Are Everton Genuine Title Contenders

With 6 wins in a row, can Man Utd now be considered genuine EPL title contenders?

The fixture list during Christmas and in January seems favorable to United. They will play Chelsea and City back to back in a span of 8 days in the later months which falls right in between the CL knockout phase. The injury list is easing up for United with Blind, Shaw and Rafael set to return soon. Rojo or Smalling returning would also help immensely. The team still hasn't hit the fourth gear but is already on a six-match winning streak. Players will hopefully hit form and the game-play is much slicker with due emphasis on possession. The winning belief is back and the manager is well-suited for the big games such as those against Chelsea, City, Arsenal etc.A new center back or (and) Strootman will surely strengthen the team. The squad is already well-stacked.                                                                                                                                                                                      United are the dark horses, but surely they will put up a fight and have a decent chance of surprising City and Chelsea.

Considering the current form can Leicester City win the EPL this season?

Leicester is on a dream run, the way they are playing at the moment is unbelievable and at par compared any of the big horses.I think following factors are what making Leicester City genuine title contenders:1. Playing with freedom – Leicester is playing like that small kid who is asked to play with big guys. The only thing the kid can possibly do is to bring his innocence into the game and play without thinking about the opposition or score or the league table. The moment Leicester start realizing we are actually top of the league at the moment and can think of winning the league, the bubble will burst. The pressure can get under the skin of its players and they will start to choke. But, if they can keep on playing this way until the end, anything is possible. 2. Vardy and Mahrez – These two players have lifted the spirit of every single Leicester fan. When you realize that Vardy was playing for Fleetwood Town a few years ago, and now sits at the top of the goal scoring chart, his story, is nothing short of a fairy tale. As for Mahrez, he is an exceptional player. His skills on the ball sometimes resemble Messi. He’s a poor man’s Messi.Banter aside, no disrespect to Mahrez, he's a sensational player. 3. Almost the same playing XI – I think one of the important factor that makes a team great side is that they field the XI day in, day out. Leicester have suffered no major injury setback until now and they have a team that consist of similar faces every game and they understand each other well.I hope they can carry on their dream run but eventually allow Arsenal to clinch on the title come May. :)

Which rivalry is more intense: Man. Utd vs Man. City or Man. Utd. vs Liverpool FC?

Hello from Nepal everyone.Talking about Man Utd vs Man City or Man Utd vs Liverpool FC one has to follow football for a few years to understand the rivalry. If talking about the history Man Utd and Liverpool are legendary clubs of English Football with almost 38 league titles shared between them. Such Legendary clubs matches are legendary itself. Now talking about Man Utd and Man City these are local clubs or can be called as derby teams where Man Utd has been a footballing powerhouse from the past whereas Man City has been pouring money to empower themselves in the recent years. So answering which rivalry is more intense me being a die hard Liverpool fan i would say “Liverpool and Man Utd” is more intense but if you ask the same question to a Man City fan they might have a different answer. But still for me there are totally two important rivalries in English Football and has their own intensity during the game.YNWA

What is the most essential thing that separates the top 6 teams in the Premier League from the other?

The top 6 are in a league of their own. The most essential thing that separates them from the rest of the league is money and status. Teams like Manchester United and Arsenal have dominated the premier league since its inception in 1992(and also fared well prior to it) which gave them a boost with every passing year that they dominated, it used to often be a duopoly where united and arsenal were the only genuine title contenders so that boosted image big time and raked in rewards too. United are the biggest brand in the football and arsenal are often a very popular fashionable team. Liverpool are also an exceptionally decorated team and a big brand. Chelsea and Manchester City have had very generous investment which has led to success and automatic global exposure.Spurs are a bit of an anomaly here, they do have history but they’re not the most trophy laden club in history or the most dominant. Here the role of Daniel levy is important. He is a very shrewd man who runs the club really well(with the exception of the stadium situation now and a few panic buys) and spurs have a great unit and a great project.Having a history of success and a big brand name is a massive boost for these clubs as it attracts sponsors, players, managers etc which increases the gulf in class. These teams made the most of their successful phases and made their brands massive, so even during unstable periods they get in quality replacements. Also a lot of these teams have very clear plans which they stick to. Teams like Everton, West ham, Newcastle or wolves have the history but didn’t have much financial strength and probably didn’t make the most of their successes in the past and so they were mediocre for many years, and investment now has been haphazard, many changes here and there due to which they can’t quite do it and will definitely take years to bridge the gap. It’ll probably take another sheikh mansour to make the top 6 a top 7 or 8

What is more likely for the 2013/14 season: Man Utd getting relegated OR Liverpool winning the premiership?

Premier League wouldn't be the same if Manchester United gets relagated, which is impossible at the given or any circumstances. However :) , yes LFC has the best chance of winning the league. After their recent win over MCFC and MCFC's draw in the following game, LFC are the favorites. This feet is something a legend like Stevie G deserves after giving his entire life (career) to a club. Liverpool need to win this for him. The SAS combo every defence is fearing of, Suarez And Sturridge are in for all the commitment and making the right moves to keep the hopes of glory alive for the Kopites. They do have their eyes set on the 'goal'. The goal of Liverpool lifting the long awaited silverware. And they are not alone, the Young Guns are not leaving a stone unturned to contribute. Raheem Sterling and Phillipe Coutinho are a very crucial force in the success Liverpool has tested in the recent past. These four under the leadership of Steven Gerrand, and the company has made us dream. Made us believe. Dream On! You'll never walk alone.

Celtic fans. How do you think your team would fare.?

I think we'd be quite similar to a Fulham or a Stoke, pretty decent at home, but not so on the road. I'd probably go for anywhere between 10th & 20th.

We've clearly not the players or squad to challenge teams like Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Everton or even teams like Newcastle and Liverpool, although they are going through quite ropey times. Even your Fulhams, Swanseas & Stokes would be a battle, mind you so would your Wigans, Sunderlands & West Hams

It would be very difficult in actual fact, for us, as while we seem to be relatively adept this season against sizeable European teams, it would be a different story, playing teams of a higher calibre week in, week out.

I'd hope though, with the new and wider exposure, it would in turn mean, extra riches and added attractability and an opportunity to improve and strengthen our squad. I mean considering we made the Deloitte & Touche, Football Rich List Top 20 on numerous occasion's, while in Scotland, surely with the extra TV revenue, higher advertising/sponsorship deals, higher merchandise sales, added to our already significant matchday income, we could make a relative go of things, eventually in the EPL.

Rob: Stop it! On a good day..well we can but hope, sadly most are bitter little want to be Hun days. You really are a sickening little fcuk, with no morals...just a hatred of Celtic..away an lick Kaffo's bum tae.

Will Tottenham Hotspur beat Manchester City, at Etihad stadium this week?

Seems very likelyTotenham have been in red hot form for the last 6 premier league games not to mention stopping what seemed to be like a Chelsea team running away with the trophy(They still are ona very good way but just a little less running away and more in the driver’s seat to lift the trophy)Harry Kane is touted to beat Alan Shearer’s record for most goals at the rate he’s scoring.Deli Alli also seems to have foud his form and Christian Erisksen as well. The most important thing however, isthe back 5(Goalie and 4 defenders ) are like a giant rock .We often take defences for granted but tottenham have conceded only 14 goals in the 21 league fixtures which outrageous .City on the other hand have been in Horrendous form .Their goalie has the worst shot stopping record in the Premier Leaguetheir defense looks shaky (Everton ! (4–0) HAHAHAHA!)and Going forward their just shit.they have Zabaleta,Kolarov and Yaya Toure (3rd Highest Average Age in the Premier League) though they give experience, they are just slow legs to be perfectly honest with ya.So YES, Manchester City is showing all signs of being smashed all over the pitch. But football would’ve been so easy if I could just predict every result based on form and team play.Expect an EXPLOSIVE match! Anything can happen!Cheers!
