Does the US Government have complete control over GPS?
I was looking this up just today and found the answer. Yes. The US Government owns all of the GPS. This was conveyed in a quick YouTube video titled “US Owns all GPS”, and can be seen here:Keep in mind GPS does not use satellites. It is a land based technology. Does Putin have complete control over the United States government?
No, he doesn’t have control over the US Government. But he clearly has more than a little over our President and he succeeded in helping elect him and make us even more fractious as a society than we were already. IMHO, he backed Trump because he knew Trump would, wittingly or unwittingly, help accomplish his (Putin’s) goal of weakening our faith in our Democratic Institutions and in each other. Trump could not have performed these functions any more efficiently if he’d known full well what he was doing and was busting his ass to make it happen.
How can we work together to reduce child mortality around the world?
Child mortality is based on quite a wide and varied number of things. My advice is choose a cause that is contributing to the problem but has meaning for you. Get involed. There are a lot of wonderful organizations doing the work you already care about. Even a monetary contribution would allow these organizations to buy additional vaccine to distribute. The best answer is ... care. When you care you talk (informing others) and give (protecting others). I think it is wonderful that you are thinking this way. Please, do what you can. Have the courage to make a difference, even a small one.
Why are people so against a world government?
Each country has problems complex enough for their own governments to solve. Now imagine a single government trying to solve the problems of 196 countries.Another reason is because the world is not on the same level of development. If the European Union were the same state as Somalia, their economy would collapse especially if a single currency is used. The reunification of Germany itself nearly ruined the West German economy.Imagine thousands of diseased Liberians and unskilled North Koreans getting easy immigration to Europe or China. Imagine the United States getting overpopulated as a flux of impoverished South and Central Americans easily cross their borders, except there are no borders anymore. Obviously, not every country wants to see its decades of hard work ruined and some will eventually get fed up and seal off borders or secede. Now what's the point of having a one world government when it's powerless.
