Are 36in Legs Considered Long

Are my legs considered long?

Actually Stacy Keibler doesn't really have very long legs compared to some super models and leg models. Her legs are actually pretty short and bulky compared to top models. Models like Adriana Karembeu has an outseam of 49+ inches and she's only 1.5 inches taller than Stacy Keibler. Others like Anna Hickman also have out seams approaching 50 inches. BTW, i'm 5'11 and my inseam is a bit over 38 inches... I haven't measured my outseam, but it's probably close to 50 inches too.

How Long is Considered Long Legs?

Hi all,

I am female. I am between 5'7 and 5'8. My legs are 31.5 inches. So my legs are about 47% my body height. My friends always tell me my legs are really long. I don't know how much of your legs compared to the length of your body Is considered long legs?

Thank you

What are considered long legs?

I found this . . I think it explains it fairly well . . next time show us a pic of your legs

In a study conducted at Wroclaw University in Poland, regarding long legs, 218 male and female volunteers concluded that long legs are more desirable. Although the volunteers were the same height, they each had different leg lengths.

Very long legs, those with an extra 10 percent leg length, were actually rated as less attractive. The most preferred were legs that were just 5 percent longer than the average leg.

So why is someone like Kylie Minogue, the singer, considered to have the "best celebrity legs," even though she is only 5 ft. tall? It's because her nice legs are proportionally long compared to her small frame. For instance, if a women measures 5'-4" tall with an inseam leg measurement of 29", her legs would then be 45 percent of her overall height. This 45 percent is considered the right proportion for having average leg length.

If this same woman has an inseam measurement of 30-1/2" her legs would then account for 48 percent of her overall height, a 3 percent increase and could then be considered to have the perfect legs.

I am 5'-2 1/2" with an inseam measurement of 30-1/2"so my inseam measurement accounts for 49 percent of my overall height. So my legs would be considered proportionally long for my small frame, and I am still within the 3-5 percent preference over the average leg length.

Dr. Boguslaw Pawlowski, from Wroclaw University, also said that long legs signal health. Short legs are linked with a higher risk of cardiovascular disease and type II diabetes and with higher levels of body fat called triglyceride, which is linked to the clogging of the arteries, heart disease, and strokes.

To me sexy legs are legs that are well proportioned, toned, shapely - having indentations on the sides of the calf and thighs, are in great health, are smooth, tanned and shinny. Do you want to be that girl that walks through a room and men turn their heads to gawk?

What is considered long legs for someone who is 5'3?

that is long - like super long

I am a 6'0" guy and I have 32" inseam wow

I hope this was of use

Are my legs long/medium/short?

The general way to determine if your legs are long, short, or medium, is by measuring. Which is what you've already done! :)

If from your head to your hips (where your legs begin) is longer than from your hips to your feet (measured while standing and your feet are flat on the floor), then you have short legs.

If the measurement of your head to your hips is shorter than the measurement from your hips to your feet, than you have long legs.

If they're about the same measurement, then you're about medium.

However, if your top portion is only between about 1 and 10 centimeters shorter than your bottom portion, you'd still be considered about medium.

But from your measurements, it sounds like you have long legs! Your bottom portion is almost a full 20 centimeters longer than your top portion! :)

Do long legs on a man look good?

It depends on so many factors. If they’re skinny and lack muscle tone or definition, then no. I’ve seen a few guys who are either skinny or nicely defined/built but have these ugly skinny legs…looks horrible. If you have a short torso long legs just make you look weird. In theory long legs sound good until they start to get out of proportion. When it does it can make a man appear somewhat feminine or emasculate their appearance somewhat. I have a younger friend who has long legs and is tall, but unfortunately has rather full hips and ass and somewhat “soft” features that tends to feminize him.Long nicely defined or tones legs however do look good on men and just a subtle reminder when you’re working out and developing a fitness regimen do not forget your legs.

Long legs for 5'4...?

I'm and I'm 5'4 / 164 cm. What is considered "long legs" for my size? I know I'm relatively short, but when are legs considered long in my size? Hahaha, thanks.

(mine are 36 inches / 91 cm. long? short?)

Is a 29'' inseam for someone who's 5'8 and female short, long, or proportional?

I'm 5' 8" and I take a 34. People are shaped different.

29 is short, 32 is regular and 34 is long.

It has been my experience to order longer, because pants shrink up, especially jeans.

Style of Pants: If you are buying straight leg or pencil cut or cigarette pants, order the regular or short.
If you are getting flares, wide leg or boot cut, go with the regular which will be perfect for you, even after any shrinkage.

Generally, 5'8" is not considered a Tall/Long, but we are on the borderline of regular and Tall and I've always had good luck with Talls, except at the Gap or Victoria's secret. The Long/Tall sizes there are for people 6' and up.
Best advice is to actually measure your body and go from there and if between, order up for cottons/shrinkables.
Measuring your inseam: Measure to the point just below your ankle bone. OR find an existing pair of pants that you love in the same style/fit you are buying and measure the inseam on the pants.
If you truly have a 29" inseam from crotch to ankle bone, then generally, a regular or as you put it, proportional would be the safest bet if you cannot actually try on the pants.
