anymore. They have upset a huge percentage of users. You can try to call Customer Support (1-866-562-7219 or 1-800-318-0612 ), but they may just say they have a high volume of calls and disconnect. I'm hoping the high volume is complaints about the new Yahoo Mail! Complain through feedback if you can; they keep disconnecting links so they lead to 404 errors, but they must accept feedback somewhere---here if nowhere else. Yeah, the era started to die after Kurt Cobain's suicide, which took a little bit of "fun" out of the angst and threadbare Grunge movement (I miss those days, best days of my life), so yeah, agree in a way, but I've been movin' on to new music too to keep things fresh, fusions are cool, I get tired of the same old thing, radio play is too slow on the shift to new music.
I was on YA for a few years and grew very very tired of the nonsensical questions that dominated, and the juvenile bullying and trolling there so I left. Quora has integrity, I use that word a lot here describing the site. Though in more recent months there've been more and more YA type behavior, the level of expertise here is higly professional, the answers well-informed and written, the authority with which people deliver answers is astounding, and it's highly informative.The fact too that the content belongs to members, that the authority here is the first rule of Be Nice Be Respectful allows to have offensive or malicious behavior contained, and that it is not a popularity contest, that we support users by voting up those answers that stand out, and not because we agree. Downvoting is not because we don't like it, but used only if the answer provides incorrect information, or otherwise does not contribute value. Quora excels in raising the level of information and participation by protecting the integrity of the information and the users. Quora is better.
