https://highered.mcgraw-hill.com/sites/0...

go to the left and you can pick a chapter and there is an outline, games and quiz for each chapter.

http://apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/me...

scroll down and you can read past essay questions and then read the answers AND see the scores, the graders also tell you why those people got the scores.

good luck! i'm taking it tomorrow too. just look at the 2nd site for essays, i was freaking out about essays but then i read the ones on that site that got a 9 and i'm not stressed out anymore because i realize that the high scoring essays don't have to be perfect.

How should I study for an AP World History test??

It is a little late if it is tomorrow and you are in a panic. One needs to study as you go, take notes, ask the teacher what is most important to know. Meet people for study groups, and ask other in class what they think will be most important on the test.

If it is multiple choice questions, always go with your first gut answer, don't second guess your self unless you look over the test and realize that you answered it wrong.

If it is essay... either read over the whole chapter, and take notes or out line the chapter and highlight the things you think are most important to remember and memorize those...but you will need to stay up all night...or just drop it and start studying now the right way for the next test.

PLEASE! can anyone help me with my AP world history hw?

The actual answer is not in the reading. The point of an AP class is for you to take what you have read and draw conclusions. So, go back and look at the chapter with pre-industrial expansion. Write down the reasons and motives. Now, go to the chapter on industrial era and do the same thing.
Once you've done that, you've laid the foundation for your essay.

How do I get a 5 on the AP world history exam?

I can not stress this enough. AP World History is super easy if you just study right! As others have said read the rubric and their notes on key ideas. Memorize all of that and try and attach it to other facts from your textbook. It is almost eerie how the same wording from the College Board course description would be on their test. Most importantly focus on the transitions between the eras in history. Focus on what stayed the same and what changed between eras (technology, trade, power, religion, etc). When I took the test I came in with a ton of facts which I thought would help me get a good score. Turns out that it was my study of the transitions and big ideas that got my a 5. The multiple choice section is ridiculously easy mostly conceptual. You need to get yourself to the point where you know the qualities of each time period so well that when faced with a multiple choice question about something you dont know you can think about what was going on and find the most plausible answer.Example: if we are talking about ancient Egypt do you think they were teaming up with the Ottomans to take over Russia or finding new methods of agriculture? Only one of those makes sense when you know the big ideas of that era. Also in the free response section just write something. Even if you don’t know what you are talking about/doing just write. It works sometimes. Some good links:Site with a bunch of resources. Pay attention to the cram packets. They are literally gold. Better than most review books.Course Description (page 44–111)More cram packetsThere is another site with highlights of needed information for a bunch of main ideas… Unfortunately I cant for the life of me find it!Also I thought I should share my timeline of world history. It should give you a basic idea of what was going on in each area of the world during each era. Each horizontal grey section represents a major time period. Enjoy!Disclaimer: I am just a kid. I made this in a couple hours just for myself. It is not meant to be published. Please understand there will be glaring spelling and content errors. Sorry!
