Are The Ammunition Manufacturers And Distributors Working With Gun Control Advocacy Groups

Why don't liberals and gun control advocates unite and purchase gun and ammunition manufacturers to effect tangible change by controlling the companies?

Wait… youre expecting somebody to come in, take over a company that makes a profit, and shut it down losing all the money in the process? You might be able to do that once, but after it happens the first time, Federal, Hornady, CCI, Remington, Weatherby and the rest (note that the last 2 also make guns… they will view this enterprise very dimly indeed) will take notice and put a quick end to your work. You might be able to succeed if you were to buy out each of them quickly, but most are family companies and not subject to trader’s whims… so your only probably avenue is to be hired, rise up in ranks and make a bid for control. By that time, you probably have changed your tune…Heck… one of the companies still left might buy all the assets at the bankruptcy auction, restaff it with the original people and find a better leader. The PR would be *amazing* — if a bunch of gun nuts can kill Dicks Sporting Goods, imagine the rallying behind a person who did right (plus, Weatherby could get another ammunition manufacturer for their 7mm WBY guns).

If I Buy 50,000 Rounds Of .223 Ammunition...Will Government Agents Knock On My Door?

Nope.

50,000 rounds isn't even one pallet of .223. I've gone in with friends before on pallets of ammo, no big whoop. Helluva cost savings!

The way you ask the question implies you think 50,000 rounds is a lot of ammo. Let's do a little math:
I shoot between 200 and 500 rounds each time I go to the range. I try to go to the range every weekend, and end up making it about 75% of the time. There are 52 weeks in a year. 75% is that is 39. Which means I shoot between 7,800 and 19,500 rounds per year. At my slow rate, 50,000 rounds will last me a little over 6 years. At my fast rate, it will only last 2 1/2 years.

You should visit the Knob Creek bi-annual machine gun shoot. There are thousands of guns there, all privately owned machine guns, you can shoot. The event burns through MILLIONS of rounds of ammo, mostly purchased by private citizens. They bring in truckloads of pallets every day to keep up with the demand. There are also flame throwers, grenades, and dynamite.

And you know who isn't knocking on the doors of the participants? Government agents.

How do you go about getting gun manufacturers to send you guns to review?

Hahaha, yours is the dream that many gun owners have dreamed.

To have gun manufacturers send you guns to shoot in the hopes that you will give them a favorable review.

As the others have told you, it's almost impossible unless you work for one of the larger gun mags.

You could go the route of the guys at gun tests.
They buy the guns themselves and sell the "unbiased reviews" in their gun magazine (gun tests) in order to pay for their gun collections.

Is there a firearm manufacturer out there that doesn't support the NRA?

Probably, but I doubt there are many inside the USA. In other countries, quite possibly several who would know what you mean by “NRA” might be opposed to them. In which case I doubt they say so unless they do not sell arms to the US civilian market.Smith & Wesson some 17 odd years ago made the mistake of crossing the NRA.How Gun Maker Smith & Wesson Almost Went Out Of Business When It Accepted Gun ControlMuch to the company's surprise, the NRA almost immediately instigated a boycott of its products. Other gun companies looked down on S&W for giving into political persuasion, and gun advocates didn't agree with the new restrictions S&W succumbed to.Consumers began refusing to buy S&W products and the market became flooded with used S&W goods that people wanted no part of. Gun enthusiasts saw the company as breaking solidarity with them, as a traitor and perpetrator of gun control. Consumers severely punished the firm for its disloyalty.Needless to say, S&W was taken completely off guard by the response. The resulting boycott almost bankrupted them.Understand- The only possible way the NRA has this much power, is they have a huge following among the American public, that will vote against politicians whom the NRA says to, and not buy gun or ammo products the NRA says not to over political reasons. The NRA is in general neutral about firearms makers and does not in general endorse one gun maker over another, other than that “those SOBs are traitors to the second amendment”, then no matter how good the product, a huge fraction of gun owners follow suit.

Should the United Nations take care of America's gun problem?

No, they can't confiscate weapons, but they can halt any and all import of weapons and ammunition that would at least be a start. Also they could keep records of USA firearms owners and essentially harass and intimidate them while outside of the US

Was the Obama era gun grab fear created by ammunition and gun manufacturers as a way to boost sales?

Nope, the gun grabber they’re not create by Gun or ammunition manufacturer but they existence long time ago.(You can read previous laws push by gun grabber like Assault Rifle Ban 1994.)The Gun Grabbers, Stupid Voters, and Stupid Politicians, It is not a boogeyman but it’s real things. This’s evidence show the existence of gun grabber, stupid politician who don’t know what’re they doing is true and they live in the US political system. So the argument from Gun Grabbers and Gun control advocates like this“We don’t want to ban your guns but we want to regulate it for save children life”It’s BSYou can see it in the most liberal and anti-gun state like Massachusetts. This is Mrs.Maura Healey, She’s Massachusetts Attorney General. She’s anti-gun politician who push assault weapon and copy-cat assault weapons ban in 2016.After, The anti-gun bill passed. People began went through the gun shop for bought AR-15s before dead-line.They ban firearms like AR-15, AK-47, etc. by it’s cosmetics and names, But the funny things about MA gun laws(Above)Now, The AK47 and AR15 both of them are illegal for civilian in the MA and they have same mechanics as same as the Mini-14.(Above) The Mini-14’s legal in Massachusetts, it use same cartridges and can shoot semi-auto as same as AR-15, AK47.Even gun control in France or Germany they won’t pass the stupid gun laws like the anti-gun states in the US doSo, You can tell your friend “France and Germany gun laws are friendly for gun owner more than Massachusetts, California, New York and other anti-gun state in the USAnother funny thing from stupid people who don’t know what are they doing.(Below) You still can buy these rifles like this and all of these rifles still legal in Massachusetts.M249S (M249S for the commercial market only and it can shoot semi-auto only, then it’s a rifle in the US gun laws)Bushmaster ACRFN SCAR 16S and 17SIWI X95 TavorCZ Bren 805 S1You can’t find the logic from stupid people.

Convert a blank gun ( jackal ) 9mm into a real ammo full auto gun?

I feel the same way. I don't care about the law. However, I would not do it since that gun will not withstand the pressure of a real cartrigde. If you want a machine gun, try to get a machinist to build it from scratch for you. It's not hard for a certified machinist to build. I've been advocating this for some time, however some of the hunters here aren't enlightened enough to realize that they will eventually have to turn to the black market to obtain their arms in the future. Obama is just the beginning. A new generation of radical gun control advocates is growing.

How much would it cost to take a controlling interest in all of the United States' major gun and ammunition companies?

This question does show the crazy lengths that people will go to deprive law abiding citizens the right to defend themselves in a naive attempt to prevent criminals from accessing firearms.  Why this is such a failed strategy is that criminals do not obey laws, but law-abiding citizens do.  So, the very people who commit these gun grimes are unaffected by such actions, the those who wish to defend themselves are deprived of that right. At the end of the day, this question shows the crux of the issue.  Gun control advocates believe that their mechanisms of control will change criminal behavior.  Second amendment advocates understand that people have a right to defend themselves from those same criminals, and their ilk. Depriving law-abiding citizens their rights in an effort to adjust criminal behavior is just not logical.  The criminals will continue to be criminals.  The law-abiding citizens will continue to be who they are.Fortunately for those who are Second Amendment advocates, the statistics support the logical view.  DGA (defensive gun use) saves tens to hundreds of lives for every life lost to a crazed gunman such as at Sandy Hook, the Canadian Parliament, or anywhere else.Gun control advocates don't like these facts, so they just cite the negative statistics and ignore the positive ones.  Remember, we all drive cars.  Yet many times more people die from traffic accidents than from gun deaths.  Our society feels the benefits from independent transportation outweigh the horrific downside associated with annual traffic accident deaths.  Somehow this same logic isn't consistently applied to gun ownership by law abiding citizens.
