Are All The States Now Raising Up The Electricity Prices In Response To Master Obama

Is Trump the price to pay, for Americans, for having had Obama?

No. Trump and George W. Bush are the price America has had to pay for Fox News and 24-hour-a-day right wing talk radio, which in turn are the result of President Reagan overturning the Fairness Doctrine.Under the Fairness Doctrine, local station managers could go on the air give all the far-right editorials they wanted; but they were also required to let the opposition on the air to give the other point of view. This law treated the airwaves as a kind of public trust, in which no one side could monopolize to push their own agenda. Overturning the Fairness Doctrine didn’t just give us Rush Limbaugh; it gave us stations with 24-hour a day Rush Limbaugh clones. And so many of these talk-show hosts preached hate.I believe strongly in the First Amendment, but I’m horrified how it has been perverted to create 24-hour-a-day Hate Radio and the unending series of lies it tells. For example, I know of perfectly nice people who were brainwashed into thinking “Hillary Clinton is the biggest liar of all time.”A fact check turns up the opposite conclusion. The independent organization PolitiFact reported that 27% of Clinton’s statements in the campaign contained “some distortion of the truth.” For Bernie Sanders, this figure was 28%.BUT FOR DONALD TRUMP, OVER 70% OF THE STATEMENTS HE MADE HAD SOME DISTORAION OF THE TRUTH! THAT’S SEVENTY PERCENT!!!!!And recently, I think this figure (percent of Trump’s statements that are fantasies and/or lies) has gotten worse. So, if you want to derive cause and effect, I think that Trump and W. are the price that America paid for the “feel-good” presidency of Reagan.Personally, there are things I like about Reagan, He wasn’t all bad. But the repeal of the Fairness Doctrine is something that, in retrospect, has poisoned our political landscape. Also, it think it even more obvious to point out that George W. Bush and Donald Trump are the price the country has paid for not taking the silliness and unfairness of the Electoral College seriously enough. That’s another argument, but I think the evidence is strong. If Trump turns out to be a great president, people may think, “Maybe the electoral college isn’t so bad.” But if we get another disastrous presidency, as happened with Bush, people even in small states are going to have to take another look at things.

Was Richard Nixon the closest thing the US has ever had to a dictator?

-he and Kissinger illegally bombed Cambodia (Bush even had Congress's approval to invade Iraq)
-many parts of the US were technically put under martial law after the violent anti-invasion of Cambodia protests occured
-he was a genius who knew how Washington worked and how to manipulate others
-he wiretapped everyone that he even minutely distrusted
-he was paranoid and insecure
-he tried to steal Democratic Party material from the Watergate Hotel

Is it true that ISIS was created by President Barack Obama?

No. Barack Obama did not create ISIS. But what follows will certainly be a challenge to many people.ISIS became an entity during Obama’s presidency and the US has taken many actions to facilitate it’s formation but ISIS was a creation of autocratic middle eastern leaders who took the nations wealth for their private use and mullah’s who took a great religion and perverted it to hatred for the west as well as promoting the Shia/Sunni split instead of trying to resolve it.All People need an education, a job, security and hope for the future. If that is not available people get angry and anger leads to bad decisions. Anger leads to ISIS. Sunni/Shia hatred is akin to white/black intolerance. Silly (I know it’s naive but true none the less) and a waste of many lives.Obama is supporting the IRAQ gov’t in the best way he can. Teaching them how to fight, supplying them with weapons and leadership. Iraq has to be able to defend itself. Unfortunately the US has to use its air force killing foe and civilians which continues to fuel hatred. US diplomacy has yet to develop a consensus solution for the war in Syria. The Russian/Iran “blind support” for Assad doesn’t help. Yet another failure. The only way that ISIS the idea can be killed is for Middle Eastern Leaders in all countries to develop a love for their people greater than that of money and power. Mullah’s need to find away to resolve the Sunni/Shia divide and stop the ones perverting their religion into a religion of hate while exploiting their religion to increase personal power/wealth and settle personal power/anger issues.

Can you be arrested for a tax warrant(state taxes) like you can with a criminal warrant?

I am in the process of getting this paid but they had to go ahead with the filing of the "warrant" against me. Can I be arrested or anything if I get pulled over or something? They told me at the Department of Revenue that it is a "lien" on me or my business, which I ended last year but the paperwork was supposedly never received.(always my luck) I do owe for the taxes but not near as much as they say. I am just worried about what the warrant means.

Can we Americans agree that both Obama and Trump are good presidents with good economic leadership styles?

No, I don’t think we can agree on that.First, distinguish between “leadership styles” and “policy.” Obama and Trump have massively differently leadership styles. Obama was far more likely to appoint people with strong credentials and background to provide direction and advise. Trump is more likely to go to cable TV (see: Kudlow and Navarro). Obama is more inclusive, more likely to operate on hard data, more likely to have a discussion involving a lot of people then reach a consensus and move forward. He was less likely to ask for powerpoint presentations than George W. Bush, more likely to read material while Clinton was more likely to want to have a long discussion about topics. But ultimately all 3 of our previous Presidents bought in good people with strong credentials on finance and economics, then tried to develop comprehensive and aligned policy. Their “styles” in this area were different but had some similar elements. Not so for Trump. You may like his style but it’s very chaotic, doesn’t rely on a lot of staff, isn’t very strategic or big picture and it isn’t clear what the economic priorities are.Second, as for “policy”…I’m sure there are some conservatives who didn’t like some of Obama’s economic policies. But there are very few pure Republicans who would say that a trade war is a good thing—especially with your allies. Right now, it looks like we’re implementing tariffs with Canada and our NATO allies. I know conservatives would criticize Obama for raising the national debt. With Trump we now have a trillion dollar deficit in our budget and a $21 trillion national debt—using optimistic projections—if we get inflation or a recession we can expect it to jump even higher.I think it’s too soon to judge Trump’s economic performance. Unemployment has dropped—how much of that is due to the 7 previous years of consecutive job growth, how much is due to Trump actions that will be sustainable, and how much is temporary? Until we know that answer we can’t really speak. Have the Trump tax cuts produced inflation or will businesses end up raising wages but not increasing prices (so we see some action on wage inequality)? What’s going to happen with the stock market—in 2017 it went gang busters but until about a month ago it was negative for all of 2018. So we honestly can’t judge Donald Trump’s economic policy at this point. It’s too soon to tell.
