So long as that game still has active servers, yes. This was true of the Xbox 360 vs the original Xbox (The Duke, as they call it) as well. The backwards compatibility feature of the One essentially emulates the 360 entirely, which includes the online services.

If you press the home button and go two tabs over, you can go to the Xbox’s built in, looking for group service. This will connect you with tons of other players who are also looking to raid, do nightfalls, etc.Hopefully this helps!

It’s currently not possible to play with others between platforms, so whichever platform you purchase the game for will be the one you can play with others on. This might not be an issue for you but I wanted to point it out before you spent the money.Personally I love Destiny 2 on Playstation 4 because it gets exclusive content for a year. It’s only a couple of weapons but it’s a nice feeling. This might also change, but I’mm not as sure that it will because this deal is with Sony, a platform holder, not just a developer/publisher such as Activision Blizzard.

Do I need Xbox Live or PlayStation Plus to play Destiny 1 or 2?
The premium accounts for either system aren’t needed to play content in either Destiny, but Microsoft’s vicious money-grab scheme to have people pay for access to a portion of Destiny 1 on Xbox 360 opened the way to it being accepted. I never paid for access to content on the Playstation 3, it was all given freely. In the next console generation, both systems have some requirements for certain things. Such as pvp and co-op things such as raids. The premium accounts are needed for the full experience, so you might as well get it. Not to mention the free games monthly.
If I buy GTA V for Xbox 360 and play it on Xbox One, does GTA V for Xbox 360 have same graphics as GTA V for Xbox One played when played on Xbox One?

Hey I was wondering if I can play destiny on my xbox 360 offline. I know you have to be connected to Bungie's servers at all times but I don't want other people playing with me. I just want to play solo. Any suggestions?

Is "Destiny" (Xbox/PS4) worth it?
So is "Destiny" worth it? I've been reading up on it and I have a few reservations: 1 - It sounds like the game pretty much armlocks you into paying for a bunch of DLC extras even after you've shelled out for the system and game itself. 2 - You HAVE to be playing online with a bunch of strangers in order to play (let alone win, as I understand it), and from what I've been reading, I can't even figure out for sure if Xbox One or PS4 offer free online play or if I would need to shell out even more money to get an online membership. I've been leaning towards Xbox One as the new console to get, because I can play Halo as well as all the 'its on both systems' games I want, but I'm kind of confused now. Any help on any of these questions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
